DPA platforms provide the tools necessary to build applications, trigger integrations, and manage the processes associated with virtually any digital workflow.

The underlying technology in DPA software is similar to that of low-code development and business process management tools. A key differentiator between DPA and other rapid application development tools is the role of the citizen developer.
