It supports internal assignments and step-by-step processes, including onboarding workflows, service workflows, project workflows, contract workflows and negotiations, and task assignments. You can also use a variety of forms, either building them from scratch or starting from existing company templates. You can include prospects, customers, and partners for signatures, information forms, or document upload requests. Results can be saved automatically to the cloud, sent via email or SMS, and shared internally or externally. You can also receive email or SMS notifications about workflow status, progress, or completion. On top of that, the real-time technical support is excellent, so you’re not stuck trying to figure something out on your own the first time. **What do you dislike about altaFlow?** Depending on your use case and how complex the process is that you’re trying to implement, setup can be time-consuming. That said, the end result is well worth the effort, and it’s very easy to run simple contract negotiation and signing sessions involving one or more parties. It works well as a replacement for basic e-sign solutions, and it does so at a competitive price point. **Recommendations to others considering altaFlow:** If you have any type of onboarding process, sales scripts, electronic signature needs or any number of team members working together toward a common goal, you need to take a look at airSlate. **What problems is altaFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** This platform helps us create a company-wide best practice while eliminating many of the individual technical struggles that come from using multiple types of software and separate solutions. There is so much room for error when manipulating PDFs, preparing documents for electronic signature, and trying to merge different technologies just to accomplish a single task. Having all of these solutions rolled into one compatible, managed platform—backed by skilled customer support—reduces a lot of frustration for administration and the broader team. ### 2. It's really easy to understand, edit, and adjust without breaking anything, which has been very helpful. I also appreciate that altaFlow solves the issue of needing paper waivers that are notarized by making everything electronic, saving time and hassle. It's great that I can access waivers digitally even when I'm away from my desk. Additionally, I appreciated how a couple people from Altaflow hopped on a call with me to walk me through how to build out our first workflow. The integration with other tools, like having an API that connects to our database and using a Google bot, is pretty fantastic. **What do you dislike about altaFlow?** My biggest frustration is there's no "snap-to" option or the ability to align multiple fields at the same time, you have to eyeball it and hope it looks lined up. **What problems is altaFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** AltaFlow replaces paper waivers and notarizations, saving time and hassle as well as space! We no longer have to store paper documents! I can access waivers anytime, anywhere, and it's easy to manage electronically, which simplifies things for our whole staff. ### 3. We use Airslate to generate client-facing reports from Salesforce. The ease of use to pull data and generate reports has saved us so much time in our organization, it literally is one click of a button. **What do you dislike about altaFlow?** There is so much going on at Airslate with all of their different products it can be difficult to navigate and understand how they all play a role. **What problems is altaFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** They can pull and push data into Salesforce on multiple levels. We can easily fill client reports with client data and push those to the clients. ### 10. I have had great experience using both the chat feature as will as submitting tickets. The customer support representatives are prompt and knowledgeable. The system itself can setup some verry sophisticated workflows but the learning curve can be fairly steep when you are working on more complex workflows. There are also some significant slowdowns on the back end when trying to work with complex workflows that have lots of fields and data to move around. **What do you dislike about altaFlow?** Some of the problems I have run into, especially with larger and more complex workflows is a very noticeable slowdown in the system. for example I have a workflow that uses 5 web forms with about 600 fields to collect customer info and then transfers that data into a series of documents and prepares them for signature. The reason I had to split this acrost 5 web forms was in part due to the slowdown in the system caused by so many fields. This slowdown is not on the end user side so much as on the backend as I try to setup stuff like the conditional logic. Additionally as I try to set up a bot to transfer the data collected from the web forms to the appropriate documents for signature, I start to experience significant response time delays in the prefill from doc to doc bot setup screen. By significant I mean it takes 20-30 seconds to respond every time a change is made. Because of this I have resorted to adding multiple copies of the bots and only transferring a smaller amount of fields per bot. **What problems is altaFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for a way to convert most of our client onboarding paperwork to a digital process that was able to use conditional logic and capture e-signatures. ### 11. This has allowed us to automatically trigger other software upon document completion and to automatically enter data from the document into our data storage locations. The workflows are easy to figure out and documents are easy to set up. **What do you dislike about altaFlow?** If someone opens a document and closes the window, it locks the document from routing or the individual from being able to use the link again. Every time this happens, a person with admin rights has to go in - delete the draft - and re-send the document. Also, if you save a document as a draft, and you had a previous document saved in the same Flow - the most recent draft will overwrite the first one. Tech support always answers quickly - but there is a long wait for higher-level tech support, and communication is not a strong point for their team. You also cannot trigger a document to send to the next signer based on a date in the document - this would be a big help. THEY DO NOT HAVE MFA!!!! Due to this, we cannot enter any PII (like W9s) in airSlate. **Recommendations to others considering altaFlow:** The platform is good for the cost. They are a young company - and continue to roll out improvements. Sometimes - they miss key errors that can happen and try to role out too much at once, compromising on quality. However, we searched extensively for our e-signature platform. Many other options are missing key components for us, such as calculated fields, out-of-the-box integrations, routing capabilities, and field type flexibility. **What problems is altaFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a non-profit that manages several government grants, we typically have a lot of paperwork requiring routing or signatures. AirSlate allowed us to meet these needs without concern for the number of documents we send through the software. The audit logs assure our funders that we are collecting legal signatures. ### 24. I have been able to do simple automations myself with SalesForce with very few issues. But the best thing by far about AirSlate is the customer support. I worked with Olga, who taught me how to work with slates, flows and bots! Exciting! We had two custom requirements that weren't readily available, so their engineering team went to work and created a work-around for one (that makes it better than we asked for) and did something magic that made the other happen. Olga was the consummate professional, even testing for me after we went live and contacting me when she found something not quite right. We were looking at three separate software platforms to do what AirSlate can do. It is truly document automation and I'm thrilled we found them for our start-up business. Highly Recommend. **What do you dislike about altaFlow?** I don't think they charge enough. Honestly, all this work and time for free. I want to pay them before I get to 600 slates. **Recommendations to others considering altaFlow:** HIghly recommended. **What problems is altaFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to upload documents and have them attached to one agent record. They did that. We needed the info entered to pre-populate fields in later forms and it did that. We needed it to create a new, incremental agent number for each new sign-up. They did that. We needed it to transfer the typed info to a google spreadsheet and it can do that. We needed it all transferred to a third-party secure server with the new agents name, date and agent number and it does that. We needed the data to be all be connected within one flow coming from one link. It's simple and clean and user-friendly. They can be HIPAA-compliant, and it's great to be able to set up conditional items on slates that affect other signatories. **What do you dislike about altaFlow?** It isn't very user-friendly on the back end, and if you need to have multiple forms in different combinations, you need to make different sets to be sent out. Then if one item needs to be changed or corrected, it needs to be done in each individual set. It took a little while to get the hang of the vocabulary and when to use which "bots" for which purposes, but airSlate Engineers were there helping each step of the way.
