“Quick and Reliable Design Tool for Beginners”
What do you like best about Canva?

I use Canva to create thumbnails, simple social media posts, and basic promotional designs. It helps me make clean and professional-looking visuals quickly without needing advanced design skills. Canva solves the problem of creating designs without technical knowledge or expensive software. It helps me save time by providing ready-made layouts, so I don’t have to start from scratch every time. What I like most about Canva is how simple and organized everything feels. The templates give a good starting point, and editing is very smooth. It makes designing less stressful and more efficient. I also like how flexible the templates are. Even after choosing a template, I can easily change colors, fonts, and images to match my needs. The editing tools are smooth and don’t feel complicated, which makes the whole process quick and comfortable. The setup was very simple. I signed up and was able to start designing immediately without any complicated process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

One thing I dislike is that some useful templates and design elements are locked behind the paid plan, which can feel limiting when working on more creative projects. Also, when editing more detailed designs, the editor can occasionally slow down, especially on mobile devices. These issues are not major, but improving performance and offering a few more free features would make the experience better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva solves the problem of creating clean and professional designs without needing advanced design software or technical skills. It saves me time by providing ready-made templates and easy editing tools, so I don’t have to build layouts from scratch. This helps me produce content more consistently and focus more on ideas instead of struggling with design setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Transforms Data into Clear Visuals with Ease”
What do you like best about Tableau?

I use Tableau to turn raw data into clear and interactive dashboards that help me actually see data, track performance, and make smart decisions. I like that I can create complex dashboards without needing heavy coding and that Tableau can connect with multiple data sources, which is a significant feature for me. Tableau's strong sharing feature is great for team collaboration, as I can make and share dashboards that my team can access anytime without needing the original files. My team can see real-time dashboards, and the permission control makes sure the right people see the right data. The initial setup of Tableau was very easy and beginner-friendly, which I really appreciate. Uses it for 4-5 times a Week to generate reports and visualizations. Customer support is good, but I don't use it daily, but whenever I get my query resolved. Integrations i use are aws redshift and google sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

The licensing cost adds up quickly as more users need access, and it requires a good amount of system resources, so performance slows with large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Tableau to turn raw data into clear, interactive dashboards, making it easier to spot patterns, track performance, and make smart decisions. It brings multiple data sources together and streamlines reporting, facilitating team communication by sharing real-time dashboards without needing original files. Its integrations are very useful; I use Google Sheets with it to track usage of products and what my users (customers) like more, and its native connector for databases like AWS Redshift is being used for data visualization and streamline data analysis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Empowers with Interactive Dashboards, Minor Integration Lag”
What do you like best about Microsoft Power BI?

I love using Microsoft Power BI for its interactive dashboards, which help me track my business performance and enhance my decision-making abilities. The automation of my reporting strategies is a huge plus. DAX, or Data Analysis Expressions, is extremely useful for custom calculations and makes complex tasks like measuring year-over-year growth easier. I appreciate the automatic sync feature as it saves me from having to manually update files all the time, it’s efficient to just refresh and see all the updates. The initial setup was very straightforward, I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?

It gets slower sometimes when I'm working in the integration of multiple datasets. Connecting multiple data sources is difficult if the formats of both have a lot of discrepancies, and it also slows down the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Power BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Looker?

I use Looker for digital ads reporting for platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and DV360. I like that it creates dynamic and live reports, especially for Google platforms, which is great for sharing with clients and managers. The best part is, once set up, it can show reports in real-time to anyone who needs it, and the initial setup is easy, though it takes time when blending reports. Once done, it can be used forever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

It is not very efficient for non-Google products and sometimes it's paid for certain platforms. Setup is easy though it takes time especially when I need to blend the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Looker:

“We expect exceptional pre-sales service but exceptional post-sales is what make AA stand apart”
What do you like best about AgencyAnalytics?

The pre-sales communications were fabulous. They were very attentive and very responsive to unique queries, and they gave me the time I needed to consider my options. Setting up all clients was a breeze, and then moving to the template or unique report creations flowed almost seamlessly.

There are loads of integrations to choose from which has made my client reporting so (so) much better. I love that it integrates with our many Google Business Profiles too, which many others did not.

Love seeing how much they're constantly improving the platform with the regular updates to applications, services, integrations and more.

I've had a couple of "bug queries" and the response has been so fast (usually within about two minutes). This is exceptional service for the "after sales" period. The staff are so helpful, incredibly polite and provide solutions in plain English. They take the time to ensure you get any issues resolved in the shortest possible time.

I couldn't recommend both the product AND the service enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AgencyAnalytics?

I used to have issues with adding dates for historical Google reviews but that seems to have gone. Now (and again, super tiny issue), it's just a user experience thing. when pop-up windows open within a page, often the 'close window option' is not visible on screen (it's super pale on my monitor and you just can't see it) so it's a bit frustrating 'cause you can't move on from this until you finally find the close window X Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AgencyAnalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

My most recent query was regarding the renewal process. I sent my query, the response was incredibly speedy, very thorough and, most importantly, in plain English and really easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Hurree Review 3”
What do you like best about Hurree?

I genuinely appreciate how the platform streamlines cross-departmental collaboration, especially with our development and quality assurance teams. The real-time notification system ensures that everyone stays updated without constant manual follow-ups, which has significantly improved our workflow efficiency. The customizable dashboard allows me to track project milestones in a visual format that makes reporting to stakeholders much simpler. The integration capabilities with our existing tools like Jira and Slack created a seamless transition that didn't disrupt our ongoing projects. The mobile accessibility means I can stay connected even during my commute, which is crucial in our fast-paced environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hurree?

The initial setup process proved somewhat complex and required substantial IT support to implement correctly across all departments. The advanced features have a steep learning curve that necessitated multiple training sessions for team members who aren't technically inclined. I've noticed occasional synchronization delays when handling very large files, which sometimes creates version control issues during critical project phases. The reporting module, while comprehensive, lacks some flexibility in exporting data to specific formats our finance department requires. The pricing structure becomes significantly more expensive as you add more users, which makes scaling challenging for growing teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hurree solving and how is that benefiting you?

This platform fundamentally solved our communication gap problems between remote team members across different time zones. Before implementation, we struggled with version control issues where team members would work on outdated documents, leading to rework and missed deadlines. The automated workflow features reduced our project deployment time by approximately 30% by eliminating manual handoff processes. The centralized documentation repository eliminated the problem of duplicate files and conflicting versions that previously caused confusion and errors in our deliverables. The permission settings allowed us to maintain security while enabling appropriate access levels across different team roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“No-Code Ease with Domo, Boosting Sales Insights”
What do you like best about Domo?

I find Domo super easy to use, especially for nontechnical people. It's really straightforward to learn the analytics side, which is great since the people creating visualizations in my team don't typically have a technical background. Using Domo's no-code platform makes it easy to train up the team, which is awesome for filtering and changing date ranges on cards. It's also been easy to train our salespeople on how to do what they need to do on the cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I know that my team always has a hard time on launch day when new products come out. It significantly slows down the rest of Domo. But all things considered, like, that's a you know, once a month max problem. And it usually bounces back pretty quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Domo solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Seamless Integration and Unified Features for Advanced Users”
What do you like best about ILUM?

What I appreciate most about ILUM is its Ease of Integration. The platform is built to be open and modular, allowing it to connect seamlessly with the tools we already rely on, such as Airflow, dbt, Jupyter, and various BI tools through JDBC. We didn't have to overhaul our existing workflows; ILUM integrated effortlessly, which meant less hassle during implementation and a much quicker realization of value—something I consider a major advantage.

Another standout aspect is the impressive range of features combined with how easy it is to use. Since ILUM is a unified platform, I can run SQL queries, review data lineage, and launch Spark jobs or notebooks all from a single interface, eliminating the need to constantly switch between different tools. Having that centralized control is incredibly convenient.

The process of implementing ILUM is both straightforward and nuanced, but for the most part, it's simple if you have the right infrastructure in place. Because ILUM is Kubernetes-native and deployed via Helm charts, if you already have a Kubernetes cluster set up, you can get the core components—Spark and the UI—up and running in less than five minutes using a basic Helm command.

Personally, I use ILUM as my main platform nearly every day in my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ILUM?

If I had to nitpick, the initial UI for the truly deep engineering stuff can be a little much for new users, but once you get past the initial setup (which is covered well by Customer Support and training), the daily use is very intuitive. The Interactive Sessions feature is also amazing for cutting down on Spark job startup time, making my day-to-day work way more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ILUM solving and how is that benefiting you?

ILUM solves a few major headaches that were common in the big data world. The main problem is fragmentation—trying to stitch together separate, expensive data lakes and data warehouses, which leads to messy data silos, inconsistent results, and a lot of unnecessary work. Older proprietary systems like Cloudera or Databricks are costly and lock you in. ILUM gets rid of those problems. It's an open-source based Data Lakehouse platform that unifies everything.

For me as a user, this translates to tangible benefits. First, it is much faster. The interactive Spark sessions eliminate those 20-40 second job start times, and processing can be up to twice as fast overall. This means I'm not waiting on the infrastructure; I'm actually doing my job. Second, it's cheaper and more efficient. The platform is zero-license, Kubernetes-native, and runs anywhere (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), which drastically cuts infrastructure costs—we talk about 60% savings for clients. That budget can go to actual development, not just licensing fees. Third, it provides clarity and governance with features like automated Data Lineage and a central Data Catalog, so I can trust the data's quality and know exactly where it's been. In short, it lets me focus on the challenging and valuable work of data science and analytics instead of wrestling with complex, slow, and expensive tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Empowering Data Analysis with Intuitive AI Tools”
What do you like best about Hex?

I really like the HEX generative AI agent; it's the feature I enjoy most. It's incredibly helpful for getting research started, writing code accurately, and synthesizing findings without much hallucination. Additionally, the integration process was very easy and gradual, with HEX making it simple to use CSV files directly out of the box. The threads feature is particularly useful for speaking in natural language, and HEX performs a lot of the analysis automatically without needing much intervention. It has great self-healing properties, too, like fixing code issues easily through the AI agent. I find it valuable to chat with the HEX AI agent, which helps explain results and their ramifications in simple terms, aiding in synthesizing research questions and analyzing data effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hex?

I think Hex is still figuring out the enterprise use case in general. I tried to use Hex's semantic features, but even though it was supposed to be in my plan, I was not able to access it until very recently. So I think, in terms of the admin panel or the platform itself, there might be some issues here and there. However, I think the team is very responsive whenever you do have a problem. I've noticed that it's very difficult to export from Hex. I wish there was a cleaner way to export the data files from Hex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“All-in-One Analytics Powerhouse with Outstanding Support”
What do you like best about Count?

I have switched to Count for all the analysis I run, so I would say I use it on a daily-basis.

With Count, you can have queries, plots, text, reports, and comments all in the same place. I find this extremely valuable, as it effectively makes everything self-documenting: the queries that support the results, the interpretation, and the reviews that were made all live together. Moreover, we can collaborate in real-time on the same canvas, which is amazing.

I really like that Count allows you to create tiles and reference results, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. This helps avoid a lot of code duplication and significantly streamlines query creation. Personally, I think this makes a big difference because it allows me to split complex queries into clearly defined components and then combine their results as needed.

When using other tools, I sometimes felt constrained by the lack of flexible filtering, which was often managed at the organization level and pushed me toward hacky solutions. With Count, control cells make it easy to implement the exact filters you need, giving you a lot of freedom and power to build very flexible dashboards.

Finally, I think the Count support team is excellent. They are consistently helpful, whether I’m stuck or just looking for best practices to implement something in the tool. They either provide a solution or take note of the feedback to improve the product. A good example is the recent addition of support for different scales in facet plots, which addressed a limitation I personally encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Regarding areas for improvement, I do have a few ideas.

I think the construction of frames could live in a separate canvas, similar to how Tableau approaches dashboards. This would offer the best of both worlds: plots would remain close to the queries that generate their data, while still allowing the creation of a dedicated dashboard that brings everything together.

There are also some smaller usability issues that can make the interface feel unintuitive at times. For example, when creating custom plots, individual marks cannot be named, which makes it harder to understand what each mark represents. Similarly, when multiple marks are used, it’s not always clear which variable is assigned to the secondary axis.

Some solutions also feel a bit hacky—for instance, adding vertical lines to indicate events by using bar plots, where it’s not always obvious how to control the bar width cleanly.

Overall, these are relatively minor points. They don’t slow me down in my day-to-day work, and I see them more as a wishlist than as real blockers. As with any tool, there is always room for improvement—but Count is already a superb product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Count solving and how is that benefiting you?

Count solves the problem of fragmented analytics workflows by bringing queries, plots, text, and reviews into a single place, which makes analyses naturally self-documenting. This benefits me because I can always trace results back to their underlying logic and interpretation without losing context. It also addresses code duplication by allowing results to be referenced across tiles, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. As a result, I can break complex queries into clear, reusable components and iterate much faster.

Count also solves the rigidity of traditional dashboards by giving you control cells to define filters directly in the analysis. This gives me far more flexibility than organization-level filters and avoids the need for hacky workarounds. Another key problem it solves is reviewability: comments, interpretations, and feedback live right next to the data. That makes collaboration easier and decisions easier to justify.

Finally, Count reduces the risk of getting stuck with tool limitations thanks to a very responsive support team. Knowing that feedback is heard and often translated into product improvements makes me confident in relying on Count for my day-to-day analytical work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy Sigma Integration with Powerful Plugins and In-UI Data Editing”
What do you like best about Sigma?

I like that it’s very easy to integrate, whether you use iframes or the SDK, and that you don’t have to code everything from scratch—you can simply bring the power of Sigma into your application. I also like the custom plugins, and the fact that it lets users edit data directly in the UI and have those changes saved back to the data store, without needing to build the entire API and backend flow yourself. What do you dislike about Sigma?

Sometimes it’s difficult to make the Sigma panel look exactly like the application design. I find the styling options somewhat limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sigma solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s an excellent tool that benefits me a lot and saves me time. Now I don’t have to spend so much time in program dashboards; instead, Sigma takes care of the heavy data work, and I can focus on the application architecture and the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Powerful and Modern Platform for Advanced Analytics and Teaching”
What do you like best about SAS Viya?

What I like best about SAS Viya is how it combines the strength and reliability of traditional SAS with a modern, flexible environment. I appreciate the cloud-based structure, which makes it easier to access projects from different locations, and the integration of visual analytics with coding in SAS and Python. The interface is clean and intuitive, but still powerful enough for advanced modeling, including mixed models and large datasets. It feels scalable, efficient, and well-suited for both teaching and research environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAS Viya?

While SAS Viya is powerful, the transition from traditional SAS 9.4 can sometimes feel challenging, especially when certain procedures or workflows do not behave exactly the same way. Some advanced features require additional configuration or licensing, which can limit access depending on the setup. In addition, for new users, the interface and ecosystem can feel a bit overwhelming at first, particularly when navigating between different applications (e.g., Visual Analytics, Model Studio, programming). A smoother learning curve and clearer guidance for users migrating from earlier SAS versions would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAS Viya solving and how is that benefiting you?

SAS Viya helps solve the challenge of analyzing large, complex datasets efficiently while maintaining reproducibility and transparency. It provides scalable computing power, which is especially valuable when working with mixed models, high-dimensional data, or collaborative research projects. The integration of visual tools with programming also streamlines the workflow from data management to modeling and reporting. For me, this improves efficiency in both research and teaching, allowing me to demonstrate advanced methods clearly while handling real-world datasets more effectively.
