The only real pain point has been the VRBO connection — it's a bit finicky compared to the Airbnb integration. I like how easy and intuitive the user interface of Wheelhouse is to use. I also appreciate that it's not a black box, allowing data scientists like me to look into the underlying processes. Compared to its biggest competitors, Wheelhouse is much more transparent. That transparency is one of the signals that gives me trust that it is a more advanced product. I’m able to dive into as much detail as I want, customize the things that are important or that I want to test, and still leverage as many of the very easy-to-use recommended features. There's a lot of optionality in terms of what parts you're using the recommendation engine for and what parts you want to customize specifically. Setting up Wheelhouse was relatively easy — the support team was and still is incredible. I was able to set up a call with someone who walked me through all of my questions, stayed with me as long as I needed, and helped me configure the settings exactly how I wanted. I can't say enough about my positive experience with OwnerRez. I've been in real estate (sales & property management) for 20 years now so I've interacted with a multitude of online platforms and service providers and this has BY FAR been my best experience at getting one set up.

The guidance provided during this entire process is unmatched! Their support team is responsive, precise and professional! I worked with Ken primarily and he was the absolute best. Whenever I got stuck or needed advice or instructions on how to set something up he quickly pointed me in the right direction.

Their platform is organized, efficient, extremely in depth and yet easy to navigate and set up. As with everything, there is a learning curve, but once you get it all going it makes your vacation rental(s) so much easier to manage across the various rental sites. However, with my research, I found that Hostfully is a more complete solution for the management of your properties, regardless of how many properties you have. Their onboarding process was excellent. My onboarding person was Kana Gordon. She is very knowledgeable, on top of emails with quick responses to your inquiries, and more importantly, FRIENDLY and easy-going in her approach to onboarding the clients. What do you like best about Rent Manager?

I really find texting to be huge, as it allows for seamless and fast communication with all of our tenants in the building, as well as other properties. Rent Manager provides clear oversight to those in management about what's going on with tenants and prospects, which means anyone can pick up where someone left off with full clarity. The ability to integrate with our leasing software is essential. The UI and graphical aspect of Rent Manager is easier to grasp and more straightforward than Yardi. What do you dislike about Rent Manager?

The inability to filter for some basic things is definitely a disadvantage; there are a million search parameters however, some basic ones are left missing. When dealing with 1000+ prospects and bulk data. Things like, the ability to filter out by who has paid the application fees, would be one of the few off the top of my head. I use Rent Manager for accounting, prospect tracking, billing, rent management, and tenant relations. What do you like best about PriceLabs?

What do you like best about ResNexus?

ResNexus has had top notch customer support, in particular Lena Fleming, who has assited us with our initial set up and has provided training on how to really take our property to the next level using this software. The month to month contract with affordable price point made it easier to make the leap without feeling too nervous. The ease of use for our employees and guests looking to stay with us has been extremely helpful in the transition! What do you dislike about ResNexus?

At this time we don't have anything notable to write regarding dislikes.We are eager to continue learning how ResNexus can support our seasonal camping and glamping rentals at Blue Mountain Resort. What problems is ResNexus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Primarily, we needed an easy way for guests to book a stay with us - and an easy way for our employees to know who was coming, when, where they were staying, for how long, etc. This solves all of these issues. It has added the functionality of improving our internal communication to housekeeping staff, security staff, etc. We are excited to utilize the texting feature for more upselling to guests who are on site - letting them know about yoga classes or specials at our restuarants. The ability to email welcome emails, thank you emails as well as text messaging prior to and after check in will really help the properyt as a whole run smoother. there are a number of additional products that can be piggy-backed onto the software. The basic rentworks will do everything a small agency needs. We added EREZ to automate the online reservation system. Still forming an opinion on that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
