“Fast Designs with Canva’s Easy Templates and Included Resources”
What do you like best about Canva?

Canva’s pre-set templates make designing so easy. I get inspiration from the different templates, and all I have to do is add my logo, modify the text, and maybe change the colors to fit my brand. It has helped me create beautiful content very quickly, and it’s very easy to use and understand.

Also I like all the resources that are including on my membership, from stock photos to cute graphic designs, makes every penny worth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

To be honest, there’s nothing I dislike about Canva. It has helped me with so many projects that I’m very familiar with it. The only thing I’d say needs improvement is its AI/intelligence, because it isn’t as good at generating content as other AI chatbots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva helped me solve a lot of communication and branding problems. When I started at this company, it lacked consistency across designs and all the flyers were outdated. Thanks to Canva, I was able to bring harmony to the company’s brand and update the flyers with artistic, beautiful, and professional designs. All with little effort thanks to Canva's performance and tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Intuitive Drag-and-Drop BI with Polished Visuals and Strong Data Source Integration”
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau's drag-and-drop interface is intuitive enough for business users while still being powerful for analysts. It integrates seamlessly with a wide range of data sources — from SQL databases to cloud platforms — which makes it easy to pull in data without heavy engineering support. Performance on large datasets is generally strong, and the visualizations are polished enough to use directly in executive presentations without extra formatting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Pricing is a significant barrier, Tableau's licensing costs can be hard to justify for smaller teams or organizations still building out their data culture. The onboarding curve is steeper than it looks; while the basics are accessible, mastering calculated fields and LOD expressions takes real time. Support resources are decent but can feel generic. Native AI/ML features are still catching up to competitors, and embedding Tableau into external tools requires more technical lift than it should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tableau helps bridge the gap between raw data and business decision-making. Instead of static spreadsheets or ad-hoc reports, it gives stakeholders a single, interactive view of performance metrics they can explore themselves , reducing back-and-forth with the data team. For FinOps and cloud cost reporting specifically, being able to visualize spend trends, anomalies, and forecasts in real time has made it easier to drive accountability across teams. The ROI shows up in faster decisions and fewer hours spent manually compiling reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Power BI: Powerful Microsoft 365 Integration and Great Value BI Tool”
What do you like best about Microsoft Power BI?

One of the aspects I am particularly fond of is the dynamic integration with Fabric, which has greatly improved the way we do data engineering tasks and has allowed implementation to be faster than before due to less complex ETL. The Direct Lake mode is another game-changer for the professionals, providing instant performance on large volumes of data that we process frequently every day during reporting.

The numerous features are impressive too, especially the Copilot for Power BI, which has simplified working with DAX and generating the narrative. In addition to this ease of use, the seamless integration with the M365 ecosystem and robust community and customer support ensure that we can resolve technical hurdles quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?

The Direct Query mode may be considered an absolute necessity for real-time analytics; however, it requires significant effort to improve its effectiveness in a cloud environment such as Snowflake. The main problem with Direct query mode is the delay in visualisation refresh of reports due to extra load in terms of metadata exchange and query transformation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Power BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Power BI was able to completely solve our problem of having “Excel Hell” through the automatic consolidation of data from multiple sources, such as SQL, Salesforce, and local files, into one consolidated database. We were able to save 12 hours per week of data collection because of the automation done by Power BI, which reduced errors by 100% and allowed us to concentrate on doing other things more important than collecting data manually. It was easy for us to adopt Power BI since it seamlessly integrates with Microsoft 365 and has a vast international support network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“All Our Metrics in One Place with a User-Friendly, Easy-to-Navigate Looker UI”
What do you like best about Looker?

My favourite thing in Looker is going to be having all our metrics in single place which has really user friendly user interface and we can easily navigate and filter as per our requirements and it also helps to non technical person for looking for any analysis. I also like about query feature which can be integrated with Bigquery and other Data warehouse and can retrieve any information based on business requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

Only thing that looker has to work on is sometime it feels like their dashboard is not responsive or taking too much time to load respective filters especially when loading large historical data and also each time we need to click on submit icon to get the filtered data which can be automated in future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Looker solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mainly it helps on solving data silos and as recently they integrated LookML in their backend logic, all our data stays in organized and also helps to create data models and relationships with them so that we can just use already defined field without writing complex SQL query which helps to speed up my workflow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Kyvos Makes Asking and Following Up on Data Questions Effortless”
What do you like best about Kyvos Semantic Layer?

The way that Kyvos allows our teams to interact with data is incredible in how simple it is to just ask a question in plain and simple terms, without having to create a lot of detailed reports. The ability to ask follow-up questions while still in the same discussion without having to re-create the earlier context is huge and helps us hurry up how long we would spend creating these types of conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kyvos Semantic Layer?

I think it would be beneficial for more very specific examples of conversational analytics scenarios done as demonstrations to be available to view. Other than that, the process of using Kyvos has been very smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kyvos Semantic Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a lot of very large and complex data sets to look at, and typical BI tools limit our ability to look into the data quickly. We needed a solution to look for insight through conversational analytics that was scalable and that had a good relationship with our business context. Kyvos was by far the best option available after looking through the other choices made available to us. The results have been that our teams have been able to get much quicker insight with greater accuracy through asking questions in the way we would normally ask other people. “Game-Changer for Data-Driven Marketing Teams”
What do you like best about Hurree?

I love that Hurree brings all our data into one easy-to-use dashboard, making it simple to analyze trends, spot issues, and make fast decisions. The AI analyzer gives my team confidence, and the platform’s intuitive design means no coding is required. The support team is proactive and quick to add new connectors, which makes the tool feel like it grows with us. The export feature is fantastic for sharing insights fast, and the in-house AI means our data stays secure. Most importantly, Hurree has made our digital team much more visible in the organization and has directly contributed to measurable improvements, like a 15% spike in web engagement and a 23% growth rate on social, far outpacing competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hurree?

Honestly, there’s not much to dislike. If I had to mention anything, it’s that building out complex dashboards can be a bit involved at first, especially with lots of moving parts like paid and organic social. But the support team makes this process much easier and is always available to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AgencyAnalytics?

Before AgencyAnalytics, I was using other tools like WhatAGraph, but the other tools were not perfect all the time. Since we moved to AgencyAnalytics, things have got better to a great deal.

Reports are easy to design and dashboards are very easy to navigate.

Yesterday, I accidentally deleted a client, and the support person (Leah), restored it within seconds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AgencyAnalytics?

AgencyAnalytics' UI got updated, and the navigation through the tool was difficult for a couple of weeks. Once we got familiar with the new UI, things got better again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AgencyAnalytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my personal opinion, actually reporting to the clients is very easy with AgencyAnalytics. We have built templates for dashboards and reports, and onboarding a new client on AgencyAnalytics can be done in minutes.

For me, AgencyAnalytics' main benefit is "time saving or time management". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Original Information
“Seamless Integration and Unified Features for Advanced Users”
What do you like best about ILUM?

What I appreciate most about ILUM is its Ease of Integration. The platform is built to be open and modular, allowing it to connect seamlessly with the tools we already rely on, such as Airflow, dbt, Jupyter, and various BI tools through JDBC. We didn't have to overhaul our existing workflows; ILUM integrated effortlessly, which meant less hassle during implementation and a much quicker realization of value—something I consider a major advantage.

Another standout aspect is the impressive range of features combined with how easy it is to use. Since ILUM is a unified platform, I can run SQL queries, review data lineage, and launch Spark jobs or notebooks all from a single interface, eliminating the need to constantly switch between different tools. Having that centralized control is incredibly convenient.

The process of implementing ILUM is both straightforward and nuanced, but for the most part, it's simple if you have the right infrastructure in place. Because ILUM is Kubernetes-native and deployed via Helm charts, if you already have a Kubernetes cluster set up, you can get the core components—Spark and the UI—up and running in less than five minutes using a basic Helm command.

Personally, I use ILUM as my main platform nearly every day in my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ILUM?

If I had to nitpick, the initial UI for the truly deep engineering stuff can be a little much for new users, but once you get past the initial setup (which is covered well by Customer Support and training), the daily use is very intuitive. The Interactive Sessions feature is also amazing for cutting down on Spark job startup time, making my day-to-day work way more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ILUM solving and how is that benefiting you?

ILUM solves a few major headaches that were common in the big data world. The main problem is fragmentation—trying to stitch together separate, expensive data lakes and data warehouses, which leads to messy data silos, inconsistent results, and a lot of unnecessary work. Older proprietary systems like Cloudera or Databricks are costly and lock you in. ILUM gets rid of those problems. It's an open-source based Data Lakehouse platform that unifies everything.

For me as a user, this translates to tangible benefits. First, it is much faster. The interactive Spark sessions eliminate those 20-40 second job start times, and processing can be up to twice as fast overall. This means I'm not waiting on the infrastructure; I'm actually doing my job. Second, it's cheaper and more efficient. The platform is zero-license, Kubernetes-native, and runs anywhere (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), which drastically cuts infrastructure costs—we talk about 60% savings for clients. That budget can go to actual development, not just licensing fees. Third, it provides clarity and governance with features like automated Data Lineage and a central Data Catalog, so I can trust the data's quality and know exactly where it's been. In short, it lets me focus on the challenging and valuable work of data science and analytics instead of wrestling with complex, slow, and expensive tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Intuitive Dashboarding with Exceptional Support”
What do you like best about Knowi?

I use Knowi to dashboard ecommerce performance, and it's great because I no longer need to manage manual CSVs across multiple platforms. The dashboarding features are intuitive, making my data easy to consume, saving me a ton of time. I also like the onboarding and support teams—they're always ready to help, especially for API-specific challenges. Onboarding helps me learn the platform quickly, and the support team is prompt in problem-solving any issues, which means I can unblock my progress within a day. Once the API setup and dashboard is running, it doesn't take much maintenance, and it's easy to share. Plus, embedding into Notion automates a ton of reporting, which is a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knowi?

I think there could be more guidance for different types of API connections for popular platforms like Shopify, Google Analytics, and Tableau. It can take time to get everything set up correctly the first time with Knowi's platform and API documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easiest BI Tool: Live Snowflake Data in a Spreadsheet-Like Experience”
What do you like best about Sigma?

It's honestly the easiest BI tool I've used. Feels like a spreadsheet but it's pulling live data straight from Snowflake no extracts, no stale data. Setting up the connection with Snowflake is dead simple too, works with key pair or OAuth so it's quick and secure. We use it for a bunch of things client project dashboards, migration trackers, internal trackers and it handles all of it without any hassle. Anyone can pick it up quickly, no SQL needed. Makes my life a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

What problems is Sigma solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were spending way too much time building one-off reports for people. What do you like best about Coefficient?

It's easy to set up/launch the connection, but I find that a lot of my programmed refreshes aren't actually happening at the cadence I set. ex: I'll visit a file that should be refressehed daily, and it's multiple days old since the last refresh, and when I hit refresh, it hangs awhile, and sometimes errors out. I've set up a lot of coefficients lately, but some of them have just...tired-out or something. I also have noticed that we get emails from you guys saying that we need to re-do or refresh all our coefficients because of an update on your side or something. “Good Balance of Ease-of-Use and Functionality for HR Case Reporting”
What do you like best about Yellowfin BI?

As a first-time user, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I could set up dashboards in Yellowfin. The interface is intuitive, allowing me to explore data and create reports without needing extensive technical skills. What impressed me most was the ease of collaboration—being able to comment and share insights directly within the platform helps keep everyone aligned. While I know there are more advanced features to discover as I continue, the rapid time-to-value and the overall smooth, user-friendly experience have made a strong impression. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yellowfin BI?

As a first-time user, I found a few areas where Yellowfin could be improved. Some of the advanced features were not immediately intuitive, and I needed to spend extra time experimenting to understand how to use them effectively. I also sometimes felt restricted in how much I could customize certain charts and layouts—while it works well out of the box, making detailed adjustments to the appearance isn’t always simple. Overall, it’s a capable tool, but there is definitely a learning curve once you go beyond the basics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Yellowfin BI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Yellowfin BI has enabled us to transform our ELR and Leave Administration case data into clear, actionable insights. “Versatile Tool with Easy Setup and Branding Power”
What do you like best about Visme?

I use Visme to prepare presentations and brochures for my company. One of the features I value most is the ability to store and manage our brand assets, such as logos and fonts, which allows me to create visuals that are fully aligned with our brand guidelines.

I also appreciate the wide range of built-in templates. There are many categories for different content types, including presentations, infographics, and marketing materials, making it easy to find a suitable starting point. The structure and filtering options help me quickly identify layouts I can use as a model.

The initial setup was very straightforward and took only about five minutes, which made it easy to get started right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visme?

I would appreciate a stronger stock image library. When searching for more technical or industry-specific terms, the available image selection is often quite limited and doesn’t fully meet my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Visme solving and how is that benefiting you?

“All-in-One Analytics Powerhouse with Outstanding Support”
What do you like best about Count?

I have switched to Count for all the analysis I run, so I would say I use it on a daily-basis.

With Count, you can have queries, plots, text, reports, and comments all in the same place. I find this extremely valuable, as it effectively makes everything self-documenting: the queries that support the results, the interpretation, and the reviews that were made all live together. Moreover, we can collaborate in real-time on the same canvas, which is amazing.

I really like that Count allows you to create tiles and reference results, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. This helps avoid a lot of code duplication and significantly streamlines query creation. Personally, I think this makes a big difference because it allows me to split complex queries into clearly defined components and then combine their results as needed.

When using other tools, I sometimes felt constrained by the lack of flexible filtering, which was often managed at the organization level and pushed me toward hacky solutions. With Count, control cells make it easy to implement the exact filters you need, giving you a lot of freedom and power to build very flexible dashboards.

Finally, I think the Count support team is excellent. They are consistently helpful, whether I’m stuck or just looking for best practices to implement something in the tool. They either provide a solution or take note of the feedback to improve the product. A good example is the recent addition of support for different scales in facet plots, which addressed a limitation I personally encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Regarding areas for improvement, I do have a few ideas.

I think the construction of frames could live in a separate canvas, similar to how Tableau approaches dashboards. This would offer the best of both worlds: plots would remain close to the queries that generate their data, while still allowing the creation of a dedicated dashboard that brings everything together.

There are also some smaller usability issues that can make the interface feel unintuitive at times. For example, when creating custom plots, individual marks cannot be named, which makes it harder to understand what each mark represents. Similarly, when multiple marks are used, it’s not always clear which variable is assigned to the secondary axis.

Some solutions also feel a bit hacky—for instance, adding vertical lines to indicate events by using bar plots, where it’s not always obvious how to control the bar width cleanly.

Overall, these are relatively minor points. They don’t slow me down in my day-to-day work, and I see them more as a wishlist than as real blockers. As with any tool, there is always room for improvement—but Count is already a superb product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Count solving and how is that benefiting you?

Count solves the problem of fragmented analytics workflows by bringing queries, plots, text, and reviews into a single place, which makes analyses naturally self-documenting. This benefits me because I can always trace results back to their underlying logic and interpretation without losing context. It also addresses code duplication by allowing results to be referenced across tiles, in a way that feels similar to a DAG in dbt. As a result, I can break complex queries into clear, reusable components and iterate much faster.

Count also solves the rigidity of traditional dashboards by giving you control cells to define filters directly in the analysis. This gives me far more flexibility than organization-level filters and avoids the need for hacky workarounds. Another key problem it solves is reviewability: comments, interpretations, and feedback live right next to the data. That makes collaboration easier and decisions easier to justify.

Finally, Count reduces the risk of getting stuck with tool limitations thanks to a very responsive support team. Knowing that feedback is heard and often translated into product improvements makes me confident in relying on Count for my day-to-day analytical work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
