One minor frustration I have is when managing families—for example, a parent with dependents. After working on a profile, returning to my previous filtered list isn’t seamless, as I’m taken back to the full client list instead. When we opened our CrossFit box, we chose Wodify based on strong recommendations from other gym owners. From the start, we found it easy to implement and well-suited to running a busy facility. Over time, they’ve continued to add useful features and keep up with new technologies, such as 24/7 access management, which has helped streamline our operations. The only thing I dont like about the system is that I would like a means of seperating the clients into which packages or memberships they are under on the clients section of the site, rather than going into the membership/package sections. It would just make it easier for me to see at a glance. Ie if someone buys a day pass its not as instrumental to my business as the memberships so I ideally would like to be able to filter them out to see quickly how many members I currently have. I recently came across an AI-based system that uses cameras to detect when someone lets an unscanned person enter from outside. Gym Insight doesn’t support it yet, but I’d really like to have this kind of technology at my gym, especially since we’re open 24 hours a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was using Mindbody and Kisi, but a lot of members kept losing access, and it turned into a complete nightmare. Their support team was poor at communicating, and even when we managed to reach them, they were slow and unhelpful. Then I found Gym Insight, and they guided me through the entire transfer process. Before, keeping track of who was actually coming to class meant messy manual rosters and I'd often walk in not really knowing how many has booked for the session. Vibefam put all of that in one place. I see bookings live, check people in on the spot, and the automated reminders cut down the no-shows. I definitely don’t get all the amazing features on the app as they have in the web version, such as, the app only give me one week (current week) class info, whereas thecweb version allows me to access all past and future classes attendance and info. Initially, TeamUp was lacking with their reports and lifetime client features. I had to create programs to get the information I needed about my client’s lifecycles, churn rate, lifetime value, etc.

But that has changed! TeamUp seems to listen to customer feedback, and they added these features that are very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most recently, adding the CRM feature has helped identify the clients that need the most attention. But they also have a very easy customer portal, so clients can manage their schedule and payment methods. Having the option of hiding people from the schedule is appreciated - my more tech savvy members view the timetable themselves to check when they are booked if they ever have any issues, whereas with most I just instruct / organise their timings and enter the details myself. One area I wish was improved within Mindbody is the visibility of internal client notes. As a studio, we like to keep all member-related communication and operational notes in one centralized place for efficiency and team communication. However, at times these notes may include sensitive operational details such as billing issues, account concerns, or internal follow-up items that are not intended for client viewing prior to us addressing them directly in person or over the phone.

Having the ability to separate internal staff notes from client-visible notes would create a more professional experience for both staff and members while still allowing teams to stay organized within one system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In the beginning, the platform was a little hard to understand. There are also some areas for technological improvement and colors that could be better. I think the merchant teams could be a bit more advanced in terms of their admin capabilities. Even though they get back to us quickly, there's always room to grow in making the platform easier to understand. They send a lot of emails, which could be streamlined. Push Press GROW has been a net negative for my business.

The default workflows are poorly designed and have caused me repeated headaches and damaged my brand. I have lost sales because I trusted their default workflows. You can't trust their "out of the box" workflows.

Since the default workflows aren't very good you are better off making your own workflows from scratch and saving yourself some money.

The email marketing widget is weak. They don't even use it themselves for their email marketing. For example you can't embed more than one link into an email using the email marketing widget in GROW.

Lastly, while it's getting better CORE & GROW are not integrated particularly well.

In CORE my gross revenue figure shouldn't include sales tax collected. If you're in a jurisdiction that includes a sales tax their financial reports aren't as helpful since you need to go digging to find the "real" numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about Omnify is that some customization options feel limited, especially when trying to tailor the booking pages or reports to specific needs. Occasionally, the system can be a bit slow or requires a few extra steps to complete certain tasks. However, these are minor issues compared to the overall convenience it provides.
