I'm having technical difficulties with sending my member's email or payment link through PushPress, and it took a while for Jason and his team to get back to me, though they did resolve it eventually. I use WellnessLiving to manage appointments through text and email. It's available online with a website and app, allowing clients to book and manage appointments themselves. It's a heavy software that is hard to understand, and sometimes the features don't do what you would expect it to do based on what it says. It also doesn't seem to be built in a way that has minor athletes in mind. We understand that they are working on solving a challenge where parents cannot see subscription info for a dependent, as well as billing info for the dependent. I definitely don’t get all the amazing features on the app as they have in the web version, such as, the app only give me one week (current week) class info, whereas thecweb version allows me to access all past and future classes attendance and info. I wish there was an easy way to show reporting on attendance class numbers and being able to display this in a graph would be REALLY helpful; the same also for revenue so I can see attendance/revenue trends over a 12 month period.

Having the option of hiding people from the schedule is appreciated - my more tech savvy members view the timetable themselves to check when they are booked if they ever have any issues, whereas with most I just instruct / organise their timings and enter the details myself. The add-on features in Gymflow are currently lacking. I would like them to be more developed because they are crucial for our operations, particularly for creating specific membership add-ons such as 24 hour access. Although this improvement is in the pipeline, it's currently a limitation that I'm willing to wait to be addressed. Some features in Mindbody seem outdated and often require too many steps to accomplish basic tasks. Certain settings are not very intuitive, which can make onboarding new staff slower than it should be. I also find it limiting that Mindbody only allows a single liability waiver per client at their first visit; it would be much more helpful if multiple waivers could be assigned for different services, especially for studios offering a variety of options. Additionally, the forms and waivers could be improved to be more dynamic and user-friendly, rather than depending mainly on uploaded documents. Over-Promised and Under-Delivered:

The sales team promised a lot that the software just couldn’t deliver for our business model. There was a huge disconnect between what was promised and what actually worked, which was really frustrating.

Way Too Complicated:

The interface was a nightmare. There were way too many tabs, buttons, and options that made it hard to do anything simple, like sending an invoice. We were constantly on support calls because we couldn't figure things out on our own.

No User Agreement and Lack of Transparency:

We didn’t ask for a user agreement upfront, and that turned out to be a big mistake. We paid for the service, and then had trouble getting any clarity about the terms, especially when we wanted to cancel or ask for a refund.
