There are A LOT of options on the back end so learning and identifying what works best for you takes some time. There is upside to this too though. Its a CRM, POS system, and program organizer all in one. Other programs/software make you "add on" (ala carte) extra features in order to achieve what WODIFY gives you at baseline. Although not a primary component of Gym Insights services, the door access control system has been a bit tricky to navigate. My hope is that there would be a network of trained professionals in each market to serve as the installer and/or liaison between customer A and Gym Insight. Navigating the reporting system and KPI's that are crucial to the success of the business. Oh that intercom can be tricky! Sometimes we have issues in the evening or weekend so we have to wait for staff. You have to type out your issue and hope it makes sense (sometimes there’s a back and forth to explain the answer). And sometimes you ask your question and have to wait several hours and then a PP person responds but then you’re busy. Sometimes the response is I’ll work on that for you and get back to you - what does that mean? When?

There’s no titles or tracking in the intercom so if you want to revisit a question you’ve asked about, it’s impossible to find. It would be great if could put a subject line on the intercom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a heavy software that is hard to understand, and sometimes the features don't do what you would expect it to do based on what it says. It also doesn't seem to be built in a way that has minor athletes in mind. For example, there is no way to have a parent sign a waiver for the student in a way that ensures the parent is signing the waiver on behalf of the child. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We understand that they are working on solving a challenge where parents cannot see subscription info for a dependent, as well as billing info for the dependent. I definitely don’t get all the amazing features on the app as they have in the web version, such as, the app only give me one week (current week) class info, whereas thecweb version allows me to access all past and future classes attendance and info. wo small areas for improvement:

System emails currently send from a “no-reply@gymflow.io

” address unless you configure a branded sender domain via DNS. This is workable (we include our own contact details in the email body), but branded sending would feel more polished out of the box.

The Access setup concepts (Membership Access Group vs Facility/Booking Access) are powerful but can be slightly confusing on first setup. A bit more in-app guidance/tooltips or a clearer “recommended configuration” wizard for common setups (members 24/7 + booking-based access for non-members) would make onboarding even faster.

We needed a single system to manage leisure memberships for a gym + pool (within a hospitality/resort operation), including: member records, renewals/billing, booking-based access (e.g., pay-per-session pool bookings), and automated door/turnstile entry control.

Gymflow is solving the “admin + access control” gap: instead of manually checking membership status and granting access at reception, we can link memberships and bookings to access groups so the right people get access at the right time. This reduces front desk workload, improves control/compliance, and provides a better member experience (self-service activation, account management, and booking workflow). I wish there was an easy way to show reporting on attendance class numbers and being able to display this in a graph would be REALLY helpful; the same also for revenue so I can see attendance/revenue trends over a 12 month period.

Having the option of hiding people from the schedule is appreciated - my more tech savvy members view the timetable themselves to check when they are booked if they ever have any issues, whereas with most I just instruct / organise their timings and enter the details myself. There are some reports that we cannot produce, like specific reports about total clients with assessments. It's also a little bit hard to reschedule appointments. The process requires choosing the schedule and dragging it to a precise date, rather than just typing in the date and time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about Omnify is that some customization options feel limited, especially when trying to tailor the booking pages or reports to specific needs. Occasionally, the system can be a bit slow or requires a few extra steps to complete certain tasks. However, these are minor issues compared to the overall convenience it provides. Over-Promised and Under-Delivered:

The sales team promised a lot that the software just couldn’t deliver for our business model. There was a huge disconnect between what was promised and what actually worked, which was really frustrating.

Way Too Complicated:

The interface was a nightmare. There were way too many tabs, buttons, and options that made it hard to do anything simple, like sending an invoice. We were constantly on support calls because we couldn't figure things out on our own.

No User Agreement and Lack of Transparency:

We didn’t ask for a user agreement upfront, and that turned out to be a big mistake. We paid for the service, and then had trouble getting any clarity about the terms, especially when we wanted to cancel or ask for a refund.
