"Managing design work smoothly while keeping projects on track"
What do you like best about Wrike?

I use Wrike mainly for project and task management, especially for organizing design and coordinating with teammates. It's great for keeping deadlines, priorities, and feedback in one place, ensuring nothing gets lost. I find it very reliable with no downtime, which is essential for tracking progress and staying aligned across multiple projects. What I like most about Wrike is the custom workflows feature. Being able to tailor-fit task statuses to match how our team actually works makes progress tracking much clearer and more realistic. I also appreciate the task-level commenting and file versioning, which keeps feedback organized and tied directly to the work. The app's smooth performance on my Mac and its ability to prevent missed deadlines by providing better visibility into priorities and workload are really helpful. The initial setup was made easy by our IT team, and I find the UX intuitive, which makes navigation seamless. Support is always top-notch by being able to work with our IT team to resolve the issues. What do you dislike about Wrike?

The search functionality can be frustrating sometimes, especially when trying to find older tasks or specific comments in larger projects. Results are not always intuitive, and it often takes usage of advanced filters in order to locate what you needed. This can slow things down when you are working in a fast-paced environment. "Wrike Gives Great Visibility Across Projects, Tasks, and Team Workloads"
What do you like best about Wrike?

What I like most about Wrike is the visibility it gives me across projects, tasks, and my team’s workload—all in one place. The dashboards, reports, and task updates help me stay organized, follow progress more quickly, and keep team coordination running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

What I dislike most is that some views and automations feel less intuitive than I’d expect, especially when I’m managing multiple spaces or trying to centralize control. As a result, both the initial setup and ongoing administration can take more time than necessary. It would be helpful to have simpler cross-space reporting, along with more flexible automation triggers to make managing everything across spaces smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overall, I would strongly discourage others from using Wrike. 0/10 — would not recommend."
What do you like best about Wrike?

I can't really think of anything positive about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is not very user-friendly, and its project structure doesn’t effectively support practical project management. The calendar views are difficult to navigate, customization tools can stop working unexpectedly, tagging projects is cumbersome, and there are no pre-built sections or tags for tracking budgets.

After struggling with Wrike for the past year, our team decided to switch to Asana, which is significantly easier to use and more effective for project management overall. When we informed Wrike of our decision, we were told that we were outside the 30-day cancellation window and had been automatically renewed for another year. Rather than showing any flexibility, they enforced a full 12-month commitment.

This approach feels like poor business practice. If a customer wants to leave because the product no longer meets their needs, they should be allowed to do so—rather than being locked into a contract against their will. Once our contract ends, I can confidently say we will not work with Wrike again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We’re really sorry Wrike ended up making things harder for your team instead of easier. We understand that different teams have different needs and ways of working, and we’re sorry Wrike wasn’t the right fit for yours.

It’s especially disheartening to hear that the renewal process added even more stress when you’d already decided the product wasn’t the right fit.

That’s not the experience we want anyone to have, and we appreciate you calling it out so clearly. While we’re sorry to hear you’re moving on, your feedback matters and helps show us where we need to do better, both in the product and in how we work with customers.

Thanks again for sharing this openly.

"Great for Task Management, Needs Better Visualization"
What do you like best about Wrike?

I find Wrike's features very good, especially the ability to create sub-tasks and assign labels. This makes things very visual and helps when a task is bigger, with multiple developers working on it. We can create sub-tasks and tackle them one by one, and assign a single sub-task to multiple developers. It's very useful for teamwork. Additionally, I appreciate that the initial setup of Wrike was very easy and we can use it easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I think it would be nice if Wrike had card views, so we could create some cards and have one dashboard to arrange all the cards based on the category or something. That needs to be updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very customizable tool with good features fpr project management but also some lack of features"
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike introduces new features constantly. Especially for admins ther have been a lot of new reporting possibilities for big acounts which help a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The support becomes worth in the community. They exchanged the support team. The old one was experienced. The new one is ok, but not as good as the old one. Cost cut? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great communication tool"
What do you like best about Wrike?

Overall, we have been using it to integrate with Slack and we have found to help our organization's workflow to help tasks staying up to date. We use it to integrate with other tools as well. It create tasks when it finds errors on the websites we are working on from minor errors to critical errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

There isn't much from my perspective. Since we have used it to integrate with other applications we use, we have found that our company is getting more out of the subscription.

One minor complaint is seat allocation. Especially with allowing clients into the Wrike board to view tasks and progress. We have to be really selective with the seats allowed, which is fine, but sometimes it is a bit limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Project Management and Team Collaboration with Wrike"
What do you like best about Wrike?

One of the newer things I really appreciate about Wrike is how much more intuitive and polished the interface feels. Navigation is smoother, dashboards are more customizable, and it’s much easier to tailor views to what different team members actually need to see. The improved dashboards and reporting capabilities have made it simple to track KPIs and project health in real time without having to export data elsewhere.

I’ve also been impressed with the continued enhancements to automation and workflow management. Setting up rules to automatically assign tasks, update statuses, or trigger notifications has significantly reduced manual work for our team. It helps standardize processes and keeps projects moving without constant oversight.

Additionally, the collaboration features keep getting better. The ability to comment directly within tasks, tag teammates, and share files in context really cuts down on long email threads and keeps communication centralized. Overall, the recent updates have made Wrike feel more streamlined, smarter, and more aligned with how modern teams work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I’d say the onboarding experience can feel a bit overwhelming at first. The platform is extremely powerful, but that also means there’s a learning curve especially when you start working with complex automations, custom fields, and advanced workflows. It takes time (and sometimes trial and error) to fully understand how everything connects.

Another area for improvement is the mobile app. It works well for basic task management and quick updates, but it doesn’t yet offer the full depth of features available on the desktop version. For teams that rely heavily on mobile access, having more parity between desktop and mobile would make a big difference.

That said, once you get past the initial setup phase, Wrike becomes a very robust and flexible project management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that Wrike’s intuitive interface, custom workflows, and real-time collaboration features have helped your team centralize project planning and improve communication. It’s great to know that these tools are making it easier to manage multiple projects and keep everyone aligned.

We appreciate your feedback about the learning curve and the differences between the mobile and desktop experiences. Wrike is a robust platform, and we understand that setting up advanced automations or custom fields can take some time to master. To help with onboarding, we offer interactive tutorials, webinars, and a comprehensive Help Center. If your team would benefit from tailored training or best practices, we’re happy to connect you with additional resources.

Regarding the mobile app, we’re continuously working to enhance its capabilities and bring more advanced features to mobile users. Your input is valuable and helps us prioritize future improvements.

Thank you again for sharing how Wrike has streamlined your project management and team collaboration. If you have any questions or need support with specific features, please let us know—we’re here to help you get the most out of Wrike!

"So many competitors and nothing differentiating it"
What do you like best about Wrike?

Everybody is just putting in AI features that aren't really necessary. Still feel like the previous answer was good (Wrike does a lot of things decently that I would want but nothing I can't find elsewhere). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

AI. For SMB, it doesn't really make sense to use a generic white-labelled product versus generating and creating a custom environment unique to my needs. Feels like Software is moving so quickly and SaaS platforms are slow and falling behind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wrike changes the Project Management game!"
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike feels like a complete package when it comes to project management and work collaboration tools. On top of that, it’s by far one of the most leading-edge options in terms of AI and innovation, helping revolutionize how we work every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Adoption can be a challenge without a strong champion team; however, Wrike offers innumerable ways to support your team, including training, webinars, and courses that help you build an approach that fits your unique situation. In my experience, the challenge is more often in the process than in the system—this is true for all platforms—but their dedication to a customer-first mentality makes them stand well above the rest. "Flexible Yet Complex for SEO Project Management"
What do you like best about Wrike?

I like Wrike for the flexibility it offers in structuring workflows exactly how we need them. The custom request forms are great for standardizing incoming work, ensuring we all get the necessary information. I appreciate clear task ownership as it removes confusion over who is responsible for what. Visibility across teams is another aspect I enjoy, as it enhances cross-team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The UI can feel heavy on huge projects, and reporting isn't always as flexible as I'd want. The setup took some time, and there's a steep learning curve compared to simpler PM software tools like Asana. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
