It is an intuitive platform that employees find easy to navigate. **What do you dislike about Frontline Education?** We have been using the Absence Management portion of Frontline for a few years now and have not really experienced a down side. **What problems is Frontline Education solving and how is that benefiting you?** The approval process for tracking employee absences is very smooth with Frontline Absence Management. Our district has transitioned from using paper timesheets to a user-friendly interface that efficiently records different types of employee absences. The workflow allows supervisors and administrative assistants responsible for department or school absences to easily approve and document anticipated absences. ### 8. I can always speak directly with a human. **What problems is Frontline Education solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Frontline for a variety of recording keeping, from time logging to sensitive student data. Frontline typically responds to issues the same day and has limited downtime. The interfaces are all easy enough to use, though I will a few menus were more intuitive. It is secure and has a fingerprint option for kiosk devices. For clock-in, it allows the district to set it up so that employees must be on-site to clock in even when using the mobile app. However, absences can be created offsite and it is easy to do. It is easy to manipulate the page and complete the task quickly. We had a previous system that was not as user friendly so it gave me new appreciation for Frontline. **What do you dislike about Frontline Education?** I gave been using Frontline for the last 5 or so years. I have not found anything wrong with the system. Whenever I need a sick day, am going to a conference, or need off for something else, we use Frontline to put in for a day off and get a substitute teacher. **What do you like best about Frontline Education?** I like that you can look back and see how many days you have used within the calendar year in real time. Our district system for payroll keeps tabs on our sick days but it is not always updated, whereas Frontline is updated as you use days or as the school secretary blocks you out for conferences, bereavement, or jury duty. **What do you dislike about Frontline Education?** I don't like the mobile portion of the site. I think it's a lot less user friendly than the desktop version and shows the consumer a lot less information. It's much easier to use the desktop version on a phone than to use the mobile version on a phone. **Recommendations to others considering Frontline Education:** Switch from mobile to desktop on your phone for easier and faster call-offs. Have any notes or attachments ready to go when you login so it doesn't take long to request off or call off for the day. **What problems is Frontline Education solving and how is that benefiting you?** Frontline keeps my time off organized so I know exactly how many days I've used versus what I have left in any given school year. Because it also shows days off for other things it makes knowing how much time I've used as well as when there is a day off coming up very easy to see and prepare for. I'm also able to choose subs I want in my classroom and leave them notes which is very helpful as a teacher to communicate with a substitute ahead of time and make sure they are prepared for class. ### 17. All reports can be archived abs accessed. **What do you dislike about Frontline Education?** No visible help desk number for assistance. Frontline can be confusing until you get the hang of it. **Recommendations to others considering Frontline Education:** Don't be afraid to reach out to those with experience with Frontline. Use to we would have to know the subs numbers etc. Now I can go in and anybody can click to sub my class. I can still assign someone if I wanted to, but right now with shortages it’s great. We have also found some great subs through them! **What do you dislike about Frontline Education?** I don’t like how when I delete a scheduled absence it still shows as the sub coming in. Also, sometimes I can’t find the subs I like and they’re not schedule for anyone else’s class. **Recommendations to others considering Frontline Education:** My advice is to make sure you look to see who is coming to sub in your classroom! **What problems is Frontline Education solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am finding great people to replace me in the classroom! ### 36. I also can’t turn of phone call notifications for jobs without blocking potential employers, but I get calls for days I’ve already taken jobs. **What problems is Frontline Education solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving the problem of me not having a job! ### 37. I like having a platform that functions for multiple uses, it makes it easier for employees. It stores information over the years so I do not have to. **What do you dislike about Frontline Education?** Nothing it's easy to use and well laid out. No tutorials needed. Limited selections available so it's easy to navigate. Has a forgot my password feature and help area if needed **Recommendations to others considering Frontline Education:** Try it out makes it easier for your employees, easy to use platform **What problems is Frontline Education solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefits are clear in it streamlines multiple uses for educators. It allows use to log in and upload important school materials such as observation and annual documentation.
