# Which influencer marketing platforms are worth using for teams that need solid workflow without paying for expensive implementation or consulting?

I'm looking into which influencer marketing platforms give a team a real workflow without a heavy implementation or consulting bill on top of the license. Since paying for onboarding services to make a tool usable isn’t a thing, I'm focused on the ones built to stand up on their own, the kind that tend to win with smaller teams.

Here's how the more accessible options are structured in terms of cost of entry and setup:

joinbrands: Built as a pay-as-you-go marketplace with no subscription required to start, so a team gets a working UGC and creator workflow without committing to a platform fee or an implementation phase.

Afluencer: Structured with a free entry point and self-serve creator matching, so the workflow is usable from day one without a paid setup or consulting engagement to unlock it.

Influencity: Hands-on support is included rather than sold as a separate service, so onboarding is handled without an added fee, and reviewers point to it helping optimize a limited budget rather than stretching it.

Later Influence: Setup runs through included guided calls rather than a paid implementation package, so a team gets a structured campaign workflow without buying professional services to configure it.

I’d be wary of any platform that needs a consulting package just to become usable. For a lean team, a self-serve setup with included onboarding usually matters more than having every advanced feature on day one.
