"A powerful tool for Project Management"
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike is a robust work management platform. The things I like about wrike are it is highly customisable. It’s a powerful task management tool. It has real time collaboration.

Wrike is a powerful solution for managing complex projects and enhancing team collaboration. If your team needs detailed oversight and you’re willing to invest the time to learn the system, Wrike can be a game-changer. However, smaller teams or those with simpler needs may find it more than they require. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is powerful, but not without drawbacks. Its steep learning curve and cluttered interface can be overwhelming for new users. The platform’s best features are locked behind expensive premium plans, making it less ideal for small teams. Offline access is limited, and the mobile app lacks the functionality of the desktop version. Users may also experience performance issues with large projects and excessive notifications if not carefully managed. While Wrike excels in customization and collaboration, these downsides can impact productivity and user satisfaction—especially for teams that need a simpler, more intuitive project management solution right out of the box. Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for such a thorough and insightful review! It’s clear you’ve really explored what Wrike has to offer, and your feedback captures both the strengths and the challenges of the platform.

I’m glad to hear that Wrike’s flexibility, real-time collaboration, and robust task management have made a positive impact on your team’s ability to handle demanding projects. You’re absolutely right—when you need detailed oversight and are willing to invest the time to learn the system, Wrike can truly be a game-changer. Centralizing tasks, timelines, and communication in one place can make a huge difference in reducing chaos and keeping everyone accountable.

You also raise some important points about the learning curve, the interface being a bit crowded, and the limitations for smaller teams or those on a tighter budget. We know Wrike can feel a bit overwhelming at first, and we’re always working to make the experience more intuitive and accessible—whether that’s through better onboarding, more affordable plans, or improvements to the mobile app and offline access. Your feedback about performance and notification management is especially helpful, and I’ll be sure to pass it along to our product team.

Thank you again for sharing your honest experience and for highlighting both what’s working and where we can do better. If you ever want tips on simplifying your setup, managing notifications, or making Wrike work even better for your team, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help you get the most out of the platform!

"Overall, I would strongly discourage others from using Wrike. 0/10 — would not recommend."
What do you like best about Wrike?

I can't really think of anything positive about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is not very user-friendly, and its project structure doesn’t effectively support practical project management. The calendar views are difficult to navigate, customization tools can stop working unexpectedly, tagging projects is cumbersome, and there are no pre-built sections or tags for tracking budgets.

After struggling with Wrike for the past year, our team decided to switch to Asana, which is significantly easier to use and more effective for project management overall. When we informed Wrike of our decision, we were told that we were outside the 30-day cancellation window and had been automatically renewed for another year. Rather than showing any flexibility, they enforced a full 12-month commitment.

This approach feels like poor business practice. If a customer wants to leave because the product no longer meets their needs, they should be allowed to do so—rather than being locked into a contract against their will. Once our contract ends, I can confidently say we will not work with Wrike again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We’re really sorry Wrike ended up making things harder for your team instead of easier. We understand that different teams have different needs and ways of working, and we’re sorry Wrike wasn’t the right fit for yours.

It’s especially disheartening to hear that the renewal process added even more stress when you’d already decided the product wasn’t the right fit.

That’s not the experience we want anyone to have, and we appreciate you calling it out so clearly. While we’re sorry to hear you’re moving on, your feedback matters and helps show us where we need to do better, both in the product and in how we work with customers.

Thanks again for sharing this openly.
