"Visual Studio Code (for nearly everything)"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is a very good text editor. I have used it for Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, Flutter/Dart, and several other languages. The editor is attractive and performs well. There are a ton of available plugins. I can install it on Linux, Windows, and MacOS and use it wherever needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I honestly think that most of the things I don't like are probably just me not having taken the time to adjust settings or learn how something works. Occasionally an update breaks the coloring of one of my favorite themes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A complete IDE for modern developers"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Highly customizable and supports multiple languages, you can develop in Python, Java, Rust, or any programming language. Easy to master, this tool makes me highly productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Not anything more significant, the debugging windows are a bit difficult to follow for beginners, and working with multiple windows is sometimes confusing. Otherwise, it is a fantastic tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Just an average IDE"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It continuously checks for errors while writing your code.

It has a simple UI and looks great.

It has a really good feature, autosave which others might not offer with such perfection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It does not come with a free plan therefore, one cannot have its feel without actually buying it.

It does not have a built-in code formatter.

It sometimes crashes when you use it for a long time which is quite frustrating.

Its plan pricing is also on a higher side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Visual studio code it's the faster code editor to program and edit files.

It can be used as IDE, just adding some extensions.

You can program in many programming languages, such as PHP C#. Javascript, Python, and so on.

Nothing to dislike; if some bug appears, report it, and in the next release, there are no bugs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
