"All in One Code Editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

As a web developer, visual studio code is one of the essential code editors to have, which supports development operations like debugging, task running, and version control. It has a rich set of extensions that makes a developer work easy. Talking about its extensions like Prettier, Bracket Pair Colorizer, CSS Peek, Live Server, etc., adds a lot of extra features to the code editor. So we don't have to use any other tools to perform specific actions. All are integrated as extensions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

As a developer, I'm happy with visual studio code. There is nothing that I have noticed to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great to work for web development but for java not recommended"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

What I like about this is that it supports multiple languages and provides a good environment. The extensions we can install, which are created by many developers, also add a lot of value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The only downside is that it's not equally effective for all programming languages. For example, while it does support Java, its performance with Java isn't as strong as what you get with IntelliJ IDEA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
