"Visual Studio Code Review"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is clean and neat for coding and stuff. It was not my thing previously when I tried using it and it was my favorite and best. Its provides a easy way of organizing the whole package of code in a simpler way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The only thing which I don't like is it is heavy to install the setup. And for me, it was a little not user-friendly for installing the extensions and uninstalling them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Light and Simple Code Editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It has multi-language support (need to install the respective plugin), and it is easy to get started. It's lightweight and doesn't come with all the bloat that one would expect from other IDEs. Support for remote development is also lovely. I like being able to open a terminal and navigate on the server and run my code in the same window. It greatly streamlines my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There isn't much to dislike about this application. Maybe one complaint is the support for Jupyter notebooks is still a bit lacking and under development. I understand it's an IDE first and notebooks are a different flavor of coding so to speak, but having this be a one stop shop kind of tool would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very easy to use Code Editor with many extensions!"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The User Interface of the Visual Studio code is beautiful and easy to use. There are many preferences to adjust from the display type to the color of the code to write. Apart from that. there are many extensions to add to the VS code hence making it the best code editor in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There is only one thing that should be added in the VS code i.e. to directly push the code from the editor to Github platform, which will make code collaboration more easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VS Code for every Code..."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The thing which I like most about VS code is its vast support for hundreds of languages. No need for additional IDE is required. I can code different languages with one IDE, and that's a great thing. Ample of extensions available for different type of use cases.

Linking of functions or procedures to their defination is a great addon feature.

User friendly user interface.

Intgeration with git, so that its easy to work along with the remote repositories and local repositories.

Excellent customization available for different views and working editor environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I have been using visual studio code since I started coding in the industry, and I haven't come across any severe thing which will add up something in the dislike list of VS code.

Sometimes it do eat up lot of ram memory during usage of VS code.

Debugging can be simplified .

Sometimes loading third party plugins crashes the VS code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
