I’ve had a similar take on Scalenut. The keyword clustering is definitely helpful from an SEO and relevance standpoint, but I would not really call that personalization on its own. It helps you organize content around search intent, which is useful, but that is different from actually tailoring the message for different audience types or stages. So it can help with relevance, but I do not think it solves personalization in the fuller sense.

We saw diminishing returns with personalization. At some point, creating too many variations can get hard to manage and doesn’t always improve performance. Curious if others had the same experience.

We’ve seen the most value from AI personalization in emails, mainly because you can segment audiences clearly and test variations quickly. Ads and blogs benefit too, but email feels the most measurable.

In practice, a lot of “personalized” content ends up being lightly segmented rather than deeply tailored. The tools help, but the strategy still needs to be solid. They work well for blogs because we can feed the ICP to the AI tool, and it remains static most of the time.

I came across this resource on Best Marketing Automation Software. Combining AI content platforms with automation tools can really enhance personalization by ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time. Thought this could be a useful read for anyone exploring this space.
