## Trello Reviews
 ### 1. Trello Makes Kanban Task Tracking and Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Trello is a very useful tool for managing tasks in a Kanban style. It makes it super easy to see progress and keep track of a project. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, and there are also a lot of features that support collaboration. What I like most is the ability to drag and drop tasks from one list to another, and quickly assign priorities, due dates, and project members.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Trello is great for managing simple projects, but if you need to handle large, complex projects with strong dependencies between tasks, it’s not the best choice. It doesn’t really support a robust task hierarchy, which makes it harder to organize and track work at that level of complexity.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello helped us speed up task management and assignments for low-complexity projects. We saved a lot of time by using Trello instead of other complex project management tools.

 ### 2. Trello Makes Task Tracking and Prioritization Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugo H. | Senior customer experience advocate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I mainly use Trello to manage my pending tasks. My boss used to create columns for each team member so we could properly track and follow up on items.

I also use it to keep my work up to date and to see what’s coming up next by separating tasks by priority.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I dislike that Trello doesn’t integrate with Zendesk.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I multitask a lot, and I’ve primarily used Trello to remind me of tasks, show me what I need to prioritize, and help ensure I stay organized.

 ### 3. Really Simple to Get Started, with Powerful Integrations and options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Customer Success Manager (Au/NZ), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Really simple to get started - powerful integrations and other features if you need them

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Generally it is very good - if i have to criticize anything it'd be the search which defaults to search across all boards when i often only want to search within the board that I'm currently viewing

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replaces a bunch of different notes and documents with a simple, always available systematic way to maintain lists, notes, tasks etc with cross references and links to relevant documents or tickets in other systems. Works on the movewith mobile view so I am never without my notes.

 ### 4. Beginner-Friendly Project Management That Scales with Your Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connie S. | Owner/Operator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

It’s one of the best beginner-friendly project management tools. You can use it for simple tracking or for more complex workflows as your needs grow. I wouldn’t use it for highly technical project management, but overall it’s an excellent tool.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

The dashboard could be a bit easier to use, especially when using Trello in the same account across multiple organizations.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can manage all my projects across multiple organizations, and it’s easy to use. It’s also easy to invite outside people, and the whole setup is simple to understand.

 ### 5. Increase your productivity and business collaboration with Trello's virtual work tools.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Trello is one of my favorite virtual work programs for teamwork with all departments in my organization, improving the management of my work processes and increasing productivity rates in all my technical operations.

I can also say that Trello stands out for its customer service, attending to all its users' requirements and allowing the customization of their entire digital experience.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I have nothing bad to say about Trello's virtual work functions and tools, I think it is a program that has no flaws or errors in its operation and I recommend using all its digital resources.

 ### 6. Trello Helps Me Stay Organized With My Daily Work Tasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Joy T. | Administrative Assistant, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I use Trello every day in my work as a Virtual Assistant / Administrative Support to organize my tasks and track my progress. I usually create boards for different projects or clients, then add cards for daily tasks like data entry, updating documents, following up on requests, and monitoring ongoing work.

I really like using checklists inside cards because it helps me break tasks into smaller steps. I also use due dates and labels to manage priorities and make sure deadlines are met. The drag-and-drop feature makes it easy to move tasks as I work, so I always know what still needs to be done.

Overall, Trello helps me stay organized, focused, and on track throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Some features like advanced automation and reporting are only available on paid plans. It would be nice to have more flexibility in the free version, but for my daily work needs, Trello still does a good job.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello helps me manage my workload and avoid missing tasks or deadlines. Before using it, it was harder to keep track of everything, especially when handling multiple tasks at once. Now, I can clearly see my priorities, monitor progress, and complete tasks more efficiently in a professional work setup.

 ### 7. Simple, User-Friendly, and Quick Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I love that Trello's simplicity makes it easy for me to manage tasks for ecommerce store updates. The UI is very user-friendly, and the features are exactly what I need to get my work done efficiently. I can quickly find every feature I need, and I appreciate the ability to expand Trello's functionality with Power-Ups if necessary. The initial setup is very easy, with a quick tutorial that gets me up and running on my first board in less than two minutes.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Nothing so far.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello automates task requests for store updates, streamlining work with its Kanban framework. I appreciate the simplicity and user-friendly UI, which provides necessary features and expandable functionality with PowerUps.

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I love the organization of the boards and how easy it is to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I have to remember it's there sometimes, though that's more on me. I would love to figure out a way to have it send notifications to my phone or emails reminding me of projects that I'm working on.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me organize and prioritize my projects that I have going at any one time. I tend to be a bit scatterbrained sometimes.

 ### 9. Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana Luz A. | Project Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

 ### 10. Easy Task Tracking, But Older Items Get Buried and Key Features Are Paywalled

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditi J. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

It’s easy to manage my work and keep track of tasks, even on the free plan.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Quite a few features are hidden behind a paywall. Also, it isn’t easy to revisit tasks you added a few months ago, since they end up so far back on the board.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really like how user-friendly it is. Even with a large team and lots of collaborators on a project, it doesn’t lag. The support team is helpful as well, I’ve spoken with them over email. That said, there are still better options available on the market.

 ### 11. Professional and efficient visual collaboration with Trello's virtual work tools.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Trello is one of my top choices for virtual work because its business collaboration features allow me to improve the quality of my work and that of all members of my professional department, facilitating secure and efficient communication with each of my colleagues.

I would also highlight Trello's initial registration process, which facilitates the adoption and execution of all its digital features, improving productivity and operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to the use of Trello's digital features and tools I have managed to improve the final quality of all my work processes, promoting business collaboration throughout my work department and the execution of all my professional operations.

 ### 12. Perfect for Lightweight Project Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep P. | Senior Digital Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

As a Digital Marketing Strategist managing a 20-member marketing team, we use Trello daily for campaign planning, content calendars, and workflow tracking.
One of the biggest advantages was how easy it was to implement. We set up multiple boards in a single day, structured them around campaign stages, and onboarded the team without formal training. The Kanban-style interface makes task visibility extremely clear, which reduces the need for frequent status meetings.
We’ve integrated Trello with Slack and Google Drive, and the integration process was straightforward. Most configurations were simple, and whenever we had questions, the help documentation and community resources were detailed enough to resolve them quickly without needing extensive support.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

As our campaigns became more complex and cross-functional, Trello started to feel somewhat limited. Dependency tracking, workload balancing, and advanced reporting are not very strong natively and often require Power-Ups or external tools.
While the documentation is helpful, larger teams with enterprise-level requirements may expect more structured support and built-in advanced capabilities. For highly complex project environments, it may not provide enough depth.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Trello, we were managing marketing tasks through spreadsheets and chat threads, which created confusion around ownership and deadlines.
Trello centralized everything. Each campaign has its own board, responsibilities are clearly assigned, and due dates are visible to the entire team. Since we use it daily, it has significantly improved accountability and transparency.
It works particularly well for structured marketing workflows and content planning, helping us maintain consistency across multiple ongoing campaigns.

 ### 13. Effortless Kanban Organization for Team Projects and Personal To-Dos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit T. | Application Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

It is very very easy to use. Whenever I start working on a project with m y colleagues or on a project with my friends, the first step is to make a Trello board. Tracking progress of others and for myself too is so easy. I started using Trello as my personal todo list too. I specially like the Kanban style layout. Work stays organized and I can track my tasks.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I would say nothing. Only thing that comes to mind that if I try out figuring dependencies in the team for a particular task, it does not help. I would like a dependency graph of the team project as a feature.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me organize my tasks and projects and efficiently delegate subtasks to others. It increases accountability and boosts productivity

 ### 14. Streamlines Project Management with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan F. | Multimedia Production Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I use Trello to break my goals into smaller daily tasks and assign them to me or my partner. The ease of use is something I really like, and I love how we can add images or docs, making it simpler to keep track of everything in one place. I use Google Docs a lot, and sharing it on the board makes things easier to find.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I'm not sure if Trello has desktop notifications, which could be a beneficial feature. Also, having an integration with Figma would be great.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello to organize and visualize tasks, set due dates, and keep all project materials in one place, making things easier to find.

 ### 15. Effortless Task Management, Needs Enhanced Complexity Handling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul D. | Business Development Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I like using Trello for project and task management as it helps with handling multiple tasks at the same time and makes it easy to review. I enjoy the workspaces and time tracking features. We manage multiple projects simultaneously by creating different workspaces for each client and, for various tasks, we create different boards to easily manage everything. The hourly spent and total hours fields are great for tracking time effectively. The initial setup of Trello was much easier, which was really nice.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Sometimes it's difficult to manage complex projects and long-term projects. For complex projects, it becomes hard to manage timelines, milestones, and tasks. For multiple tasks, we have to create multiple boards, and it is time-consuming.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello for managing multiple projects simultaneously, creating different workspaces for each client, and tracking time with hourly and total hours fields, making task management easier.

 ### 16. Simple, Straightforward Task Tracking—But Could Use More Depth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naph P. | Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Its simple and straightforward, good for tracking day to day or weekly activities and tasks. I also like its range of integrations like, google drive, slack and Microsoft teams

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

It lacks depth and tends to feel too simple, there aren't a lot of deep features like deadlines on individual tasks or nesting tasks.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the problem its solving is the ease of use and speed when it concerns quick tasks

 ### 17. Intuitive Task Tracker with Navigational Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riku H. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I find Trello very intuitive to use. I really like creating boards, customizing columns, and adding task descriptions alongside responsible assignees. It's mostly used for tracking tasks within our teams or projects, and it's very easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

When we have a lot of boards, it is easy for the user to get lost in these - often takes time to search the right board and right card. The search could be a lot better and allow search also with natural language that might not necessarily be with exact right keywords.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello for tracking tasks and progress in projects, and I appreciate its intuitive design.

 ### 18. Keeps Our Projects Clear and Visual

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cami C. | Freelancer, Management Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I really like how simple and visual Trello is. The board and card system makes it easy to see progress at a glance. It's quick to update, and easy to learn, which makes the whole process feel uncomplicated. I love how it helps keep projects simple and easy to follow. The boards give us a clear view of each project, and the cards break work into small manageable tasks. It's convenient to move cards as work progresses and add comments, attach files, and tag team members. Trello keeps everything visible and easy to track without long meetings.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

It can get messy when boards grow too large. Tracking complex projects with many dependencies is harder. Recording features are limited, so we sometimes need other tools for detailed tracking and analytics.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello to manage projects and track team tasks. It helps us design work, set deadlines, and monitor progress on a shared board. Trello keeps accountability clear, helps avoid delays, and keeps projects simple and easy to follow.

 ### 19. Trello Keeps Projects Organized with One-Click Progress Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dassaëve B. | Transfusion Medicine Consultant, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Trello is like you gant diagramm but more organised. You can follow al your pregression with a project with one click. Its your year planner with multiple features

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Some features should be free, like the calendar. Even a simple calendar would help me improve my performance with this tool.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can keep all your planning in a single place, with a schedule that shows who is assigned and the deadlines. There’s no need to use multiple tools for your planning. The only thing I miss is that the calendar plugin isn’t free.

 ### 20. Trello: Simple to Use, Surprisingly Powerful for Organized Team Tasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt B. | Operations Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

Trello is really simple to use, yet it can be surprisingly powerful. It makes it easy to keep tasks visible and organized, and it’s also straightforward to share them with colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

It’s frustrating that you can only have a maximum of 10 members per workspace.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this as a front-facing dashboard for our clients, syncing it with JIRA. Trello has a lot less noise than JIRA, so clients can easily see what they need to see.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daksh P. | Technical Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I like Trello because it's pretty straightforward with a clean UI, which makes it easy to use. We're using the free version, and it's quite effective for managing our tasks. I appreciate that we've been able to automate some tasks with it too. It's also helpful for viewing key performance indicators and tracking our engineers' sprint points weekly, which assists in appraisal reports. The initial setup was not hectic at all, adding to the ease of adoption.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Nothing as of now

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello for managing weekly sprints and tracking task performance. It's straightforward and automates some tasks, letting us monitor engineers' sprint points and appraisals better.

 ### 23. Effortless Task Management for Dev Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephan L. | Head of Digital & Technology, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I like Trello because it's very easy to use and offers a graphically interesting interface that gives a clear direction of the development path from 'to do' to 'in progress', 'in testing', and finally to 'deployment'. This makes the development process more visual and easier to follow by simply dragging a card from one status to the next. The initial setup was also very easy; we were up and running within one day.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

Nothing - everything works as expected.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trello to break down complex tasks into smaller, manageable parts, which helps my development team focus better on individual assignments.

 ### 24. Easy, User-Friendly Interface with Startup-Friendly Pricing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saim R. | LinkedIn Outreach Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

It is easy to use and have a user friendly interface, so there is not much training required for the new employees and pricing is also normal for new companies, so even a new startups can easily afford it.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I think Trello is best for small teams, but when a team grows there will be a lot of board, so sometimes we can face performance issue as well.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So, we are a medium sized company and Trello has centralized all of our tasks into the one visual board, so my team don't have to remember a lot of things, they can just open the Trello card and see all the information of the clients.

 ### 25. Keeps Projects Organized and Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle K. | Director of Finance & Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I really like Trello because it keeps everything organized in a visual, easy-to-follow way. The boards, lists, and cards make it simple to track projects, share updates, and collaborate with others without anything getting lost. I also appreciate how flexible it is—I can customize each board to fit exactly what I need, whether it’s managing tasks, planning timelines, or keeping documents in one place. Overall, it helps me stay clear, focused, and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

One thing I dislike about Trello is that it can feel limited when managing more complex projects. As boards grow, they can become cluttered, making it harder to find information quickly. Some features that would improve workflow—like advanced reporting, automation, or detailed task dependencies—often require paid upgrades or third-party add-ons. Because of that, Trello sometimes feels better suited for simple task tracking than for fully structured project management.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello helps solve the problem of keeping projects, tasks, and communication organized in one place instead of scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and conversations. It gives you a visual workflow that makes it easy to see what’s in progress, what’s coming next, and what still needs attention. This helps prevent things from slipping through the cracks and reduces the time spent searching for information. For you, the biggest benefits are clarity, better organization, and smoother collaboration—you can quickly track progress, assign tasks, and keep everyone aligned without extra back-and-forth. Trello ultimately makes managing work more efficient and less overwhelming.

the ability to organize everything from projects to recurring tasks to personal life items with access available on desktop, phone and ipad. The organization, customization and automations are a game changer. Not only do i benefit personally, but it is also beneficial for my team. Price is minimal in comparison to the benefit.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

The inability to copy a checklist to another card or move checklist items to another card.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trello solves the problem of taking notes on paper and then not being able to access them where ever i am. when integrated with my tablet note taking application i am able to have all meeting notes, thoughts, projects, brainstorming, etc. accessible.

 ### 27. Powerful Kanban Cards, but the Mobile App Feels Buggy and Laggy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elmer F. | LI Regional Organizer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Trello?**

I really like the layout of the Kanban board views, and how each individual card can hold so many powerful features to support detailed and robust project management.

**What do you dislike about Trello?**

I particularly do not like its mobile app as it is so buggy and difficult to maneuver. The lag is insane even after I let it buffer to update the trello board from the last time I opened it.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it incorporates the nitty gritty of project management which is the board acts as a hub to manage a variety of projects but within the cards, you can house all the details, deadlines and work collaboratively on these projects

 ### 28. Trello, a fantastic tool for improving collaboration and business work.

Simplicty, as far as work-management goes it's easy to use and cost effective dependant on scale.

From an enterprise perspective I find Trello is feature poor compared to it's parent companies other products. It's great for simple small-scale personal or project based work-management but for bigger projects or teams lacks the ability to sensibly scale. In fairness to Trello it does what I expect of it.

**What problems is Trello solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For some of our simple projects with less mature users it's much easier to get them setup and using Trello than some of our more enterprise grade tools.
