What do you like best about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?

SPS has incredible customer service and has a very good track record of things working smoothly after implementation. EDI used to cause our company headaches due to its inconsistency or long lead times with getting set-up but ever since we switched the issues have been almost non-existent. The transition from trueCommerce, which had limitations in scale and required more manual processing, highlighted the advantage of SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI in offering better account support and educational resources, helping us to fully leverage the platform and create more synergy with the brand. The overall reliability of the platform and the breadth of retail partners enable us to have an EDI platform we can count on for our corporate clients. It allows our EDI documents to be highly automated, and the various levels of help such as online chat support and email support tend to get us in business with solutions very rapidly. The Strategic Account Executives are stellar at helping, facilitating and maintaining open lines of communication. SPS makes EDI so easy through use of their web portal that the user can still do business with little to no knowledge of EDI. What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?

The largest downside will be noticed only by those who know EDI very well. For those EDI professionals that are used to going into and parsing or editing their EDI document by looking at the RAW X12 data will find that option is not readily available as the SPS solution eliminates the editing of RAW data and X12 files by their platform. I have been using SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI for about two years and really appreciate how it enhances my invoicing and communication. It enables clearer and more professional connections with customers, particularly the larger ones who require EDI compliance. The integration capability with our ERP system, Fishbowl, stands out as incredibly useful. Their website is another high point, offering great functionality that allows me to fulfill orders, receive purchase orders, and connect with people seamlessly. The widespread recognition of SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI is another major benefit; when trying to connect with customers, it's much easier and more efficient if they are also using SPS or are familiar with it. I appreciate how SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI provides a centralized platform to manage purchase orders (POs) efficiently. It simplifies the process of logging POs and retrieving shipping and carrier labels, making it much easier for my team to fulfill vendor POs. Additionally, the label generation feature stands out as particularly useful. The overall integration with major vendors, like DICK'S Sporting Goods, though initially challenging due to external factors, is another highlight. The reasonable pricing structure, with an initial fee of around $2.50 and a monthly fee of $50, is manageable and not burdensome, which is great when considering onboarding new vendors that integrate well with SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI. I would like to have real-time customer support available at all times instead of having to wait for ten to fifteen minutes for a response from a team member. This support is vital in ensuring that any problems are addressed and resolved efficiently. Specifically, their assistance has been crucial when shipping to retailers like Lowe's, where backend issues were promptly fixed, allowing us to ship on time. What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?

I am extremely dissatisfied with SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI. The onboarding process was incredibly long, taking more than 11 months without successfully launching any customer platform error-free. I find the technical capabilities very poor, and the company never admits fault. The support response times are frustratingly slow, and I often have to repeat issues, which is quite inefficient. Additionally, I regret choosing SPS Commerce as our automotive EDI provider due to their poor technical support, slow response time, and inadequate commercial actions. SPS overcharged our company by their mistake but never return the money back. The initial setup was complicated and difficult to manage. It's been an overall bad experience. What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?

Basically everything. Fast to take your money/sell you/sign you up for new services. Once the contract is signed, set up is slow, response time and frequency is terrible. Problems are bound to arise with connections and fixing these issues is a nightmare with SPS. I had one issue with a ship to location that took 18 months to be resolved....
