Its vast retail network and user-friendly interface. Since they are already connected with major retailers, onboarding new partners is incredibly fast. Plus, the platform is so intuitive that anyone on our team can easily manage POs and invoices without advanced EDI knowledge.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

The initial monthly fee can feel a bit high when you are just starting out with a single retailer. However, considering the efficiency and stability it provides, the long-term ROI is definitely worth it.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems Solving: It completely eliminates manual data entry and prevents costly shipping or invoicing errors with our retail partners.

Benefits: We save a significant amount of time daily by automating the order-to-cash process. It provides real-time visibility into document tracking, which dramatically boosts our team's operational efficiency and keeps our supply chain running smoothly. 
Also, their support team was super friendly during onboarding and literally walked us through the whole setup, making the transition very easy.

**What do you like best about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

SPS Commerce handles all the aspects of EDI as well as integration with our ERP system.  It's an all-in-one solution for us and is relatively easy to use and setup.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

There is a premium cost to having an all-in-one solution.  Support was recently updated to a single inbox/e-mail and has gotten a lot slower because of that change.  There aren't a lot of ad hoc solutions for problems with EDI, so when something is wrong, it can be difficult, or even impossible to correct in the integration, and often ends up having to be resolved in a heavily manual way in the fulfillment portal.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SPS solves the problem of needing to connect to our customers via EDI, and solves for us needing the EDI orders, acknowledgments, ASNs, and invoices to all be received and sent automatically using our ERP system.  We are a small business and just don't have that kind of expertise internally.

**What do you like best about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

The portal’s UX is excellent. The color-coded dashboard makes it easy to spot errors at a glance, and the advanced search is great for quickly exporting records when I need to audit something. Overall, it’s intuitive and saves me a lot of time when creating or troubleshooting EDI documents like ASNs and invoices. Tools like auto sourcing also help streamline the process and save time when generating documents.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

Troubleshooting is probably the most challenging part. Some error messages are specific and genuinely helpful, but others make it hard to see the direct connection between the error and what’s actually in the document. Menu navigation can also feel inefficient; I often end up opening multiple tabs just to keep quick access to all the views I need. When the issue involves Data Masons, it gets even more complicated, because a document that looks correct in Data Masons can still trigger errors in SPS with no clear explanation. In those cases, I often have to reach out to support for clarification and assistance.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SPS has been a huge help in keeping us up to date with our customers' EDI rules and avoiding compliance issues. Their Training Center is very useful and makes it way easier to understand exactly what we need to do to stay on track.

The auto-sourcing tools are a total lifesaver during busy seasons because they save us a ton of time on every document. Plus, the integration with our ERP has made everything much smoother, cutting out manual entry and the errors that come with it.

SPS Commerce makes it easy to exchange EDI documents with my trading partners.  Connections are quick. Documents are easy to read. The user interface is simple to use.  There are lots of training options. Customer service and tech support are easy to reach.  SPS Commerce is expensive for small businesses to use but since it makes EDI document exchange much easier, its worth the expense.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

Mainly the cost.  It's a lot for a small business, especially when I only send or receive documents a few times per year, but I have to pay for the ability to do so monthly.  Also, I have to pay in USD so that makes it even more expensive.

**What do you like best about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

I like that SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI is very easy to use once you get the hang of it. Also, I appreciate that when I have a problem, support responds very quickly. I also think it works very well by giving me all the information I need from the purchase orders. It is valuable because I can review the PO and complete the 4 fields to record my sale in less than 5 minutes, which ensures that my customer knows I accepted their order and that they will pick it up on the stipulated date.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

Sometimes SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI provides many options for data entry. I prefer to do the entry manually, as it gives me a breakdown that I can modify, but in the other options that are not manual, it does not allow me to change the data. I suggest that once the information that should not be changed is accepted, it should remain the same at each step by default, without the need to choose whether manually or another option.

SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI makes it easy for me to accept orders, detail products, and manage logistics, especially changes in purchase orders. It is easy to use once you get used to it, offers quick support, gives me all the information I need, and allows me to record sales quickly, in less than 5 minutes.

**What do you like best about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

We’ve been using SPS for the past three years, and my favorite feature so far is the timer. SPS Commerce sends notification reminders when an order is getting close to its fulfillment deadline, which helps us stay on top of our orders and avoid missing due dates. Label creation is also very convenient: I only need to fill in a few customer details, and the label is generated right away.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI feels like manual labor for me right now because we don’t have an automated integration yet where it syncs with our Shopify store and then our warehouse fulfills the order. At the moment, I have to manually send the orders to them so they can fulfill them. I really wish I could learn how to integrate SPS Commerce with our store so this process could be more streamlined.

SPS Commerce has helped us capture orders from our merchant partner stores, and it’s been very helpful for that.

**What do you like best about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

I appreciate how SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI integrates with our CRM, saving us so much time by automating order processing. The system's simplicity allows me to access necessary information in just a couple of clicks, never taking more than 5 minutes. Whenever I encounter an issue, the live support is incredibly helpful and resolves problems quickly. The customer support is some of the best I've seen, always addressing our needs with commitment. Moving from email and Excel to SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI has greatly simplified our processes.

I really like the way SPS Commerce help us have all the information related to one PO under a simple search, being all the PO changes, Invoice, ASNs, etc. Having the exact date and time in which these documents are being receipt  helps us a lot by tracking information with the customer in where in some cases they might not have sent orders on time regarding our contracted lead time days. By having information like this it helps us have arguments in our meetings and alligning our best interests together.

On the other hand, the way SPS Commerce was able to adapt to our CRM it has helped us incredibly by reducing human errors and saving too much time on setting orders manually. By having these automatic processes we can focuse on more things we couldn't before.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

We’d like to understand ASNs better, because our customer has flagged the documents we’re sending as “faulty” or “non-compliant,” and we can’t figure out why. Right now we’re sending LPN-level ASNs, but since we ship fresh produce, we’re not supposed to send them to ALDI this way. They’re expected to be item-level ASNs instead, and we don’t see an option to switch to item-level or clear guidance on how to send them correctly.

Regarding PO changes, we also feel the Accept/Reject buttons don’t actually have any impact. Our customers still expect us to deliver the product according to their requested changes, regardless of whether we accepted or rejected those changes in the system.

SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI saves us time by integrating with our CRM to automate order processing. It has simplified our operations by replacing email and Excel-based workflows, making everything more streamlined and easier to manage. The platform is straightforward to use, and the excellent customer support further improves our day-to-day workflow. With this feature our company can focus directly on attending issues presented in the supply chain without having to focuse too much on the POs receivedd and having someone place them directly in the system. Before SPS Commerce we used to have someone sit around 5-6 hours per day refreshing the email or our previous EDI to see if we had receive orders, however with this implementation we have succesfully reduced those hours to just 30 minutes a day.

Well, it's something I use daily and I love how easy it is. Coming from a different industry, I found SPS easy to learn, and I love how quick and easy it is to contact tech support if I'm having an issue.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

Sometimes it appears to run slow, and I need to close it out, delete my cache/history and open it up again to help it run better. But honestly that's usually the only issue I've run across.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The PO's that come through EDI from the customers, feed through quickly for the most part and I'm able to find what I need relatively easy. If I have any problems I know I can contact SPS tech support and it'll eventually be resolved.

All of my orders are in one place.  Invoices are sent and paid on time. Ease of use.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

Would like to be able to see the PO's on my iPhone.  I am unable to open the document and view it on my mobile.  Would like to have access on my mobile devices.
I would like to be able to make changes and make a request to the buyer to implement changes - minor price adjustments, date changes.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timely receipt of PO's and timely receipts of payment.  Would like to be able to send an email/note to the buyer regarding shipping date changes if required.
Would like to see, if perhaps I could import the details into Quickbooks, which could save a step in having to input the orders again in my accounting software.

I like SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI's layout; it’s simple and easy to locate previous and current orders. The customer support is by far the greatest team and is easy to rely on. Having a dedicated account manager is a huge bonus as we are able to request certain operations that can be implemented to make things more efficient. Our account manager has assisted us with new implementations, saving our operation team a lot of time and stress. The initial setup was super easy.

We are happy with everything, no changes needed or negative feedback to provide.

What is most helpful about the SPS Commerce EDI is their Customer Service team. While their platform is simple to use and has automated things that saves me lots of time, it's their customer service that shines through. I wish more companies had a customer service team like them. I know I can call anytime and get a real person who is happy, patient and speaks clearly. Their customer service is able to tell me in specific, easy to understand terms, what I need to do on my end to do resolve my question. They wait patiently while I follow their instructions and make sure it is completely resolved before I hang up.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

I haven't found anything that I don't like about SPS Commerce EDI Fulfillment.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SPS Commerce is the middleman between our company and the Customer who orders from us. The customer sends in their order, SPS informs me that there is an order and I confirm it from their site and do everything from accepting an order, pre pickup information, making ASN labels, to invoicing the customer. It's very streamlined and easy for someone without a lot of experience to follow and know what needs to be done next. I like that with SPS Commerce's workflow, nothing falls through the cracks.

**What do you like best about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

I've had a great experience with SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI for my EDI needs. The platform is reliable, easy to navigate, and integrates well with our systems, which has streamlined our order processing and improved efficiency. The team at SPS is responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help troubleshoot or optimize workflows. Their support has made onboarding new retail partners smoother and reduced manual work. The specific features I find particularly useful are the ASN Transmission, PO Acknowledgements, and PO Changes, which help reduce work in operations. I also appreciate working with Saila and Larry from the team as they are quick, efficient, and knowledgeable.

They could improve on being more efficient on getting the PO Changes correct for all retail partners. It took longer than wanting but overall has been successful.

I find SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI great for integration, especially as a young company, because it offers value at a low cost. The seamless transition with invoicing and orders across different systems of our various customers is a huge benefit. It keeps everything in one place and makes it easier for logistics to manage all of the purchase orders with just one system. Plus, the initial setup was an easy transition.

We found that some customers are not using the invoicing and we still have to send emails. It would be better if SPS could encourage all customers to receive invoices via EDI as well as placing POs.

I love the chat feature because sometimes I'm multitasking and don't have the time to call, and the reps on the chat are very responsive and usually solve my issue on the first try. The support is friendly, which made the initial setup very easy with their help. Also, the integration with our NetSuite platform is a plus. I appreciate how it helps with processing orders quickly from big customers like Walmart and Dollar Tree, and it's beneficial for receiving PO, submitting ASN, and invoicing.

The setup team has been incredibly convenient to work with and efficient in matching our needs and communicating. Their platform's fulfillment monitor allows us to set up notifications, produces reports, and has strong filtering capabilities. This helps us with the high visibility on errors and ensures these errors are communicated to our team as soon as possible. It's been very easy to set up, and they carry more of the weight than our previous partner.

The staff is also very helpful and quick to respond when I run into issues, and they work to get things resolved as fast as they can. That said, sometimes it can still be a challenge to figure out what’s actually going on.

Plus, there's a great team of humans I can reach out to when there are problems, which has been instrumental in helping us work through issues as they come up. We have built a great relationship with our team. The consistency of having the same project manager since day one has been beneficial, and James, our technical contact, is by far the best we've had. He keeps everything on track, leading weekly calls and even participating in long sessions to dive deep into integrations. The team's support has been a very positive experience, really helping us navigate the process without too much pain.

Onboarding a lot of customers at once is challenging because each customer has its own different documentation that needs to get turned on, and every step is a rather complex process. It sometimes feels like there's a lack of clarity on where we're at with each piece. The user interface of SPS Commerce could be more aesthetically appealing. Though it is sufficient for our needs, a more visually appealing interface would be nice. The initial setup was a bit rocky from the people standpoint, as our first integration contact was a little 'spaCy', which made getting kicked off a bit challenging.

SPS Fulfillment portal is a very user friendly, well organized EDI software. Once the team walks you through how to create your own insight tiles, it is very easy to further categorize and organize new orders or changes in the way that works best for your business. I also like best that SPS displays EDI data from each customer in the same format so there is a standardized PO format for orders received within this system.

Our account manager is great to work with, each time we need to onboard a new EDI connection/retailer they are clear in terms of timelines, next steps, expectations, and always very efficient. We find the the pricing for SPS quite fair given the features and attentive support they provide.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

Our team finds that some of the language used for ASNs can be confusing; it takes a few tries with the support team to fully understand what data we need to provide in order for it to be correct and the document to process. Thankfully their chat box is quite responsive at assisting with something like this. Each customer has their own ASN requirements, and the language around how we indicate the pack format (retail ready cartons within a master case) aren't always easy to understand. Ex. we have a standard master case that customers order by, a master holds 5 cartons within a case, but for an ASN we aren't always supposed to state 5,  we need to sometimes state 1 because 1 master case ships as its own case. 

One improvement request; we would love to see a feature added where we can attach our internal assigned order number to the POs within this software to have record of that (other than leaving a comment on the PO Workflow thread). It would be great if we could then call out that information within the Transactions section of SPS or sort/filter to see if any orders are missing an assigned number.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SPS fulfillment helps us by being one central software where we receive POs from retailers, send ASNs, as well as invoices.  Fulfillment streamlines EDI data from all different customers and shows it in a standardized format that is easy to read. This is key as anyone who still currently receives POs via PDF or Email understands that each customer has them set up differently and sometimes in very difficult to read formats, fulfillment solves that issue. It also reduces the number of different software's we need to work in to simply accept POs and invoice customers.

We’ve used several EDI solutions from different service providers, and SPS Commerce Fulfillment stands out as one of the most user-friendly, straightforward, and well-formatted options available. Our order desk, accounting team, and warehouse staff all picked up the system quickly, and we’ve had zero issues with our fulfillment process aside from occasional user error.

**What do you dislike about SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI?**

We’ve experienced some lengthy setup delays when adding new trading partners. In our opinion, these delays could have been avoided, which would have improved our overall customer experience, although they aren’t unusual for the industry. SPS could strengthen its market position by improving in this area, because once setup is complete, Fulfillment is exceptional.  

Secondary to this is billing in CAD.  SPS Commerce currently does not offer this alternative.  As a Canadian supplier, we would value this change greatly given USD exchange volatility.

**What problems is SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EDI and API fulfillment is increasingly becoming a centralized requirement for our customers in trading, and SPS Commerce has been a viable solution for us because they already service many of our client base. They have been experts in the industry since 1987. We actually left SPS Commerce for a Canadian service provider due to USD exchange volatility, but we came back because of the service, ease of integration, and support provided by the SPS team. SPS Fulfillment is benefiting us as an organization and helping us grow in both revenue and overall business by connecting us to more customers and creating greater opportunities ahead of our competitors.

Perhaps improvements could be made in making it easier to see what you've billed out so far during one sitting. There is a way to do it now but it requires a lot of steps.
