What I like best about the Salesforce Partner Cloud is honestly how much easier it makes working with all our different partners. Instead of bouncing around a million emails and spreadsheets, everything is in one place.
The biggest win for me is the visibility. I can quickly look at the dashboard and see exactly where all the deals are and who's working on what. The automated stuff, like registering a new deal or getting an approval, saves a ton of time and cuts out the annoying back-and-forth.
I also really like the training materials and content library. It makes it simple to get new partners up to speed without me having to personally walk them through everything every time. It just feels more organized and professional, which helps us all close deals faster and build better relationships. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, the main things that bug me about the Salesforce Partner Cloud usually come down to two things: how complicated it can be and the price tag.
For one, it's a beast of a system. The learning curve is pretty steep. Even for someone who's decent with computers, it takes a while to figure out where everything is and how to use it right. Setting it up the way you actually want it can be a real headache and usually means you have to bring in an expensive expert to get it right.
The other big issue is the cost. It feels like you're paying a lot for features you might not even touch, and if you need any extra bells and whistles, the price just keeps climbing. Sometimes the system can also be a bit slow and clunky, which is really frustrating when you're trying to quickly close a deal. Creating custom reports can also be surprisingly difficult and less intuitive than it should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
