What do you like best about Channelscaler?

I greatly appreciate Channelscaler's flexible off-the-shelf modules designed for reseller business. These modules are highly responsive, allowing us to piece together competitive programs that effectively drive sales. The Channelscaler Portal serves as a crucial tool for our over 3,000 resellers, providing access to a broad array of sales enablement tools and documentation, including both native Channelscaler tools and in-house developments. Notably, the rebate incentive programs and deal registration programs incentivize reseller partners to grow their business and secure repeat support and subscription revenues, which is extremely beneficial for our operations. Channelscaler's close integration with our Salesforce.com CRM system and our in-house developed applications ensures seamless operations and streamlined processes. The Channelscaler team demonstrated impressive dedication and efficiency by successfully migrating our Partner Portal from Webinfinity, now 360 Insights, to ensure a seamless service switch over. Their ability to deliver the Portal and additional Rebate incentive programs at a competitive price further underscores Channelscaler's value. Additionally, Channelscaler's team proposed a new Portal design aligned with our branding, which included intuitive login authentication and security measures, as well as automated workflows for the programs, ensuring a smooth transition and comprehensive access for our partners. The ease of this initial setup, coupled with Channelscaler's commitment to customization and improvement, makes it a highly recommendable solution for our business needs. What do you dislike about Channelscaler?

The deal registration program based on a back-end rebate program has not been entirely successful, requiring in-house enhancements. Additionally, the CS sales reward offer is primarily based on cash payments, which could be improved by introducing a points-based reward mechanism, currently not available. What do you like best about Channelscaler?

The platform has a clean user interface and a short learning curve, making it easy for both admins and users to get started quickly. Core functions such as user management, permissions, and reporting are stable and reliable. Customer support is responsive, and implementation was relatively simple. What do you dislike about Channelscaler?

Despite its stability, the platform feels outdated compared to modern partner ecosystem tools. It lacks key collaboration features like partner-specific workspaces, shared campaign tracking, or co-GTM planning modules. There is no way to manage partner-spesific joint marketing or sales activities directly within the system. Customization options are limited, and integrations are not flexible enough for dynamic partner workflows. What do you dislike about Channelscaler?

I wish it was prettier it kind looks like the backend of a website. I wish it looked more clean and crisp like a true webite. I think one big win would be allowing us to place SCORM files in the portal so our courses launch directly from the portal so we don't have to use a different portal ontop of this portal. Within same time zone so support tickets are managed in a timely manner, although cannot answer for Americas or Asia team.

What do you dislike about Channelscaler?

Awaiting for weekly catch ups to discuss gaps whereas prefer email updates within X time frame - usually because the follow up steps require other colleagues and rather get the fix implemented.

Some updates require more than 8 weeks which I think is undesirable as a client. This has now worsened and is around 16 weeks to get updates live.

Platform is clunky and not intuitive and feels like old technology.

Responses back on needs are slow and capabilities that should be part of the solution are not and not getting commitment to fix.

Some of the basics, like training materials were difficult to get and continue to be a struggle

What do you like best about Channelscaler?

What do you dislike about Channelscaler?

I find the menus very confusing/clunky, especially in the "super user" view. There are way too many options and the options aren't as clear as they could be for what they do. The reporting functionality is also hard to work with and doesn't have functionality I would like to see--eg ability to pull a report that includes all of the fields on the request form.

In the Partner user view, it would be good to be able to see the view/edit/submit claims button without having to scroll to the right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
