"Effortless Setup and Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about Protecht?

The platform is straightforward to understand and use, and its modular design allows you to add features as needed. I appreciate that, after a brief training period, users can configure the system themselves. The support teams are exceptionally helpful and friendly, which makes a big difference. Implementing the platform was quick and easy, and rolling it out to the user base was a smooth process.

Our Risk Management staff use the system on a daily basis and found integration seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

I can't think of any particular drawbacks. While the help desk being located in Australia can sometimes result in slightly longer response times due to the time difference, issues with the platform are so infrequent that this rarely becomes a problem once you're aware of the time zone difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Hi Laura, thanks for the fantastic review.

We are really pleased to hear that you found Protecht straightforward to use and that the modular design has allowed you to roll out capabilities as needed. It is great to know that, after initial training, your teams have been able to confidently configure and use the platform as part of their day-to-day risk management activities.

We also appreciate your feedback on support. We have local support engineers across APAC, EMEA, and North America to provide timely assistance, while development-related requests are coordinated through our Australian-based product and engineering teams. We are glad this approach has worked well for you and that support needs have been minimal once the platform was embedded.

It is encouraging to hear how Protecht has improved access to RCSAs, incident reporting, and action planning across the organisation. We look forward to continuing to support you as you introduce additional modules and further strengthen your risk management practices.

"Highly Configurable, Perfect for Complex Data Needs"
What do you like best about Protecht?

I use Protecht for storing and analyzing operational resilience data. It's a lot better than spreadsheets for data storage. I like its configurability and flexibility, which allow me to accommodate complex data interlinkages that map onto a hierarchy. Its flexible nature means we can configure the registers to fit our operational resilience needs. Although I wasn't involved in the initial setup, I think the pre-existing modules served as a good template that we built upon, and once the configuration process is understood it's relatively easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

Some of the dashboarding is a little frustrating. It uses iNetSoft which is reasonably competent as a system, but it does require some a priori knowledge of database structures, joins and so on which can get quickly confusing. Other risk management systems do dashboarding a little better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, Tom.

We are pleased to hear that Protecht is supporting your operational resilience work and providing a more robust and scalable alternative to spreadsheets. The ability to model complex data interlinkages and hierarchies is a key requirement for resilience and risk teams, and it is great to hear that the platform’s configurability and flexible register structure are helping you map these relationships effectively. It is also encouraging that the pre-configured modules provided a strong starting point and that, once understood, the configuration process has been manageable.

We appreciate your candid feedback on dashboarding. We recognise that advanced reporting tools can introduce complexity, particularly where a deeper understanding of data structures is required. Improving the usability of dashboards and making insights more accessible without technical expertise is an ongoing focus for us, alongside providing guidance and support to help customers get the most value from their data.

Thank you again for sharing your experience. Feedback like yours helps inform our continued investment in both platform capability and user experience, particularly for complex operational resilience use cases.

"Great for Team Collaboration, But Customization and Reporting Need Work"
What do you like best about Protecht?

How it pulls together different areas of risk and allows collaboration across teams to get things done. The Protecht team are approachable and helpful when it comes to queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

A lot of customisation is required to get it to where we needed it to be. Reporting functionality out of the box is not easy for users to configure themselves, leading to the need for support hours from Protecht themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Thank you Ben for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback.

We are really pleased to hear that Protecht is helping you bring together different areas of risk and enabling collaboration across teams, particularly within your VRM processes. Unifying risk assessments, due diligence and ongoing monitoring is exactly what the platform is designed to support, and it is great to hear that this is saving you time and driving a more consistent approach to supplier management.

We also appreciate your candid comments on customisation and reporting. Protecht is intentionally highly configurable so organisations can align the platform closely to their risk framework, regulatory obligations and operating model. That flexibility can require more upfront configuration than simpler tools, and we recognise that this can create additional effort early on.

Reporting is an area we continue to invest in, with ongoing enhancements focused on making dashboards and reports easier for users to configure independently, while still supporting complex governance and board-level reporting needs. Our team’s involvement during this process reflects our commitment to partnering closely with customers to ensure the platform delivers long-term value, not just a quick out-of-the-box fit.

Thank you again for your feedback and for working with our team. Insights like yours help us continue to improve the platform and the customer experience.

"Efficient, User-Friendly with a Few Personalization Hurdles"
What do you like best about Protecht?

I really like how user-friendly Protecht is. Once you've done one thing in it, you then have the confidence and knowledge to fill out any tab, register, or field because it's just all exactly the same, making for a great user experience. The initial setup was super easy, thanks to Emily, who guided us through every step, making the whole experience very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

I've had issues where sometimes I'm not able to change the format or the wording of certain fields because they're set in stone. It would be nice to personalize those for our business. Also, we'd love to use Protecht with other tools, but we're having API linkage issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Hi Caroline, thanks for sharing your feedback and for the positive review.

It's fantastic to hear that you find Protecht user-friendly and intuitive, and that the consistency across tabs, registers, and fields has helped build confidence for your users. It is also great to hear that the initial setup experience was smooth, and we will be sure to pass your feedback on to Emily.

We appreciate your comments regarding field personalisation and API integrations. Some fields are intentionally standardised to support data integrity, reporting consistency, and governance requirements, however we recognise the importance of flexibility to reflect how each organisation operates. Your feedback helps inform where we continue to balance standardisation with configurability. Integrations and API connectivity are also an active area of focus, and we continue to invest in improving reliability and expanding integration options to better support connected risk ecosystems.

It is encouraging to hear that Protecht is helping automate follow-ups, prompt action owners, and surface gaps through dashboards. Streamlining processes and reducing the risk of missed deadlines is a key benefit for many of our customers.

Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback. Insights like this help us continue to improve both the platform and the overall customer experience.

"Efficient Processes, Visual Improvements Needed"
What do you like best about Protecht?

I really appreciate the user-friendliness of Protecht and how easy it is for different people around the business to use it and find all of their information in one place. I also really like the use of the dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

Our key risk indicators have been really difficult to get right. The visuals, how they look, and how they show for those where there's no triggers and limits, make it difficult. We've had to do a lot of tweaking to get it right. The current display hasn't been completely fit for purpose for us. Also, we've struggled to integrate Protecht with Jira, which was promised at onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Hi Lewis, thanks for taking the time to share such detailed feedback.

We are pleased to hear that you find Protecht user-friendly and that the platform is helping bring information together in one place, particularly through dashboards. Automating manual processes and consolidating fragmented data to support SMF and SMCR reporting, risk tracking, and governance committee oversight are core objectives of the platform, and it is encouraging to hear this is delivering value.

We appreciate your candid feedback on key risk indicators. KRIs can be complex to design and visualize, particularly when accommodating different thresholds, triggers, and reporting scenarios. We recognize that getting these right can require refinement, and your comments on visuals and display are valuable input as we continue to enhance how KRIs are configured and presented, including scenarios where triggers or limits are not applied.

We are also sorry to hear about your experience with the Jira integration. Integration reliability and clear alignment on implementation expectations are important, and this is not the experience we aim to deliver. I have shared this feedback directly with our Customer Success team, and they will reach out to you to better understand the challenges and work with you on a path forward. In the meantime, we would also encourage you to connect with your Protecht Customer Success Manager if you have not already done so.

Thank you again for your feedback. Reviews like this help us continue to improve the platform and the overall customer experience.

"Empowering Risk Management with Flexibility and Intuitive Design"
What do you like best about Protecht?

At KCU, we are currently in the implementation phase of Protecht, and the journey so far has been encouraging. The platform’s structured approach to Enterprise Risk Management is helping us establish a strong foundation for identifying and managing risks more effectively. We particularly value its flexibility to support our internal audit processes and vendor risk management, which are critical components of our overall risk framework. Even at this stage, the intuitive interface and customizable features are making it easier for our teams to adapt and align the system with our organizational needs. We anticipate that once fully rolled out, Protecht will streamline collaboration across departments and enhance our ability to turn risk data into actionable insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

It takes a little bit long for team to develop new form/document based on our template, however, they are doing well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the thoughtful review, especially during your implementation phase.

We are pleased to hear that Protecht is helping KCU establish a strong foundation for Enterprise Risk Management and that the platform’s structured approach, flexibility, and intuitive design are supporting your internal audit and vendor risk management processes. These are critical areas, and it is encouraging to hear that your teams are already finding it easier to align the system with your organizational needs.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the time required to develop new forms and documents based on templates. Protecht’s configurability is designed to ensure that risk frameworks, documentation, and workflows align closely with each organization’s requirements, and that can require more upfront effort during implementation. We are glad to hear our team is supporting you well through this process, and we continue to invest in tooling, guidance, and automation to help accelerate configuration and reduce time to value.

It is also great to hear that Protecht is helping with automation and documentation, and that you see clear potential for improved collaboration and more actionable risk insights as you move toward full rollout. We look forward to continuing to support you as you expand usage across the organization and realize the full benefits of the platform.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.

What do you like best about Protecht?

I like how it has a very simple interface, therefore it is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

"Essential and User-Friendly Solution for Governance"
What do you like best about Protecht?

Easy to use and essential for governance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

user interface could be easier and self service for users could be simpler Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for the strong rating.

We are pleased to hear that you find Protecht easy to use and essential for governance, and that it is supporting strong risk accountability and clear reporting to the Board. Internal control assurance and testing are critical governance capabilities, and it is great to hear these features are delivering value for your organisation.

We appreciate your comments on the user interface and the desire for simpler self-service. Improving usability and making it easier for users to work independently is an ongoing focus for us. Thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback. Insights like yours help guide our product roadmap and ensure Protecht continues to support strong governance outcomes while becoming even easier to use.

"Efficient Data Analysis, Needs More Customization"
What do you like best about Protecht?

I use Protecht for Risk Event Monitoring, RCSAs, and MI, and I appreciate the better data it provides for analysis. I like the surface and find the ease to amend the forms particularly valuable. The initial setup was easy enough and a smooth process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protecht?

I'm not happy with the MI and the abilities to make code changes ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Megan Connell of Protecht

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Maria.

We are pleased to hear that Protecht is supporting stronger data analysis across Risk Event Monitoring, RCSAs, and Management Information, and that you have found the platform intuitive to use, particularly when amending forms. It is also great to hear that the initial setup was a smooth experience.

We appreciate your feedback regarding MI and the ability to make code-level changes. Protecht is designed to balance flexibility with governance, security, and data integrity, which means some areas of the product are intentionally less configurable by end users. That said, improving how customers can tailor MI outputs and reporting is an ongoing focus for us, including making insights easier to adapt without requiring technical intervention.

Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback. Insights like yours help guide continued investment in the platform and ensure Protecht continues to deliver meaningful, decision-ready risk information.
