Prevalent has brought organisation to a complex supply framework accross multiple client accounts. The survey and monitoring functions have been key in understanding risk within suppliers accurately. The support and desire to grow the platform in your business is excellent and always on hand to support with issues and response time is amazing. Real ROI **What do you dislike about Mitratech Prevalent?** Standard reporting is good for overviews. The advanced reporting focuses very much (still very useful) on the final output... risks, remediation planning, threats and user activity. We find very little reporting supports analysis of progress of gathering information - as an example we have to export schedule reports to excel to analyse some aspects of the process. **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Coordinated view of supplier use accross multiple client accounts, building a map of suppliers utilised in different areas for the same service which has been used to leverage better agreemets and lower costs - Before Prevalent the use of suppliers was siloed and not visable to all and in some cases invisable to all but the project and procurement. Now firmly embedded into our onboarding process, the use of prevalent is our repository of suppliers poast & present. The risk registers generated are used in key reporting, remediation is a team effort accross SME areas all coordinated in a single space which has removed duplication of work, as well as reduced the multiple spreadsheet issued to suppliers for onboarding and compliance. ### 2. We have excellent working relationships with the implementation and operations staff, who worked with us diligently to implement the tool in a manner that served our organization's needs. We extensively use their framework surveys and risk register functionality, which has helped us stay aligned with regulations. It's extremely scalable and customizable, and the team is always there to help when we needed something tailor-made for us. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Prevalent?** Advanced report filtering cannot be saved, since it relies on an AWS analytics platform that lacks that functionality. **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** We extensively use their framework surveys and risk register functionality, which has helped us stay aligned with regulations. It has helped us stay on top of corporate risk, and assisted us with our effort to become complaint with a particular cybersecurity compliance framework. ### 3. They were very helpful in getting us up to speed and keeping in touch with new recommendations. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Prevalent?** The user interface was good but that is where we did see some room for improvement. I also really liked that the surveys for the vendors were templated for many different categories, as well as the monitoring, onboarding, and remediation. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Prevalent?** The platform is very complex, and the onboarding process for the tool was overwhelming for us, as we were completely new to this process. The GUI and system could also be easier to use and more intuative. **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Prevalent to improve our compliance with our compliance mandates, as well as helping us improve our security posture related to third party vendors. We are also using the program to ensure that our vendors are compliant with our business security needs and to help improve their security. ### 6. Plenty of detailed information is available at a glance, including when surveys are in progress, which is very useful. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Prevalent?** For larger or more complex surveys, the need to add individual questionnaire elements one-by-one, even when they all feed into the same risk register, is slightly clunky. **Recommendations to others considering Mitratech Prevalent:** This system is good at automating your risk management and supply chain risk assessment procedures. It will work best if you know what it is that you want to assess and monitor, and what your risk appetite is. **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Supplier risk assessment and supply chain risk management, from security and business continuity to regulatory and data compliance. On-boarding and due diligence on new suppliers and annual risk reviews of key subcontractors. The benefits are in the automation and ease of use of the platform, compared with a cumbersome spreadsheet-based process we previously used. ### 7. The platform is straightforward to navigate and intuitive. The ability to access monitoring data and reports is quick and easy, and the monitoring data is current, clear, and concise. Highly value the ability to quickly view business, financial and cyber monitoring data on our vendors, and spot any risks that are scored high-risk. Prevalent's customer service and support, and staff are exceptional. We were able to implement single-sign on. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Prevalent?** I would like to see more details regarding identified risks within the cyber monitoring findings (but I believe Prevalent is already working on this with their external party). The platform is clean looking, but it could use a cosmetic facelift, so it's more eye-appealing. Would appreciate the ability to do a quick peek on a vendor during an RFP process (without buying a full year license). **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Prevalent to monitor our high-risk, business-critical third parties continuously. We are alerted when risks are identified, which allows us to analyze and mitigate the risk quickly. ### 8. The platform itself is clean and straightforward, and the workflows are easily maneuvered. It is not difficult to access the list of vendors or pull reports from the data Prevalent has collected. Prevalent's customer service and support is excellent. Our representative has gone above and beyond to communicate with our team and work through any requests we might have. **What do you dislike about Mitratech Prevalent?** I think it would be wonderful if our organization was able to customize the appearance of our profile in Prevalent's platform. It's very clean and organized, but it would be nice if we were able to choose colors, etc. It would also be nice to be able to have the option of a quick 'review' of a potential third party vendor, rather than having to fully invest one of our licenses in a vendor, as we do not always move forward with every vendor we screen. **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are working with Prevalent to monitor the third parties we work with that our organization has deemed as high risk and business critical. It has been extremely beneficial to have a continual monitoring of these parties, as well as have quick access to any issue that may arise and be able to mitigate the situation as quick as possible. ### 9. There are a couple of convenience features that could be added, but they take criticism very well and make suggestions to their team for improvements. **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have a much better understanding of vendor's security measures, and can better assess risks present in certain relationships. ### 10. There are also limited resources in the Help Centre that provides guidelines on new functionalities in the portal. **What problems is Mitratech Prevalent solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allowed us to maintain an organized record of our assessments and service providers giving us the ability to have a standardized process for all assessments.
