"Non-technical user's dream: Easy N8N integration that just works"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

What I love most is that it works with N8N right out of the box. I'm not a programmer, and I tried four or five other PDF services before this one.

Every single one of them was confusing, and I couldn't get any of them to work, no matter how hard I tried.

With PDF.co, I was able to set it up in N8N and start making PDF reports for my clients without pulling my hair out.

It's simple to use and does exactly what it claims to do.

Yes, I have to pay for it, but it's worth every penny because I can actually deliver the reports my clients need.

Sometimes you get what you pay for, and this is one of those times where paying for a good service beats struggling with free options that don't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

The variety of different endpoints can be confusing for new users. I had to conduct some research to determine which endpoint I needed to use to convert HTML reports into PDFs, but once I figured that out, it was straightforward. In reality, I don't have much to dislike about PDF.co. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finding a simple to use PDF generation solution."
What do you like best about PDF.co?

I'm working on automations for business operations and needed to be able to take raw HTML and convert it to PDF files. I tried to use a few other solutions but PDF.co made the process and setup of this so simple, I had to sign up. Easy to integrate, easy to implement and I will be using this quite often. What do you dislike about PDF.co?

I don't have anything to dislike about the product. I needed a simple solution and PDF.co did the trick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No‑Code PDF Automation Made Effortless on make.com"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

The seamless, no‑code integration with make.com lets me chain OCR, PDF‑to‑Plain‑Text, Split and Merge PDF actions in minutes. OCR accuracy is outstanding, extracted text is clean, and processing is consistently fast. Splitting large documents and merging sections back together is intuitive, and the visual scenario builder makes troubleshooting a breeze. Overall, it’s a rock‑solid, developer‑friendly suite that saves me hours of manual work every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

Occasionally, very large or highly complex PDFs can introduce slight delays, and I’d love to see more built‑in templates for common workflows. A few more advanced merge‑setting options in the UI would be helpful, but these are minor compared to the overall reliability and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I was impressed by the reliability and speed of the service."
What do you like best about PDF.co?

PDF.co has established itself as an essential tool for the automation and advanced management of PDF documents. Its API, very comprehensive and well-documented, allows for analyzing, creating, editing, and extracting data from PDF files with great flexibility. Integration with platforms like Make.com or N8N is simple and reliable, which facilitates the implementation of automated workflows, even complex ones. The tool particularly excels in managing poorly scanned or unstructured documents, thanks to powerful and multilingual OCR functions, which transform PDFs into fully searchable documents ready for data extraction.

Among the strengths:

Large library of features (editing, annotation, creation, extraction, compression, OCR, etc.).

Easy-to-integrate REST API, compatible with numerous cloud services and automation tools.

Clear documentation and online simulation tools available to test features before deployment.

Cross-platform support: Windows, macOS, Linux.

Reliable automation of repetitive tasks, reduction of human errors, and considerable time savings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

Some areas for improvement:

Pricing can seem high, especially for intensive use or small volumes of included credits. Fine management of endpoints is sometimes necessary to optimize costs.

The variety of endpoints can confuse new users. More examples or tutorials in French would be appreciated.

For some endpoints, slightly higher latency can be observed, but this remains negligible in production.

In summary, PDF.co is a robust, reliable, and very comprehensive solution for any company or team looking to automate the management and extraction of PDF data. Its API has become the backbone of many document processes, and its efficiency saves valuable time while minimizing errors. Highly recommended for advanced PDF processing needs. "A reliable one-stop solution for all things PDF"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

I am truly impressed by the extensive functionality and flexibility of the API. It is very well documented, too. Also, their website offers some tools to simulate and experiment with some of their features before implementing them. It is very easy to use and the integration with other platforms such as make.com is flawless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

I find it to be a bit on the expensive side. In some workflows I try to use the more credit hungry endpoints or configurations only if absolutely necessary. I would burn through my credits fairly quickly if I hadn't implemented some extra cost saving logic. I wish they would up the included credits so I could keep things simpler. For some endpoints I noticed a higher latency but that honestly doesn't bother me in production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient, reliable and scalable automation with PDF.co"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

I have a free online course platform with 4 million students, and our business model is based on students' interest in generating a certificate upon completing the course, which has a cost for them.

Our certificate generation process was manual, expensive, as it required two people to do it, and presented several problems and delays of several days until the student could access the certificate.

I then decided to automate this process and, to do so, I looked for an API that was easy to integrate and that would generate and present the PDF certificate to the student quickly and assertively.

I confess that I tested other APIs! But none of them surpassed PDF.co. During the free trial period, I was able to implement everything I needed; it was fantastic, easy and fast!

Today, when the system identifies the student's payment, the certificate is generated automatically and immediately presented to the student, with the help of PDF.co.

This has represented a huge step forward for us, the frequency of use is high, it has drastically reduced the number of complaints, increased conversion, since the certificate is obtained immediately, reduced our operational costs, eliminated errors and delays and allowed us to think about new updates.

I often recommend PDF.co to friends from other companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

To be honest, there is only one thing that is not clear to me: whether it is possible to subscribe to a monthly plan and, at the same time, purchase individual credits that would be used to keep the service running.

- Imagine that I subscribe to a plan with 16,500 credits/month and these credits run out before 30 days. I don't know if the individual credits would take effect, you know?

Another detail about this would be to understand whether the individual credits or the plan credits are used first.

Support can certainly help me with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tried many, simply the BEST software for AI PDF reading and document parsing"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

VERY easy to integrate and VERY consistent!

I use PDF.CO within my Make scenario builder, we can over 400 invoices a month and extract several fields which is then captured on a google sheet for our database later and reporting. I have tried several tools, but only PDF.CO works so consistently, haven't had an error once. The mapping of output from PDF.CO module (which is the API call) works flawlessly.

Even when it wasn't explicitly stated, it reads a 3 page report we get several ones a day and has the data ready for the next part in my Make scenario. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

I think it's a little expensive! We fly through the 25 USD credits per month. I wish it was 50% cheaper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, HIPAA‑Ready PDF Automation That Integrates Seamlessly With Our Stack"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

As a healthcare provider handling protected health information, our first filter is always HIPAA compliance. PDF.co offers a clear Business Associate Agreement, strong encryption at rest and in transit, and granular access controls—making our security team comfortable from day one.

On the technical side, the REST API is clean, well‑documented, and consistent across endpoints. We integrated PDF generation, data extraction, and form‑filling into our Make.com workflows and custom Node.js services in under a week. Webhook callbacks are fast and reliable, which keeps our automations real‑time. In short, the platform “just works,” reducing engineering overhead and letting my team focus on patient‑facing features instead of PDF plumbing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

The dashboard UI feels utilitarian; it shows the essentials but lacks the polish of newer SaaS products. Usage analytics could also be richer (e.g., per‑endpoint breakdowns). Neither issue affects day‑to‑day operations, but additional insight would help with capacity planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I wish I had known about this software earlier"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

pdf.co is a very easy to use, practical and fast tool. It facilitates the automation of processes that would otherwise be very tedious. It will allow me to increase productivity and there is very little margin for error, so I find it particularly reliable. After a slight learning curve, I have been able to quickly process over 400 revised documents. I love how easy it is to generate templates for different types of suppliers. I use it in workflows with Make.com and find it an almost perfect match! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

One pdf file apparently had a hidden special character, the Spanish ñ, but in the original document it looked like an n (without the ñ).

Apparently pdf.co transcribed the special character in a hidden way and I had a hard time seeing where the error was in the workflow between the pdf.co module and the Make data store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Speed and Precision in PDF Management"
What do you like best about PDF.co?

PDF.co delivers lightning-fast conversions and extractions, even on massive batches, with OCR that deciphers the blurriest scans as if they were crystal-clear. The API is as straightforward as a pilot’s pre-flight checklist—clear, reliable, and quick to integrate. Its clean, intuitive interface means I get complex tasks done in three clicks or less, and support responds almost before I’ve finished my coffee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF.co?

Advanced AI-driven automation features—such as predictive tagging and workflow suggestions—are still in early access and occasionally need manual tweaks. Processing exceptionally large jobs can introduce minor delays, but splitting them into smaller segments is a simple workaround. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
