"Powerful All-in-One Collaboration, but Cluttered UI and Notification Overload"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

All-In-One Hub: Combines persistent chat, video conferencing, file storage, and collaborative channels into a single window. Live File Collaboration: Multiple team members can view and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files simultaneously within a chat or channel. Cost Efficiency: Included at no extra charge with most enterprise and business Microsoft 365 licensing tiers. Enterprise Security: Offers strong data encryption, multi-factor authentication, and compliance tools that meet strict corporate IT standards. Extensive App Integration: Connects with hundreds of third-party apps and bots through the built-in app store to help automate workflows. Large Meeting Capacity: Supports large online events, webinars, and town halls with thousands of interactive participants or view-only attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Interface Clutter: Finding specific files, threads, or settings can be difficult because of complex nesting, crowded layouts, and disorganized search tools. Notification Fatigue: Managing notifications is notoriously complicated, which often causes users to miss crucial updates or deal with constant alert overload. Steep Learning Curve: Configuring channels, permissions, and internal file sharing feels less intuitive than more streamlined alternatives like Slack. Ecosystem Lock-in: Performance drops noticeably and setup becomes clunky if your organization tries to use it alongside Google Workspace or other non-Microsoft tools. File Management Confusion: Automatically storing files can create complex backend SharePoint structures, which may confuse casual users who are simply trying to organize documents. Guest Access Friction: Inviting external clients or freelancers into channels frequently runs into cross-tenant permission issues, along with security blocks that slow everything down. "Easy, Personal Remote Collaboration You Can Trust"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I like that it makes it easy to connect with colleagues on work-from-home days. It feels much more personal to see their faces when discussing matters. As someone who works with confidential topics, I can feel confident that I won’t accidentally email the wrong person information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Sometimes it can lag in areas with a weaker connection, and my camera can be blurry at times. I really like the transcript feature, but it still needs some improvement, since it sometimes misinterprets what I’ve said. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Teams Makes Everyday Team Collaboration Easier"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I like most about Microsoft Teams is that it keeps our day-to-day communication and meetings in one place. We use chat for quick questions and updates, while channels are useful for keeping conversations related to a project or team together. Sharing files during a conversation is also convenient, and the connection with Outlook and other Microsoft 365 apps makes it easier to move between meetings, documents, and messages. Meetings and screen sharing have generally been reliable for regular team communication. The interface can take some time to get used to, but once the teams and channels are organized, it makes collaboration much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

The main thing I dislike is that Teams can become difficult to navigate when there are a lot of teams, channels, chats, and notifications. It is sometimes harder than expected to find an older conversation or locate a file that was shared some time ago. Notifications can also become distracting when several channels are active at the same time. The core features work well, but I think the navigation and organization could be simpler for people who are managing a large number of conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy way to get in contact with my Co-workers!"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I can chat with my teammates about anything I need, and it's quick. I can also attend the meetings we have. I find it easier to talk with my teammates than call them when I run into an issue with a customer. I also love being able to send funny GIFs to my co-workers for a pick-me-up! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Sometimes the connection with teams during the meetings is slow. When I save a photo and send it in a chat, it will override the other photo I had already sent. That can be an issue because I like to have all of my photos on there if I ever need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable hub for daily collaboration, though it can be a resource hog"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The seamless integration with the entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem is by far its biggest strength. I can open, edit, and share Excel sheets or Word docs directly inside a chat without constantly switching apps. The audio and video quality for calls is consistently solid, and having chats, channels, and files all organized in one place makes tracking project history incredibly easy for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

It is incredibly heavy on system resources. If I have multiple tabs open alongside Teams, my laptop's fan starts spinning like crazy and everything slows down. The search function can also be pretty frustrating—sometimes I know a specific keyword from a chat last week, but the search results bring up irrelevant files instead of the actual conversation thread. "Microsoft Teams Makes Private Chats and File Sharing Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The best thing about Microsoft Teams is that that it really helps someone to maintain their private data in a very procedure. Based man. Every conversation we are having with the specific person is quite private and in a very good conversation base specifically the whatever the documents are the attachments we want to share. It’s easily being uploaded on teams and shared instantly, so no need to worry about document, sending all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Nothing else at such yeah, but I believe when you want to create a new group over there, it’s quite hard to do that. I believe if that is short theme is the best enterprise software that could be used for daily conversation in the organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Better than others"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

You can respond to specific messages, where both the original message and the sender and the responding message are displayed together. You can search your conversations for keywords, links, and files. As the name suggests, we can also create teams, and within those teams, you can pin important files for easy access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

You cannot seem to delete conversations. Only I can hide them, so I have a lot now waiting on my list, and it isn't perfect to let you know you get messages. I often miss someone's ping because the notification isn't noticeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome Collaboration Tool with Deep MS 365 Integrations and an Organized UI"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

Awesome collaboration tool that supports chatting, video calls, audio calls, and more. Beyond the basic collaboration features, it also lets you share files, emojis, and GIFs. The integrations with other tools are by far the most appreciated feature for me, such as JIRA integration, Trello board integration, etc. The deep MS 365 integration within the app allows users to access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Notes directly, which makes it feel like a more collaborative platform overall. The UI is very organized and user-friendly, and it reduces cluttered conversations with the help of team-based channels. It also scales really well for large organizations. Security and Compliance, along with Copilot AI integration, help with summarizing meetings, making notes, and creating drafts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

The Teams application feels a bit heavy and resource-intensive, which means older machines may struggle to run it smoothly. Notifications can also overwhelm users if they aren’t configured properly. One-to-one chats are easy for new users to understand, but team chats and other group conversations can feel complicated at first because of the nested structure. Also, if an org isn’t already in the Microsoft ecosystem, the overall value of MS Teams may weaken considerably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All Messages and Meetings in One Place—Smooth, Affordable, and Easy to Use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I love the overall collective view like all my messages, DMs, group chats, meetings, meeting message and even recordings can be accessed at one place. It helps with notifying about the meetings and the in-built call functionality is also great. It integrates easily with calendar, reminders and other apps. I like the working of meeting and messages, with no delays. The pricing is also great. As a user, no special training was required as the UX was pretty good and easy to onboard. I also like the integration of AI coming up with the teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Maybe not a big one but I think whenever a meeting starts, or is going to start, notifying or calling directly really helps. I sometimes totally forget about the meeting and a call helps to start things on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
