# Who has the best software testing tool for QA teams doing manual exploratory testing vs. engineering teams automating regression tests in CI/CD?

QA Wolf is built around automated E2E coverage tied into the dev pipeline, with reviewers specifically crediting it with catching critical issues before merging pull requests. One reviewer noted the tests are separate from their standard suite, which can create a maintenance disconnect for dev teams who aren't used to that split.

Testlio leans fully into human, crowdsourced manual testing, with reviewers describing a global network of vetted testers covering real devices and in-region scenarios that would be difficult to replicate with an internal team alone.

Most teams do split it, and I'd argue that's the correct outcome rather than a compromise. Exploratory testing is measured by what it finds that nobody anticipated, and regression automation is measured by how reliably it confirms what's already known, so a single tool optimising for both tends to weaken one. The useful thing to unify isn't the tool, it's the defect record, so a finding from crowdsourced work like Testlio's and a failing automated check like QA Wolf's land in the same place for triage.
