**What do you like best about Memtime?**

Here’s a polished review you could use:

I’ve been using Memtime to track my time and integrate it with our Xero Projects, and I’ve been really impressed with it.

As an accountant, accurate time recording is important, but I’ve always found manual timesheets or constantly logging in and out of different systems quite frustrating. Memtime has made this much easier.

What I particularly like is that I can work freely throughout the day, then go back at the end of the day and clearly see what I’ve worked on. From there, I can update my timesheets accurately without having to rely on memory. I also have the option to log time as I go along and link it directly with our Xero projects.

The interface is simple, efficient, and easy to use. It has made time recording much less of a chore and has helped me be more accurate with project time.

Overall, I think Memtime is a great piece of software and I would definitely recommend it.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

I love that Memtime can make suggestions based on activity that I can just approve or adjust on my timeline, making it so easy to figure out my billing. I also love their documentation and customer support; as someone who works in tech, I've seen a lot of terrible documentation, but theirs is actually really good, and support is always so helpful. The initial setup of Memtime was pretty easy, with the process of installing, allowing access, and setting up categories and rules to auto-suggest timeline billing based on my activity being straightforward, with the rules working really well.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

I would like to see them add billing, both per client and on a project basis, and it would be nice if it could actually track across devices. I use my tablets and even my phone for work and that's not tracked. It's not a big deal -- I am working on my tablet most of the time, but if my computer is down for some reason and I'm using my tablet, it would be nice to have it track.

**What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Memtime automates time tracking, cutting billing from days to hours and reducing non-billable hours. Its activity-based suggestions and good documentation make timeline management easier, allowing me to focus more on my projects.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

I like Memtime because I can view my times down to the minute or in thirty-minute blocks, which helps me either have a really quick overview of what I've done today or check what I've done in the last hour when I've switched between clients. The initial setup of Memtime was really quick and easy, and it's a very intuitive app.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

It would be good to be able to drag my time in batches to make just one time slot for a client. So say if I've worked five minutes here, thirty minutes there, ten minutes there, it'd be great to select those three time slots and make them just one entry that will go over to Xero projects.

Memtime saves me from writing Post It notes for tracking time and transferring it into Xero, making time management more efficient.

Memtime makes time tracking effortless. The automatic tracking works in the background and gives me a clear overview of what I’ve been working on without constantly starting or stopping timers. The interface is clean, easy to use, and fits naturally into my daily workflow. It saves time and helps me stay accurate without extra effort. I am using it daily and in case you have any problems their customer support is just awesome.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

The only thing I’m missing is more control over task visibility when integrating with ClickUp. I’d love to be able to manually mark (for example, with a star) which ClickUp tasks should appear when creating a time entry. This would make task selection faster and more focused when working with many tasks.

**What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Memtime solves the problem of forgotten or inaccurate time tracking. Because everything is tracked automatically, I no longer need to rely on memory or manual timers. This improves accuracy, saves time, and gives me better insight into how I actually spend my working hours.

Memtime's automated tracking capabilities make my team's time keeping very easy. Being able to integrate with Asana is a game changer for us. Everything is in one place and we don't have to worry about tracking our time manually. The reporting features are easy to use and provide a consistent format everyone can read.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

I wish Memtime had a way for managers to review timesheets and approve with either a review step or a digital signature. This would help us with our reporting requirements in a way that would remove one step and one system from our process.

We are required to track our time to meet contract obligations. Memtime makes tracking our time spent on specific projects simple . Without Memtime we're left to track our time manually. That introduces potential for human error and having to rely on our memory to recall our meeting schedule and calendar events.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

I love how easy Memtime is—it captures everything without needing me to manually log. Unlike other time-keeping apps I've used, Memtime does it all for me, taking the guesswork out of time tracking. The customer service is very responsive and friendly. They even extended my trial period a bit longer when I wasn't ready to move to the full paid version, which was very much appreciated. I also like that I can adjust details manually if needed, and being able to assign a client to a particular segment of work that Memtime captured is really helpful. The initial setup was very easy too, and I'm already recommending Memtime to others.

There's nothing that I dislike about it at this point. I've finished an extended trial period and can't wait to explore it further!

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

The auto task tracking with the integrations for ingestions allowing a detailed view of my time from multiple sources in one view. For example, the apps on my PC alongside my calendar from outlook but also the calls I was on in teams. It allows me to easily highlight where my time is going, but moreso highlighting multitasking for double billing and also, but easily quantify and highlighted unproductive draws on my time, especially as a Team Lead interacting with multiple other departments.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

Like most - The price but also the setup for individual users in a corporate setting.
The strongest for me was the single pane view, but this requires the higher tiered subscription and company administrators to authorise the integration. This can be cumbersome in some organisations.

**What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accounting for my time across various "grouping" of work from leading my team, my assigned work, and the work and topics I'm pulled into from other teams.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

I appreciate that Memtime is super easy to use and set up, requiring minimal input from me to get started quickly. It's a game changer in saving the time in my day and brain capacity because I no longer need to stop constantly to check if I've recorded my time. I love the tracking capacity that helps me improve my accuracy in billing and time management, even without thinking about it, my data is ready to bill when I need it. The privacy aspect is fantastic, being a desktop 'offline by default' app, protecting the sensitive information I use daily. The integration with XPM is great, allowing me to create jobs directly from Memtime without jumping back into my Xero manager file.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

Memtime is an easy software to navigate and implement, it operates in the background, tracking usage automatically so you don't have to remember to start or stop it. This feature makes it easier for us to capture work that might otherwise be forgotten. This has helped us recover 'lost' billable hours by the software automatically capturing the work we have forgotten to log. Additionally, the software supports integration with various other programs, which is particularly helpful when working with different clients. Another big positive is that all tracking data is stored on your device, not on a cloud based serve - which only yourself can access. The Customer support team are helpful with any queries, whether this be navigating the software or general help and support.

Since using Memtime, it has become a essential tool that we use everyday.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

Unfortunately, Memtime still does not integrate with Moneysoft, which poses a problem for us. Without this connection, we cannot determine from the time entry which client we were working on.

What I appreciate most is that once the initial setup is done, I don’t have to think about time tracking at all. There’s no need to click Start or Stop — Memtime automatically records my activity, recognises idle time, and identifies which program I’ve been using. By the end of the day, I can easily map my work to the right client with accuracy and without the usual hassle.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

The pricing is on the higher side. As a small creative agency of two, the available plans feel a little steep.

I transitioned from Toggl Track to Xero Projects, but quickly realised Xero’s tracking features were too limited. I came across Memtime on the Xero App Marketplace and found it far more effective than Toggl at capturing background activity. It provides a clear display of the applications I’ve used, and dragging them into a time entry feels intuitive.

Another major improvement is being able to log time spent on client communication, which I could never do properly before. The detailed activity history also gives me peace of mind, as I can provide clients with a transparent overview of my work whenever needed.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

I've been searching for a tool like this for quite some time! What I really appreciate is how it tracks my activity on my laptop, as well as my calendar events and phone calls. I often struggle to set aside uninterrupted time, and I frequently have to switch between billable work, administrative tasks, and then back to billable work for different clients. While I'm focused on problem-solving, I tend to lose track of time, which means I sometimes end up underreporting my billable hours. By the end of the day, I occasionally can't recall everything I've accomplished. Memtime has been fantastic in giving me clarity and making it much easier to accurately log my time. Implementation and connection to Harvest, to my phone and to my email was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

I would like to make Memtime accessible to all of my staff, but only some of us require the ability to track our phone time. I wish the system’s administration features allowed me to purchase different types of licenses for my small business. This way, those who need phone integration could have it, while those who don’t wouldn’t need to. As the business owner and IT manager, I’d also appreciate being able to manage everything from a single login. I know it’s possible to set up separate employee groups, but that solution isn’t ideal for my needs. Additionally, I’d like to see more data captured, such as details about emails reviewed or worked on—including the subject and people involved—or, for ChatGPT and browser sessions, information about the topics explored during a given period. The system is already excellent, but with a few more enhancements, it could become truly outstanding.

My team and I handle most projects using billable hours arrangements. As someone who wears many hats in a small business, I constantly switch between billable client work, administrative tasks, sales activities, relationship-building calls, and then back to billable work for other clients. Because I need to move quickly and adapt to changing priorities, time tracking has often been the first thing I neglect in order to better serve customers and solve problems. To be fair, I’ve sometimes ended up shortchanging myself by categorizing time as Admin when some of it was actually billable. The trial period with this tool has been a pleasure—it was easy to set up and has made tracking time much more effective. It’s giving me valuable clarity and defensibility for all of our time entries.

My business has been around for almost 10 years, and it’s only now that I’ve finally found the perfect tool to track my time precisely and effortlessly. Memtime has completely changed my daily workflow — it automatically records what I work on, and the integrations with Zoho Projects and Microsoft make it even easier. My timesheets now fill themselves out — it honestly feels like magic!

The interface is very intuitive, and connecting all my apps was surprisingly easy — I did everything myself. I also received excellent, personalized support during my free trial.

Filling out timesheets used to be one of my biggest pain points, but not anymore. I’m even willing to bet I’ll increase my revenue thanks to Memtime, because my billable hours are now tracked more accurately.

So far, I haven't found any issues with Memtime. An iPhone app could be quite handy for tracking phone calls also.

Memtime makes it really easy to track your time. As a consultant it is easy to assume your time but with Memtime I have been able to be much more accurate. I am now going to set my full team up with it to support our time tracking but also it will help with equitable pay.

I've been using Memtime for about a month now, and it's honestly been a lifesaver for my creative agency. I was struggling with accurately tracking where my time was going across different client projects - you know how it is when you're jumping between website builds, social media content, and client calls throughout the day.

What I love most is that it literally does everything for you. Once installed, I just forget about it and it quietly tracks every program, browser tab, and document I'm working in. No more trying to remember at the end of the day whether I spent 2 hours or 3 hours on that client's website redesign.

The biggest win has been finally understanding where my time actually goes. I thought I knew, but seeing the detailed timeline showed me I was undercharging for certain types of work and spending way more time on "quick tasks" than I realised.

I love the fact that its monitoring what applications I'm using, and is doing so from an application running on my local computer.  I don't want to publish to everyone what I'm doing on my laptop to the internet (which this DOES NOT do), but when I'm multi-tasking on my computer, I'm not stopping to record billable segments of time.

At the end of the day, MemTime allows me to bill for all those 10 to 15 minutes of work that otherwise would slow me down during the day.  In the end, MAKES ME MONEY!

Just install it, and then wait for the time when somebody (even yourself) wants to know what happened 2 or 3 days ago. Its amazing!

I absolutely love Memtime. It’s particularly helpful if, like me, you tend to bounce between tasks all day or get interrupted frequently.  It allows me to look backwards at my day for work I performed which was billable but which I would not otherwise have captured. I’ve looked for similar features in other software, but nothing compares to Memtime’s accuracy and ease of use. It integrates smoothly with Clio, and the end-of-day review makes it simple to assign time to matters.

That customer support is based in Europe and is therefore working while I am sleeping.

We have been using memtime for a couple of weeks, it was fairly simple to set up, it is an application on your computer. The best auto tracker of time on market, it tracks your activity on your computer and provides a clear and concise timeline. It connects with your calendar and provides the ability to lodge the time through memtime into Xero.

It is expensive and no monthly plan option, pricing model seems dated. It has bugged out a couple of times and staff believe it make their pcs a little slow at times.

Tracking software works well and as described.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

Their website has conflicting information that is misleading. The free trial is full featured so if you want what you trial you have to buy the maximum plan. You can't trial the lower plans. 

At their most deceitful, they offer to connect any software, but they won't. When pressed they say they need to have 50 customers request an integration or they wont bother. They don't say this anywhere on their website. Their website repeatedly says they will integrate any you need. Unless your software is listed you have no future integration path and no API access. 

The list price on G2 is in USD. They will only contract in Euro. They have a minimim quarterly payment. You find this our when you contract at the end of the trial period. 

Although in the plan comparison, the phone integration doesn't include the iPhone connection to track your calls as a premium feature. It is only available on the premium plan.

They don't care that the website misleads and is deceptive. They can quote rules when they want. As usual the power resides with them. In most countries misleading and deceiving behaviour is illegal. This is a company that doesn't care. Be warned.

It's easy to set-up and use. I like the fact that you can go back to review your time at a later date if you didn't manage to do it all during your work hours. It drastically increase our billing hours.

We do sometimes have little hiccups with the integration with Zoho but nothing out of the ordinary, comes with any integration.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

First, let me say that I have been in the Graphic Design/Web Design World for over 30 years. I am terrible at time tracking, hate time tracking and just plain don't do it many days. Then trying to remember what I did when I finally go to enter time or create an invoice is a nightmare. I've been waiting for software to come along that automatically tracks time for me. I finally found it in Memtime. If you are like me and just hate to track time, you should definitely check this out. It truly does what it says it does. It really is set it and forget it. I can review a week ago, two weeks ago, etc. It really just works. I haven't dug too deeply into the Rules and Exceptions yet, but what I have done works well.

I can definitely say that I recommend for people like me who just hate the time tracking requirements of my line of work.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

It is all very helpful, but it can be a bit confusing. I learn best by following along to videos, especially short videos. There is a lot to read through in the documentation. I would like it to be a bit more simplified, but even with no rules or exceptions, you can still see exactly what files, folders, websites, emails, etc. that you have touched at any point during the day.

**What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It tracks everything I do and I can always look at any day to see what files I touched and for how long. I no longer forget what I worked on.

Memtime was really easy to use and a great way to record my time. After looking at different time trackers, this was definitely the best option as it was easy to implement. Customer support we very helpful.

Nothing. It is great.to use. The only thing I wish was that it integrated with HubSpot.

IT captures everything and holds all of the data until you are ready to complete your timesheet.  From there it is just so simple to integrate with XPM and capture everything.  Not just what you can remember.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

Refreshing the data to try and bring a job out of XPM, it is often easier to create the job from within Memtime which will integrate with XPM.

**What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing my staff to focus on their work without having to worry about the time.  Which is making them more effective at capturing all the time, even if there are over runs and non chargeables.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

Memtime is incredibly easy to use. I don’tneed to think about starting anything. It tracks my work accurately, and I love that I can always make adjustments afterward. The automatic memory of everything I did during the day saves me so much time.

I also love how closely it integrates with Clockify. Ideally, I’d love to see all of Clockify’s features directly in Memtime, so I could rely on just one software. Right now, Clockify offers some similar options, but Memtime’s automatic tracking is far more seamless and detailed.

Together, they’re very powerful, but Memtime on its own already makes a huge difference in how I manage my time.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

The only downside is that it feels expensive when you’re already using another time tracking app (in my case, Clockify).

**What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t have the time to track everything live, and it’s not easy to remember 2–3 days later.

Memtime automatically captures everything I do on my computer without any manual input required. The passive tracking means I never forget to start or stop timers, and it gives me accurate insights into how I actually spend my time across different applications and projects. The timeline view makes it easy to categorize activities after the fact.

The initial setup and categorization can be time-consuming, and sometimes the automatic detection of activities isn't perfectly accurate, requiring manual adjustments. The interface could be more intuitive for quickly editing and organizing tracked time. Privacy concerns might also be an issue for some users since it monitors all computer activity.

That it runs automatically and I don't have to remember to start/stop a timer every time I task shift. The time reporting and analysis tools.

**What do you dislike about Memtime?**

Its 50% more expensive than other time trackers like Harvest and Clockify. My small business is downing in subscription models and its barely sustainable. However, I find the Memtime's mindless feature of it automatically running very valuable. Also I love the level of integrations with Clickup...but I've decided to go with Moxie for a project management tool so that's a moot point.

**What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to track time without the distractions of tracking time :). It allows me to see where I'm sinking time into projects unknowingly. Those 10 clients emails, sending invites, small minuscule tasks that add up to take hours from my week.

**What do you like best about Memtime?**

Memtime makes it incredibly easy to track time in increments of minutes, which is crucial for me in my consulting business, where I often juggle two or three tasks simultaneously.  The integration with accounting, calendar, and video conference apps ensures that no task goes untracked.  Memtime paid for itself in two weeks of previously untracked billable time.  I don’t know what I did without it.

Honestly don’t have anything I dislike about Memtime, for now, other than I wish there would be an IOS app being considered in the future.
