I also enjoy using it because I don't have to set up a bunch of projects, etc. before I can use it. It is easy to implement. I am a business owner. I am only interested in what I am getting done. I don't need all of the project and team bells and whistles. At the end of the day, I like having reminders of what I have gotten done. I actually used trial versions of several programs to compare them with Memtime (Timely, QuickBooks Time, Jibble and a few others). Several were cheaper but I didn't find them anywhere near as useful. I also like the reports. Detailed and colorful! I use it all the time. I find it motivates me to get more done. I haven't had to contact customer support, and I don't use it with other programs, so I can't comment on either of those things. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** I haven't experienced any negative issues with Memtime, TBH. I suppose the fact that it costs more than many of the other programs, but I do believe that you get what you pay for. Also, I have more confidence that this company will not disappear just when I've gotten comfortable with using their software. **What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?** I get frustrated and overwhelmed, feeling like I am not being productive. Memtime really helps to remind me of what I am accomplishing, so that I can take time away from running my business without feeling guilty. An unexpected benefit is that it encourages me to be more consistent and motivates me to get things done. I have ADHD, so this is a real issue for me. This program is excellent for people with ADHD because it shows you how you spend your time. Plus, memtime automatically populated my time sheet with the activity, so I could show the court exactly what I was working on and for how long. It saved time even on entering time! I've never been happier. Work away and then visit the platform at the end of the day, and a few clicks later and you're all logged and ready to move on. With 'rules' in place, this ends up being even less work! Customer service has been amazing with the few questions we had, and the integration and implementation were simple. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** Ideally, it will be great when clients and projects can sync amongst team members in an organization. The duplication of information isn't ideal. I was sorry to hear you had a bad experience with our app. So I researched your case and read all communications with our support team. Unfortunately, I have to say that the points you mentioned in this review do not reflect the reality of the situation. 1. You deliberately bought the wrong plan You had a free trial of Memtime Connect, which is integrated with your current timesheet provider, as you mentioned. The website explains what features can be found in what plan. After the free trial you decided to buy, and you voluntarily picked the wrong plan for your use case, despite the website preselecting the right plan at the time of purchase. It clearly shows that you would lose access to the integration with your current timesheet provider when you chose the Basic package. You could immediately solve this by upgrading back to the plan you chose for the free trial. 2. You didn’t allow us to connect your calendar Memtime constantly requests access to your calendar because you didn’t give the required permissions to Memtime to track your calendar. We offered you a support call and help articles to solve this, and you refused. 3. Customer support has been more than helpful Our team has explained everything to you in a very timely manner. They even prepared a custom Video Tutorial just for you so you can make the most of the Memtime Basic plan you purchased. We have a very personal customer support experience. Customers can book video calls and receive custom tutorial videos that suit their use case. 4. Nobody ever asked you to buy Memtime Premium Just like Memtime Basic, Memtime Premium doesn’t suit your use case. We told you that you need Memtime Connect because it has the integration to Quickbooks Time that you chose to test during your free trial. The app's Basic plan offers automated tracking, CSV and Excel Reporting, even automation of time entry creation, and many other features. Premium, for example, contains telephone system integrations or Enterprise Admin features. You've never tried Premium. So we don't know how you concluded that people would have "basically nothing" without Premium. 5. The installation works just like any other app To be honest, you can install Memtime blindfolded by simply clicking Next, Yes & Install a few times. Nevertheless, we are happy to offer help via video call and we have done so in your case. But you have decided not to accept help, which is fine. It seems to have worked, otherwise you probably wouldn't have bought it. 6. You chose a 2-year subscription to save money Our app never requires a 2-year subscription. You can get all plans in a quarterly, yearly, or 2-year subscription. You save up to 20% with a yearly subscription and up to 33% with a 2-year subscription. So, you have made this choice, just like whether you want Basic or Connect. To summarize: We have offered you every conceivable help and suggested solutions. You refused and insulted us at every step of the way. Nevertheless, you are still our customer. If you contact us again, I will assign you a new support agent you have not been in contact with. The agent will help you upgrade the Memtime Connect plan and restore the Quickbooks Time integration. ### 17. It's me as it is, it's capability of logging your time and giving a small snapshot of what it was. With a day where I could be doing 30 different tasks using multiple tabs and hopping all around the shop, I could easily miss out on billable hours. Using Memtime acts as a reminder and secures all my timesheets effortlessly. I have tried other systems, but they rely on timers that you stop and start, or wanted multiple levels of detail. The best way I have set it up for myself is to have multiple projects for each client. For example, Client X email Work, and another project. Client X website work. This allows me to create an itemised bill of activity types at the end of the month, as most of my clients are not interested in what I did for two minutes on a Tuesday. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** I have had some teething issues whenever there has been a new software update and the move from the old brand name to the new one was a little fractious. That being said, every single time I've reached out to the team, I have had a call with a team member who has thoroughly guided me through the system, (on zoom!) and then followed up afterwards to check everything is okay. I find it incredibly helpful that it tracks my movements in the background, allowing me to not worry about tracking how much time i'm spending on each project. It's also great that you can set rules which make it so that Memtime automatically guesses which project each of your movements should be assigned to. It was also very easy to download and start using. Would highly recommend! **What do you dislike about Memtime?** I wish you could set the rules to be in the format of: "when Condition X OR Condition Y OR Condition Z are met".. rather than only "when Condition X AND Condition Y AND Condition Z are met". as a workaround, i've had to make over fifty rules to encompass all the possibilities for each of my projects, rather than just one or two per project. This is its superpower. Sometimes, after a busy day working on many projects it can be a effort to go through the multiple recordings of what I have been working on. I love the fact you can just work all day on lots of different tasks then scan through and create your own time slips or approve the automated ones, you have full control. I use this every work day and my billing is up at least 20% since using this as I'm capturing time I would have lost through forgetting to set timers or getting distracted and missing timer starts. I have mine conencted to Freeagent which so far has worked perfectly. I also really like how you can go back to submitted (to Freeagent) timeslips and either edit the comments or even the time and this updates Freeagent within seconds. I like the granularity of the tracking where you can see detail of things like URLs you've visited, file names and types. Was very easy to setup. Thank you to Sinisha in customer supoport, we had a quick screenshare and talk through the features, very helpful. I'm looking forward to seeing future improvements and updates. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** It's not that I dislike this it just would be a good to have: Some cloud functionality for people that would like it.
