As my seniority level and the number of clients grew, time tracking became more tedious and harder to complete so Memtime came at the perfect time. I used it at the end of every day and it has made the end of every month a breeze. I can now jump from one project to another without the stress of putting on a new timer or changing clients. I have a way better overview of how I work and can find when I was working on something specific to remind me of the work. I also love the connection to Harvest. It has made my life a lot easier and alleviated the stress of what I found hardest in my job, time tracking. Now I have proof of exactly how long I was working on a project and found out I was missing valuable time I used to fix smaller issues. I really could not recommend this product enough. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** I have not looked at all the features. Sometimes I wish I could also see the hours I have put myself into harvest by time but I'm pretty sure that would be impossible from what information the harvest API gives, and most often I put in the time later. That just pushes me to use Memtime even more. **What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?** I jump a lot from client to client by need. I tested several auto-tracking softwares and Memtime is the only one that allows me to have the granularity that I need for my projects and is incrediby easy to use. I'm able to connect it to clickup (or PM software of choice) and it automatically books time where we need it to. It was easy to implement /integrate and I had it up & running with our system within minutes. I tested it for 2 weeks and then testing another program and I found I wanted to go back to using it just after a few days. I use it every day. Their customer service is impecable. When I had questions they got back to me right away. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** Unfortunately, it does not cross polinate the information from clickup to other programs. So should we need to use additional software in the future that would require that the same information we'd have to find another way to do that. I had entered my appointments in Outlook, but very often spontaneous IT support from the Operations department was added, which I hadn't recorded in Outlook. I had to use a number of tricks to laboriously work out what I had done and when. With Memtime this is now easy to do, which makes my life much easier. The German-speaking IT support was always very obliging and suggestions for improvement were gladly accepted. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** I am employed, but unfortunately my employer does not provide me with a proper tool for recording work. AVOID! It also stopped working on my new Mac. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** Absolutely shocking customer service. They plan on signing you up for 2 years into a rolling contract. They don't send out any notification that the contract is up for renewal. They simply send out an invoice and take the payment straight away. I stopped using the software after a few months and never realised I am still in a contract. Even their terms and conditions state that a payment reminder is sent and no emails are sent. If you check online, other users have the same issue. After 1 week of trying to get a refund of €240!!! they keep saying no. I understand that paying for a subscription you no longer need is frustrating. - We haven't received a support ticket from you Memtime doesn't work on your new Mac. We never had a single case of the software stopping to work. If we ever have such a case and cannot fix it, we will immediately refund. - Refund policy: Refunds cost us a fee. We refund in cases of hardship, e.g., severe illness or similar. We don't refund you if you forget to cancel your subscription because we consider this the user's responsibility. And yes, there are other users who have forgotten this in the past. - Cancellation: Users can cancel their subscription at any time before renewal, effective immediately, with one click and without a cancellation period. - Our customer service team are the nicest people I know. They politely explained the policy they had to follow. It's unfair to them to make it look like you were tricked into a 2-year contract. Users decide for themselves. It's understandable to choose the 2-year subscription because there is a 33% discount. - In our T&C, we state that we send payment reminders, and we, in fact, send them. We don’t send renewal reminders. This is the industry standard. I often forgot to activate my tracker, or to switch to a different activity. Then I had to look into my history to determine when and for how long I worked for a certain client or on a certain task. With Memtime I can just circle back to my log at the end of the day, and simply connect activities to projects. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** Memtime uses blocks of five or six minutes. I would like to be able to create blocks that might be 7 minutes, or 13 minutes of instance. Memtime runs in the background to capture everything my mouse touches. Even if I don't log into memtime, it is still capturing the information. Then I just log in at the end of the day and assign the work I did to my matters. When I am working on a longer project, if I leave that document and open another file that I need for that project, memtime captures that mouse click. By capturing everything I am doing, I can more accurately capture the time I spend on projects and because I am capturing ALL my time, I can now bill for ALL my time. In the past, there were times I would not record my time and then have to guestimate how much time it took. Studies have shown that attorneys typically underestimate the time it takes for any task. After connecting to Lawcus, I was having trouble getting it to work properly. I contacted memtime and their customer support was outstanding! They set up a Zoom meeting to help me get it sorted out. I teach Law Practice Management and I recommend this app to my students to help them capture their time when they go into practice. Whether they work for themselves, or someone else. **What do you dislike about Memtime?** I don't have anything that I dislike about memtime. It was so easy to install and get started. Maybe the only downside was that I didn't find it sooner! **What problems is Memtime solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was underbilling my time before b/c I had to remember to start and stop timers as I moved between tasks. Recently, we started using Memtime. The main goal when we started to use Memtime was to get rid of 'unknown' timeslots, or the guessing of how long a task took. The results have exceeded our expectations. One major advantage of Memtime is that we now limit unknown timeslots to a minimum. We no longer have to guess how long a task took or wonder where our time went :-). Memtime registers all actions done during the day in an easy to use app. All this, and the integration with our project management software, is really nice! The integration has significantly streamlined our timracking efforts. We no longer need to constantly switch to our PM software to register time efforts, we can now do this at the end of the day or week, bu still have an accurate overview of (allmost) all of our time spent... **What do you dislike about Memtime?** So far, for our usecase, we haven't found any downsides. Memtime tracks work anonymously in the background, so at the end of the workday, one can relax and go through their timeline to create very precise time entries.
