**What do you like best about Hostfully?**

I have had my property on Airbnb for about three years; however, I didn't have in-depth knowledge of the different PMSs. However, with my research, I found that Hostfully is a more complete solution for the management of your properties, regardless of how many properties you have. Their onboarding process was excellent. My onboarding person was Kana Gordon. She is very knowledgeable, on top of emails with quick responses to your inquiries, and more importantly, FRIENDLY and easy-going in her approach to onboarding the clients. I would definitely recommend Hostfully as a PMS and Kana Gordon as the onboarding specialist.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

It is not the cheapest PMS in the market.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Even though I have had my property on Airbnb for three years now, when I first listed it as a short-term rental, I initially wanted to list it in multiple places, such as Vrbo and Booking.com. However, managing the different calendars and platforms proved too complicated. Hostfully solves all that and more. I am pleased with Hostfully and how it will help me expose my rental through the different rental aggregators

**What do you like best about Hostfully?**

Hostfully as a white label property management booking software solution serves well in allowing multiple properties to be listed and properly accessed internally with universal and global rules, settings, and customization in place.  Integration with 3rd party partners extends capabilities and can enhance a business with automation and extended services.  Editing/changing reservation information, adding/removing/editing all line items including custom manually entered ones per reservation is incredibly helpful.  Custom template notifications for management, consignment owners, and guest renters with trigger settings is terrific.  Livechat support has been very helpful at times, though not always available.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

Weaknesses include: 

1. no place to take or store payment information.
2. no support for disputes or chargebacks (kicks out to payment processing partner)
3. no changelog history for when reservations are edited
4. Multiple glitch bugs remain unaddressed for long periods of time, specifically with regard to duplicate, triplicate, and quadriplicate automated entrees on line items - especially on older reservations or anytime an add-on is added/removed/changed internally... This has a high cost expense to me as a property manager as it destroys invoicing, paired with lack of a changelog history it has cost me tens of thousands of dollars in the past year alone.
5.  No "archive" for past pipeline activities. 
6. Add Ons section needs a complete rehaul - development team is aware of this and currently working on it.  In relation to categories, sections, organization, upselling etc

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My business is STRESS FREE RVS, primarily focused on RV and trailer rentals in San Diego and Southern California.  Hostfully provides me with booking software for handling reservations directly.

**What do you like best about Hostfully?**

Hostfully has been a reliable and intuitive platform for managing my short-term rentals, and it’s played a major role in keeping my operations organized and efficient. I really appreciate how easy it is to navigate - especially when coordinating calendars, connecting channels, and managing guest communication across multiple properties. The customer support team is consistently responsive and genuinely helpful, which gives me confidence when onboarding new listings or troubleshooting small issues. Integrations like PriceLabs sync smoothly, and the overall workflow feels thoughtfully designed for hosts who want to streamline their day-to-day tasks. While there’s always room for any software to continue evolving, Hostfully has been a strong, user-friendly solution that helps my business run more smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

They have recently updated their interface and that has come with some issues. Their team was quick to make the corrections needed to bring the software up to speed, though.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There were some small integration issues with the Title and Listing Descriptions. There were other items that were not being transferred immediately to the OTAs. All of this was post interface update and has not been an issue in some time, though.

I really find the ease of use and the customer support, as well as the integration of other platforms, which make things smooth and easy. Two thumbs up, definitely!

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

There are down times, of course, and at times glitchy due to maintenance or updates, but then again, that is understandable.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hostfully is the hub for other apps and smart integrations, bringing everything together for a seamless transaction. For me personally, the support I get whenever I have a question, I find the help, or at the very least, the genuine effort to help resolve my questions. The chatbot (Sloth), too, is super helpful.

This might be strange feedback for a SaaS but - the people. Having been a customer for 6+ years now, it has been amazing to get to know the people behind the product. From the founders to the tier 1 support team, the Hostfully team is truly dedicated to their clients' success and continually invests in improving the product, expanding the integrations zone, and eliminating the many headaches that come with property management in the vacation rental space. Our team lives and breathes on Hostfully, and we couldn't manage our 60+ units without it.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

Limited analytics and data tools. Lack of reliable infrastructure to handle complex owner statements.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamless Channel Management, a reliable integration hub for 12+ other software our business uses, a unified inbox with AI capabilities, which makes guest communication streamlined.

That I can connect to other channels that I was not able to with the previous PMS I had.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

Where to start! It's been a sad journey. They sell it as it will connect seamlessly with the top channels and it's not at all true. Airbnb was not too bad, but the connection with booking.com has been a nightmare. Not at all a seamless integration. They don't know and they don't tell you specific inputs to correctly set it up and in the mean time you are missing out reservations. The payment system with Stripe is complex and you can get claims by fraudulent guest and loss money. Much more work vs. automation. Their what'sapp connection is not bidirectional and they haven't fix I. You can't send attachments to the customers as they stated, the system does not work. You need to become an expert in the system to maximize the investment. Their customers support is reliable but take too much time to answer and some times does not have the answer.
In summary they spend a lot in selling but their PMS does not deliver.

I was able to connect with VRBO, which in the past PMS I was not. I can get some, very little bookings from them no direct bookings

**What do you like best about Hostfully?**

Hostfully has been a great solution thanks to its strong integrations and multi-channel support, which make managing listings much easier. I use the software every single day, and it’s incredibly effective whether you’re managing just one property or a growing portfolio. The automations and guest-communication features save us a ton of time, and their customer support is consistently responsive and helpful. The platform scales well as we grow and offers a clean, modern user experience. I recommend Hostfully to all of my clients because it has truly become an essential part of our operations.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

In my experience, the mobile app can feel somewhat limiting, as a few features I rely on in the desktop version are missing or harder to access, which slows me down when I’m managing properties on the go. Many times I just end up using Hostfully through my phone’s browser so I can access everything I need. I’ve also noticed that some features feel less mature or not fully built out yet, though I know Hostfully is always evolving and actively listening to customers, so I tend not to worry too much about it. Notable areas that could use more depth include parts of the owner portal and a few specific integrations. Additionally, there are occasional syncing issues that can cause listings to display inaccurately.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hostfully is solving a lot of the day-to-day operational challenges that come with managing short-term rentals. It centralizes all my channels, keeps my calendars and rates synced, and automates guest messaging so I’m not constantly juggling manual tasks. Having everything in one place, including integrations, workflows, owner tools, and guest communication, saves me hours each week and reduces errors. It also gives me confidence that my listings are accurate and my guests are getting timely information, which ultimately helps me deliver a better experience and scale my business more efficiently.

It very quick compared to other software systems I have used before and more modern. The account manager I have is really supportive and really cares about my account - this is something that is hard to find so a special thank you to Kana Gordon. When switching over from one platform to another it's learning from scratch again and the support is spot on with anything I need help with.

Not having a contact number for quick fixes.

It is intuitive and user friendly. Customer support is excellent and comes in many different forms AI, in person chat, online video calls etc. The ability to customise financial reports is invaluable for someone managing other peoples' properties and saves a huge amount of time compared to previous spreadsheet experiences. I have tried 3 previous PMS softwares but this has been the best experience by far

Being asked for a review after every minor interaction is a bit tedious but not a major issue

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes messaging guests very easy irrespective of which channel they book through or if they are direct bookings. It integrates easily with all of them. The facility for automated messaging is very flexible and powerful and saves significant time. Customisable reports (and support in customising them) saves an incredible amount of time at the stressful 'end of month' deadline

All channels are integrated into one platform, automated messaging, guidebook and upsell functions make managing about 20 vacation rentals much more efficient and allows our team more time to focus in increasing profits and guest satisfaction. We are able to be proactive rather than reactive! 

The onboarding process with Pablo was smooth and well guided, allowing us to thoroughly learn the system rather than just automating or self guiding. Our customer success manager, Tracy, is always available and happy to help with any inquiry or improvement.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

There are a few amenities and other minor settings that don't translate across all channels - extra double checks are required.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All bookings are in one spot and makes managing vacation rental bookings a breeze!
Automated messaging/templates/triggers takes away the constant need to check for bookings and maintain immediate responsiveness and constant monitoring as a host.

I like Hostfully for the range of features and integrations as well as how very clearly they are making improvements for Property Managers. However, Hostfully would not be as good as it is without Kana Gordon.

She's been the most amazing onboarding support team member I've ever had and I love working with her. I won't speak to anyone else if I can avoid it.

Nothing at all. Hostfully is always improving.

Hostfully allows me to manage a large portfolio by making sure all communication is in one place and we can list on multiple channels without doubling up our admin.

What I like most is the integrated calendar across channels. I also like the automatic communications for guests once they were set up. I also like the fast respond time by the property management team.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

I wish it had more AI functionality to respond to guest issues, so I wouldn't have to. The set up is very finicky. It takes a while to learn the different channels. Financial reporting also could be easier to use.

I use hostfully for about 40 listings. It works quite well for posting listings on multiple platforms like VRBO and Airbnb. It is by the cheapest PMS that I have found and it does a great job. All of the request I had for updates were implemented into the software which is great. Customer support ai is really good and when they cant answer a real person usually responds in less than 20 min. Pretty impressive tbh. I have no reason to switch.

sometimes it is slow to sync with calendars which can be annoying but i'm not sure they can do anything to speed that up.

First, the integration was easier than expected and well supported by the Hostfully team.  We had three Onboarding sessions included in our integration and it was very well structured - we had "homework" after each session and we could only schedule our next session once we had completed our homework.  We could reach out if we were having difficulty with our homework, but that really didn't happen.

My wife LOVES the messaging functionality.  She really LOVES it.  She uses all the triggers and LOVES how she doesn't have to review all of our listings everyday to make sure they've gotten all the messages they need before, during and after their stay.  The only thing we're not using are the automatic review generations, but I'm sure we will in the near future.

We also integrated with Pricelabs and that was seamless and simple.   

The other thing that it allowed was the integration of Booking.com.  Before we signed up with Hostfully, we had an aborted attempt to set up our listings with Booking.com - very clunky and hard to correct "mistakes".  With Hostfully, we just turned them on, updated a few mandatory fields and, voila!, we were getting bookings within a week of setting them up.  

I tell all my hosting friends about Hostfully...

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

Nothing...  it does everything we want and it seems like they're constantly working to address feedback from clients.  The only thing it doesn't solve for me is my accounting in Quickbooks, but that's more of a Quickbooks problem than Hostfully.

Managing multiple platforms (AirBnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Google Short Term Rentals, Pricelabs) in one place.

I like how color-coordinated the calendar is, and the flexibility of converting leads to booked guests.

I really do not dislike it, but I just hope there is an improvement when designing a template. The fonts are limited, and the spacing and indention are too spacious so when a guest reads our automated messages, the space between Hi and the next paragraph is so far that it looks like we clicked "Enter" twice. 

Also, we could have Airbnb co-hosts reflect their messages in the Hostfully inbox so that when the primary host reads previous messages in Hostfully, she won't get confused or will be able to easily catch up with previous conversations.

Lastly we are having trouble adding my email address as an "added user" so at the moment I am borrowing my boss's account to be able to access the PMS.

I love how we can easily block a property and it reflects real time on the OTA calendars.

Reports are not intuitive and because its so critical for them to be accurate - particularly owner reports - i have wound up spending hours trying to create the "perfect report" with a hostfully rep - not a good use of either of our times. There should be more. set plug and play reports, Even Hostfully reps acknowledge how wonky reporting us and oftern can't figure out the answers without tech help. Not the reps fault!

Also hate that instant messaging. with long delays often - is the go to problem solving platform. Our plan allows for direct one on ones, but its not straight forward how to schedule those

Messaging and triggers is painful to set up and formatting - that which the guests sees as our company's front face - is wonky and just doesn't look professional. We pay extra for hospitable so we can have a user friendly and professional messaging interface

I switched management softwares and Hostfully is easy to use and has a super fast customer service. Although, the owner portal is very basic and there is no owner app. Owners complain a lot about how little they can do and see vrs my old management software which is a big down side. The integrations with vrbo and Airbnb are great.
Wish there was an owner app and more features for owners to keep transparency for them.
Reports are hard to read and the net amounts are not transferred each month which makes owners super confused on how much income they have

The support level is excellent.  Well-managed and caring and you can speak with a human being.  Prompt, relevant answers.

As a smaller vacation rental business owner (four properties or less), it took a lot of time to invest in getting set up and integrating (although supported through this). Pricing is a little high for a smaller business owner who may not use all the functions available and use it less frequently.  However, I would not be without it now and find it easy to use.

Hostfully has allowed me to manage different vacation rental properties and integrate with various channels.  It prevents the risk of double bookings and gives me more exposure to different channels and platforms.  I have also been able to integrate with dynamic pricing software and improve my revenue.

What I appreciate most about Hostfully is that their team is constantly making updates and improvements to the software according to feedback provided by clients.

What I dislike most, though it doesn't effect me enough to detract from my overall impression of the software, is that the app isn't as functional as the website. While I realize the app may always be somewhat less functional than a website outside of mobile devices, I do believe there is room for improvement.

I like the Pipeline for instant glance of the status of the bookings and I like the app for on the go tasks. The customer support is very good!

I wish the app had more functions, it is limited in what you can do with it. You have to wait until you can get home on your computer to edit bookings. We had a horrible experience integrating with VRBO and Booking.com. Not sure whose fault that was. It could have been VRBO and Booking.com's issues.

The worst thing about Hostfully is the lack of support when needed. Our rentals are busiest on weekends and it is impossible to get support then.

Hostfully has met most of our needs in terms of short term property management. It has automated most of our tasks and streamlines processes. We have become a much more efficient business since using Hostfully.

Hostfully PMP is my command center for my short-term rental business.  I can handle 99% of my tasks through their web-based software.
Their support is superb!!  I normally prefer calling support.  However, thier chat feature is so quick and helpful, Hostfully is the one site I prefer chat to calling in.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

I would prefer a few more reporting options (like average response time to a guest message and average review rating with all of the OTAs/Direct-book website included)

Hostfully's PMP connects my pricing, electronic lock, noise monitoring, and cleaning software with my AirBNB, VRBO, direct-booking website, and other OTAs in one, convenient location.

**What do you like best about Hostfully?**

Easy to use and very intuitive.  Great software to manage and distribute your listing to different channels.  Plenty of flexiability.  But best of all an outstanding software connections and more with ALL the listing sites, dynamic pricing, your website and direct booking.  So many softwares  in the industry easily dovetail with Hostfully, and that is a blessing.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

I am small and I do wish Trip Advisor connected for less than 15 listings.  I have wished to speak with a representative in person and that is a bit tricky.   Chat is often not enough and so much more can be checked/clarified person to person live.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily connects to the many many many softwares integrating pretty seamlessly.  It is easy to use.  Thus making channel distribution to unit door opening easy.

As an avid user of Guesty for Hosts previously, I was needing a more well rounded platform that could handle more as my company and portfolio grew. I looked aorund to many PMS systems but none compared to Hostfully with their reporting level and owner's reports.

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

Just like every PMS, there are issues that arrise. There has been many issues (usuallly smaller in scale such as a feature not working correctly or certain messages failing to send) that I wish would be resolved a little quicker than they are.

**What problems is Hostfully solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better API connection with VRBO, better reporting for tax remittance, better owner reports and owner portal use.

I like being able to sync my listings and calendars across rental sites

**What do you dislike about Hostfully?**

So much! 

The app: 
- it is slow & crashes often
- only shows messages and calendar
- does not distinguish between read/unread messages
- you can't access the listings themselves
- can't check on invoices/transactions
- no support chat options (FYI, this is the only way to speak to someone & it must be online, they can take over an hour to get back to you, and you have to leave the page open waiting for them to respond)

The hosting platform site:
- the site is slow to load (if it even does) and often crashes
- it is difficult to view and move photos within the listings
- the photos are cut off in the listings on their direct booking page (everything is horizontal). Why not offer grid views, orientations, etc?
- there is a "you are not a robot" confirmation on the bookings page which times out often and crashes
- text message alerts are not consistent, leading to missed guest messages 
- getting someone to respond to what you actually ask about on the online support chat feels like pulling teeth. They are really talented at talking around an issue or ignoring what you ask about
- their transaction lists are confusing, lack information, and make it difficult to match up transactions into your bank account with particular bookings

Guidebook:
- this is actually pretty nice. Only disappointment is that you can only link to the entire guidebook, not to specific tabs (some guests need the specific link)




Overall, this is a platform that feels closer to 2005 than 2024. It is clunky, not user friendly, and expensive. However, it is the customer service that makes all this feel like an insult and a money-grab. Buyer beware

We signed up for a one-year contract to use Hostfully for our rental management (to have the same listing acoss platforms, to sync our calendars, and to accept direct bookings on our personal website)

There are always ways to improve software.  We've made do with work arounds, but I'd love to see them tackle some of their roadmap items even faster.

It's the core of our VR business.  I can't imagine running a VR company without it.

Hostfully does everything for you! From calendar management to sending communication to your guests.  The help feature and the humans that manage it are amazing!  I can't say enough about the support I get from them.

My Hostfully Account Manager is probably the only downfall I have run into.  I don't get a lot of support from her or follow-up.  However, the online support is fantastic.

I really appreciate Hostfully' s customer service and the time and patience they exhibit when dealing with issues. I've also loved that they integrate with the top tier booking platforms to provide seamless operations for multi-channel calendar management.

Onboarding is long and tedious. Also, the ability to program templates for multi-currency usage has been an issue. In addition, the reports generation for owners can be somewhat clumsy and confusing.
