What do you like best about Hostfully - Property Management Software?

I have had my property on Airbnb for about three years; however, I didn't have in-depth knowledge of the different PMSs. However, with my research, I found that Hostfully is a more complete solution for the management of your properties, regardless of how many properties you have. Their onboarding process was excellent. My onboarding person was Kana Gordon. She is very knowledgeable, on top of emails with quick responses to your inquiries, and more importantly, FRIENDLY and easy-going in her approach to onboarding the clients. I would definitely recommend Hostfully as a PMS and Kana Gordon as the onboarding specialist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hostfully - Property Management Software?

Hostfully as a white label property management booking software solution serves well in allowing multiple properties to be listed and properly accessed internally with universal and global rules, settings, and customization in place. Integration with 3rd party partners extends capabilities and can enhance a business with automation and extended services. Editing/changing reservation information, adding/removing/editing all line items including custom manually entered ones per reservation is incredibly helpful. Custom template notifications for management, consignment owners, and guest renters with trigger settings is terrific. Livechat support has been very helpful at times, though not always available. What do you dislike about Hostfully - Property Management Software?

Weaknesses include:

1. no place to take or store payment information.

2. no support for disputes or chargebacks (kicks out to payment processing partner)

3. no changelog history for when reservations are edited

4. Multiple glitch bugs remain unaddressed for long periods of time, specifically with regard to duplicate, triplicate, and quadriplicate automated entrees on line items - especially on older reservations or anytime an add-on is added/removed/changed internally... This has a high cost expense to me as a property manager as it destroys invoicing, paired with lack of a changelog history it has cost me tens of thousands of dollars in the past year alone.

5. No "archive" for past pipeline activities.

6. Add Ons section needs a complete rehaul - development team is aware of this and currently working on it. In relation to categories, sections, organization, upselling etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This might be strange feedback for a SaaS but - the people. Having been a customer for 6+ years now, it has been amazing to get to know the people behind the product. From the founders to the tier 1 support team, the Hostfully team is truly dedicated to their clients' success and continually invests in improving the product, expanding the integrations zone, and eliminating the many headaches that come with property management in the vacation rental space. What do you like best about Hostfully - Property Management Software?

What do you dislike about Hostfully - Property Management Software?

Where to start! It's been a sad journey. They sell it as it will connect seamlessly with the top channels and it's not at all true. Airbnb was not too bad, but the connection with booking.com has been a nightmare. Not at all a seamless integration. They don't know and they don't tell you specific inputs to correctly set it up and in the mean time you are missing out reservations. The payment system with Stripe is complex and you can get claims by fraudulent guest and loss money. Much more work vs. automation. Their what'sapp connection is not bidirectional and they haven't fix I. You can't send attachments to the customers as they stated, the system does not work. You need to become an expert in the system to maximize the investment. Their customers support is reliable but take too much time to answer and some times does not have the answer.

In summary they spend a lot in selling but their PMS does not deliver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integrations with OTAs can sometimes be tricky, and we know how critical it is to get them working seamlessly.

Hostfully has been a great solution thanks to its strong integrations and multi-channel support, which make managing listings much easier. I use the software every single day, and it’s incredibly effective whether you’re managing just one property or a growing portfolio. The automations and guest-communication features save us a ton of time, and their customer support is consistently responsive and helpful. The platform scales well as we grow and offers a clean, modern user experience. I recommend Hostfully to all of my clients because it has truly become an essential part of our operations. What do you dislike about Hostfully - Property Management Software?

In my experience, the mobile app can feel somewhat limiting, as a few features I rely on in the desktop version are missing or harder to access, which slows me down when I’m managing properties on the go. Many times I just end up using Hostfully through my phone’s browser so I can access everything I need. I’ve also noticed that some features feel less mature or not fully built out yet, though I know Hostfully is always evolving and actively listening to customers, so I tend not to worry too much about it. Notable areas that could use more depth include parts of the owner portal and a few specific integrations. What do you like best about Hostfully - Property Management Software?

It is intuitive and user friendly. Customer support is excellent and comes in many different forms AI, in person chat, online video calls etc. The ability to customise financial reports is invaluable for someone managing other peoples' properties and saves a huge amount of time compared to previous spreadsheet experiences. All channels are integrated into one platform, automated messaging, guidebook and upsell functions make managing about 20 vacation rentals much more efficient and allows our team more time to focus in increasing profits and guest satisfaction. We are able to be proactive rather than reactive!

The onboarding process with Pablo was smooth and well guided, allowing us to thoroughly learn the system rather than just automating or self guiding. I like Hostfully for the range of features and integrations as well as how very clearly they are making improvements for Property Managers. However, Hostfully would not be as good as it is without Kana Gordon.
