# What is the top MFA platform for securing enterprise applications?

Looking at MFA options specifically for enterprise-scale applications, where it’s less about “does it work” and more about can it handle thousands of users, integrations across critical apps, and strict security standards.

Here’s what I’m seeing from the G2 Enterprise Grid, curious what others think about these in real-world enterprise rollouts:

Microsoft Entra ID: Deeply integrated with the Microsoft ecosystem, strong compliance and reporting, and widely adopted across large enterprises.

Salesforce Platform: Makes sense for orgs already built on Salesforce, with native MFA controls for protecting CRM and customer data.

Google Authenticator: Free and simple, but adoption at enterprise scale can be tricky without centralized admin and recovery options.

Cisco Duo: Longstanding player in enterprise security with adaptive MFA, broad integrations, and advanced policy controls.

IBM Verify CIAM: Enterprise-focused identity and access management platform with built-in MFA, designed for complex use cases.

I’ve also seen Okta and Ping Identity pop up a lot in enterprise circles. Anyone here managing MFA at scale, which platform has actually been the most reliable for securing enterprise applications without killing productivity?

Also curious how the rollout looks at scale, stuff like SSO integrations, user onboarding, and self-service recovery. In my experience, the tech is only half the battle…the real headache is getting thousands of users set up without drowning the IT team in support tickets. Does anyone have war stories (good or bad) from enterprise rollouts?
