It's rich with features yet remains simple to use which has contributed to our adoption rate! It allows just the right amount of customization so that it can align with your internal project management processes, such as custom forms that can be used to open a project or create a task within an existing project. You can also create custom fields that can capture project data then use them in reports, custom views, as well as create custom project templates and task (action card) templates. Hive is extremely transparent with their roadmap. Customers can submit feature requests and other customers can vote on the requests indicating popularity. Thus a lot of the features Hive releases, which are several and often, are based on collaboration from their customers. And did I mention their customer support is wonderful?! There are so many features that are worthy of mention, but instead of trying to list them all here, I would encourage anyone to give Hive a try. Everything is cleanly laid out so you can organize what you need to get things done for a project. The newest Hive integration of Tabs is super helpful for me to attach high-priority client requests without thinking too hard about what filters and statuses to switch over to. **What do you dislike about Hive?** Sometimes Hive is a little slow, but I think it's a cache issue. This isn't really a dislike but I would love more integration of different tools and platforms geared to social media management. **What problems is Hive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hive is making to more accessible to get bulk actions taken care of. The placeholders and template implementation make everything go much faster in a day-to-day workflow. Before Hive, my way of taking notes was: write notes in Mac Notes app, transfer to Word, edit, copy action items into an email, email notes along with action items to the team, send individual tasks to appropriate people in project management software. With Hive, that process is as easy as: write notes in Hive (the entire team can automatically see and contribute to notes in real-time), then right-click any notes that involve action items and choose to the appropriate people to assign. Genius! Another awesome feature is chat - you can chat with individual team members or groups. If you discuss something that requires action, just drag the chat into a project, and you've got an action assigned! You can also sync your email into Hive. I haven't used that feature, but I assume you can easily turn emails into actions. Many of my team members live in "email land" and didn't want to open up our previous project management software - Hive makes email and project management the same! I can't believe how many thoughtful and detailed features this software has. We've only been using it a couple months, so I don't even know everything it can do. But it's been amazing for our small marketing department inside a larger organization. **What do you dislike about Hive?** The only thing I don't love about Hive is a vague and hard-to-explain feeling about the way projects are organized. Perhaps I'm just too used to my old project management software after using it for 8+ years, but the way Hive visually displays all my projects just doesn't feel right. I can't put a finger on what isn't right or what I would do to improve it, but it's probably just something I will get used to after I've used Hive for a bit longer. **What problems is Hive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before, our team relied on emails and individual members keeping track of projects. They make it so easy to set up up the templates, especially using gantt chart. They work quickly to patch bugs and push helpful updates and new features. Most of the inconviences we noted at the start have been patched in one form or another. I love how much customization there is for adding projects, status, and how many pageview options there are. One thing that I liked the most about hive and its upsides is it organize my tasks very well as well as I can easily search for my other colleague's task if there's an instance that they need my support and I need to find their task. **What do you dislike about Hive?** Sometimes there's a bug that keeps it slow. I get my tickets every day in my system and it lets me plan everything in a very organized and easy to maintain system. I use it every day and their customer support is incredible. We have integrated into all of our computers in the offices and in the shop floor. Almost anyone can create a IT Ticket, **What do you dislike about Hive?** It would be great if Hive would autorespond or if I could directly respond to the users that are creating a ticket. Another thing is, some of our computers on the floor do not have internet and they cannot access the ticketing system by clicking on the link. **What problems is Hive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before I would get text messages, emails and phone calls from people that needed help with their computers, software, phones and access to the building. Hive is easy to use on my laptop as well as on the go on my mobile. **What do you dislike about Hive?** Some members of my team are not as tech-saavy or willing to adopt a new platform like Hive. This is not really a complaint about Hive itself, but rather a wish that my entire team would be more on board with using it to the extent that we should. **What problems is Hive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hive is allowing my team to avoid sending multiple emails back and forth regarding any given project, and hunting down various emails and attachments in our email inboxes.
