What problems is HighLevel solving and how is that benefiting you?

automation setups, email marketing, multi channel sales campaigns , project mamangement, lead collection and management, advanced customer management, product and payment processing.

it is helping by automating very complex systems, which speeds up our work, makes us more efficient and productive, and keeps the overhead cost low because we dont have to hire as many people as we would have to wothout these systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Inflexible and full of ads, terrible support"

What do you like best about HighLevel?

Toolsets for marketing are decent, integrate with most of what you need for marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HighLevel?

The platform is inflexible on integration with third party phone systems and SMS providers. As a SaaS business, I already have an SMS provider and phone numbers purchased. I can easily do an API integration, but they do not allow those to be used. Everything is connected through their white label "LeadConnector" solution that does not support outside providers.

Additionally, the platform is full of ads. If you are an agency or SaaS provider running your customers on sub-accounts, you have to turn off a million pop up ads. Everything is built on forcing you to upsell your existing customers on their solutions. Either their pricing for agencies is too low or they have a bad business model.

Lastly the support is terrible. Chat is buried amongst 10 links and they push everyone to join a zoom call, which is not always a good option depending on your work location. Simple questions take an hour to get answered as you sit in a waiting room awkwardly waiting to be connected to a live Zoom conversation.

Would never recommend this platform to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're glad to hear that you find the marketing toolsets effective and appreciate the breadth of integrations we offer. However, we're truly sorry to learn that your experience with integration limitations, in-platform messaging, and support did not meet your expectations.

Regarding integration with third-party phone systems and SMS providers: our Conversation/Phone APIs are wide open, allowing any third party to be connected. You can find all the documentation at https://developers.gohighlevel.com/

On the matter of in-app messaging and upsell prompts, we understand how that can be disruptive and I'll pass this feedback on to the team.

Finally, we sincerely apologize for the support experience you've had. Our intent with Zoom support is to offer faster, more personalized help, but we understand it's not always ideal in every situation. We're currently improving both live chat and ticket-based options to ensure more flexible and efficient support pathways.
