What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

1. The platform is very intuitive in assessing the skillsets of a technical candidate in a very scientific manner. Instead of relying on resumes to make a decision, HackerRank helps us make informed decisions by screening and shortlisting folks at the very beginning stage of the hiring cycle.

What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

Test creation for custom roles is a task as it requires thorough library navigation. Having pre-built tests for every role will be a great time saver for hiring managers who are running short on time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HackerRank Developer Skills Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are trying to ensure fairness in assessments for every candidate in the pipeline and reduce any form of bias. Fairness can be achieved to a large extent by ensuring there is consistency in the hiring process and assessments curated by us irrespective of the role they're being assessed on. What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

As a business owner, I need to ensure my teams are productive and at their hiring best. We have hired candidates manually in the past and invested many many manual hours to get to the right candidate. However, this kind of hiring was very old school and not intuitive enough. With HackerRank, we have turned the process around and automated end-to-end hiring, thereby hiring the right bunch of folks who are the right fit for the job. What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

Plagiarism detection could be a tad better as there have been instances where the flag was a false alarm that penalized worthy candidates who hadn't engaged in any form of malpractice.
