It almost always matches the interviewer's impression. But HackerRank is very willing to meet with and support our technical teams, so I know they care and would prioritize us and our adoption. The tool was a such a game changer for RecOps - we had tried another tool for our virtual technical interviews after we began remote interviewing, and it was more manual to adopt. HackerRank operates almost invisibly in a lot of our processes saving us a lot of time. All in all, I want to be transparent in my review and say that I have heard from folks who have technical complaints with HackerRank, but many have compliments too. Since then it's evolved exponentially, always listening to our needs along the way. The tool is brand conscious- with some customizable components that make it fit better for your company. The UI itself is sleek and more developed than many competitors in the same business. But the best part has been the partnership and the company's ability to listen to their customers that has created a variety of test types and the ability to truly customize the experience for our candidates. HackerRank has come to our aide to help build, expand, test, and build again. It makes our lives so much easier when we can use the integration with SmartRecruiters to just filter the results we're looking for. The latest SR integration enhancement was fantastic! Interviewers can just click the link from the candidate profile-- that's been a huge win recently as well, with fewer clicks or searching. The newer development testing tool is exactly what we needed to interview some higher-level candidates that wanted to think through problems, not necessarily execute code on every line. There's some improvement there to be done but we're feeling more "free" with this test type. The whiteboard is still a fan favorite for those interviewers that miss that in-person experience of drawing on the board. I think we'll get even more use once our managers have all been more thoroughly trained on all the capabilities. ### 34.
