We've been using Give Lively since 2020, and we're very happy with the product. It's free, and it's made our donation process look much more professional than it did before. They offer an attractive widget that's easy to embed on our website. I also like that we can create custom fundraisers for different audiences and connect those campaigns to Salesforce campaigns. I find the interface really intuitive; once the campaign is designed and launched, we never have to think about it again. It works reliably in the background while we focus on our mission. As a nonprofit focused on housing support, food assistance, disaster relief, youth empowerment, and emergency assistance across Florida, we value how Give Lively helps us build donor trust, manage fundraising campaigns efficiently, and improve access to support for families in need. One area that could be improved is having more advanced customization options for campaign pages, donor forms, and branded event pages. Sometimes nonprofits need more flexibility to match their website branding, program-specific messaging, and donor engagement strategies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We particularly like the event ticketing features, which make it easy to customize ticket tiers and track attendees. The campaign pages are simple to customize and allow us to integrate our branding colors and images, while offering a straight forward but polished front-end donor experience. GiveLively's customer service has been excellent, and they even added an integration for Donor Advised Funds after I contacted them to request it. As a small nonprofit school with almost no budget for development, this platform being free to use is hugely beneficial (all we pay are credit card fees when donors don't cover them). Our main complaint is that there is no CRM function to allow us to manage donors from the platform. We can download CSV files with donor information from campaigns and events, but must then import that data to another system to effectively use it. We have also HATED the new "tipping" feature and wish that would go away. GiveLively does not make it clear to donors that a 0% tip is optional, or even how to do that, so on our campaign pages we have added a callout to warn donors of this (as we've had people complain). Super easy to set up and use. There are no fees besides the credit card processing fees through Stripe and PayPal. And while they do offer donors the option to donate to Give Lively, it isn’t selected by default or pushed aggressively the way some other competitors do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Certain things still aren’t there yet, or could be improved. For example, the event ticketing can’t be embedded on your website. The smaller domain widget also has lag and, during the donation process, it jumps back up to the top of the page (at least in my experience). They also don’t offer other features that could be useful, such as setting up a form to sell products to benefit the nonprofit, etc.

It is hard to be critical of the software being that this is a free tool, but compared to the other tools/softwares that do the same GL is lacking - and it is understandable. But, things like not being able to segment donors, mixing fundraisers and donors, not having an specific tool to separate monthly and one tine donors,... givelively is a non-profit fundraising tool for non-profits.. they make it simple to set up campaigns, easy for donors to click and donate and make fees clear and upfront. we have been using givelively for almost 8 years and it is a reliable platform with a smooth interface.. solid customer service a team that wants to help us succeed and really the best platform I have used in nearly two decades of fundraising online.. Pricing is obviously a huge win for non-profit orgs - since it's essentially free from the benevolence of philanthropists.

As a nonprofit with a growing donor base, we greatly appreciate the pricing model. I also value the user-friendly interface and robust support resources. Right now, I feel the default tip amount is set too high, which can be concerning when donors are making large gifts. I would love to be able to customize my landing pages more, start a fundraiser for a campaign that is hosted by my organization, and be able to create fundraisers for my board members and provide their fundraiser link to them. GiveLively is a great tool for nonprofits with low budgets who are just beginning to ramp up their giving campaigns. GiveLively's tools and UI is super simple, with everything easy to find. I like the fact that you can create and link together campaigns and events to make sure that no funding or lead gets lost. I do also love the DAF integration! And the different embed options. I don't like that you can't manage donors in the app. Like, I can pull a report but then have to manually segment, etc., into another donor software either with a spreadsheet or through zapier to do any of the donor retention.
