I highly recommend doing so, but if you don't know what you're doing with relational databases it's easy to mess something up or just put something in the wrong place. I also hate that adoption across the enterprise is still a challenge. Buy in can be hard. It's innate flexibility and customization options set it above many of the out-of-the-box nonprofit CRMs. You can store almost any data your non-profit collects with just a few custom objects, fields, etc. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud)?** It absolutely requires a knowledgeable administrator. Does this have to be a full-time position? No. Does it have to be someone that's passionate about learning the system and championing the tools to the rest of the organization? All forms, surveys, donors, donations flow into Salesforce. We can see when someone has donated, when they've signed a petition, when they've volunteered. These licenses are FULL licenses, the same as any company paying for NPSP licenses would get. This is a huge thing for a tiny organization, or one that has few database users, saving thousands of dollars. The Power of Us Hub is the online community that provides advice, fellowship, guidance, problem-solving assistance, camaraderie, and all other kinds of support you can imagine, for FREE. Making use of the Power of Us Hub is critical in setting up your database properly, and growing in your knowledge as you develop with your system. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud)?** Salesforce can be a bit tricky at first, but no more so than other highly featured products. The interface has recently changed and there are still some functions that can only be handled in Classic (old interface) and not yet in Lightning (new interface); this can be frustrating, especially if there are certain features you've come to rely on. **Recommendations to others considering Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud):** This is a great product that is used by huge for-profit corporations the world over. Salesforce NPSP has allowed us to track our members and their contact information in a way that simplifies our communications, creation of a community directory, payment tracking, creation of class rosters, and pretty much anything else that has to do with managing members. The fact that we were able to set up a world-class database for FREE is amazing, considering our very small budget. ### 8. The reports are also essential; it really helps to see a bigger picture of the data, and I love how fine-grained you can get. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud)?** Pulling reports can sometimes take an excessive amount of time depending on the amount of data involved, so that gets really annoying. I think Salesforce takes a really long time to learn. We use Donorperfect for donations and Salesforce for member data. We are waiting to move the donation records over to Salesforce till a few changes are made. We are a professional association and don't use the fundraising feature, which is the main selling point of NPSP for most non-profits. We have been able to turn of all those features and/or adapt them for our uses as needed. It's difficult, but not impossible to set it up without an implementation partner. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud)?** There's a major learning curve if you don't have an implementation partner. The software itself is free if you are an non-profit, but implementation is still quite pricey. It is a sophisticated system with lots of features to customize your company needs. This system grows as your company grows. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud)?** It is more for sales data tracking than for nonprofit organizations. Some of the languages have to be modified to reflect it accordingly.
