**What do you like best about Extreme Reach?**

Extreme Reach is very user friendly. If an issue ever arises, the Extreme Reach support team is always available and very helpful. The Final Cut Pro export integration is great for making sure your video uploads are correct. The speed and accuracy of sends is important with getting spots out to the stations quickly, especially when we're working down to the wire. Extreme Reach is a cost-effective option for our trafficking needs.

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

I honestly have no complaints. If a problem ever arises, the Extreme Reach support team is ready to help. They have actually reached out to us to ask if there's anything that they can do to improve our experience.

**What problems is Extreme Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Extreme Reach, we would cut all our spots to physical media, label, package, and mail to the stations. Trafficking through extreme reach has cut our workload down significantly. What use to take a whole day, now only takes an hour or so, leaving us to do more creative work. It also cuts down on cost since we no longer need to purchase packing supplies or postage.

**What do you like best about Extreme Reach?**

Extreme Reach has been a valuable partner for managing talent payments and SAG-AFTRA compliance. I appreciate having a centralized platform to process payments, access talent records, review payment histories, and manage production and reuse activity across multiple campaigns. The customer support team is knowledgeable, responsive, and willing to help resolve complex union and payment questions. Overall, it helps streamline a process that would otherwise be much more time consuming and reduces administrative risk for our Business Affairs team.

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

The main issue is that the system doesn’t consistently understand how cycle dates and MPUs should adjust based on applicable SAG-AFTRA waivers or commercial codes, such as the Missouri Valley Commercials Code. This can make the cycle periods, expiration dates, and reuse timelines unreliable without manual review. For Business Affairs teams, that creates extra work and compliance risk because these details directly affect talent payments and renewal timing.

**What problems is Extreme Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Extreme Reach simplifies the administration of talent payments by serving as a centralized paymaster for SAG-AFTRA and non-union performers. It helps us process session and reuse payments, maintain payment records, manage tax documentation, and coordinate talent compensation across multiple campaigns. This reduces administrative workload, improves payment accuracy, and helps us meet contractual and union obligations more efficiently

  ### 3. User-Friendly Ad Server, But Pixel Tracking Needs Work

**What do you like best about Extreme Reach?**

It's the first ad serving platform that I've had full control over in my position as a media buyer and digital CTV expert. It's a cost efficient ad server for video creatives. We receive valuable log level reports. It is fairly user friendly, and overall navigating the interface is fairly simple and does not require a lot of training. Our personal rep, Julie, has gone above and beyond for our team again and again for all the extra requests and troubleshooting we go through to connect the Extreme Reach data to our various third party partners. Julie is really helpful because she is able to answer the analytics team questions and support them when we have log level reporting connection issues and troubleshooting, especially with partners that are not historically integrated with Extreme Reach, like Amazon. She has been very helpful for making it work in situations where we would not have been able to run if she hadn't helped us make these data connections. The self reporting system is decent and I'm able to effectively pull reports. I do enjoy how quick the reports are, which makes it very easy to check the health of campaigns. It allows us to properly measure success of campaigns and prove out their success to the clients, which lets us stay on. The initial setup was fairly intuitive and simple. The setup of campaigns, tracking, and creatives was easy.

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

{"Pixels. Being able to check the pixel health is very problematic. I'm not able to see the pixel hits when I place the pixels. It's not normal to have to run a campaign and spend money to be able to see if the pixels are firing.","I can't run and measure success with publishers like Amazon, Disney, or Netflix in Extreme Reach. That forces me to put those dollars elsewhere and run outside of Extreme Reach.","The reach and frequency settings should be automatically applied everywhere to all advertisers. It should not be a manual thing. I have to reach out to our rep for that.","I want content genre level reporting. There should be increased granularity in reports of content for CTV streaming. That should be on the roadmap for publishers that pass back content signals.","The way campaigns are saved is confusing. I have to save them twice and I can't tell if they've been saved. I've made updates, hit submit, and we lose all of that stuff. It just seems silly and counterintuitive."}

**What problems is Extreme Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a cost efficient ad server for video creatives, and we receive valuable log level reports. The reports are quick, which makes it easy to check the health of campaigns. It lets us properly measure campaign success and prove that to clients, so we stay on.

**What do you like best about Extreme Reach?**

Very little delay in deliverables.  Has a good set of checks and balances

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

No personal customer service.  They leave the platform to the customer to use with no interaction or checking in on the clients to see if everything is okay with their product.  Years ago they did, but not anymore.  I don't know anyone to reach out to directly if needed.  No reaches out to me anymore.

**What problems is Extreme Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None that I am aware of.  I have learned to use the platform solely for anything I need without interaction since that is hard to come by.  I currently have no problems to be solved.

**What do you like best about Extreme Reach?**

I appreciate the platform's centralized asset management, streamlined workflow, and ability to simplify campaign distribution and tracking, which helps improve efficiency and collaboration

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

The platform can be slow at times while changing the tags with longer loading and processing times that impact efficiency. Faster performance and improved responsiveness would make the user experience much better.

**What problems is Extreme Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Extreme Reach helps me track campaigns and identify invalid traffic, which adds transparency and makes the performance data feel more reliable. As a result, I can monitor my campaigns more effectively and make better-informed decisions based on what I’m seeing.

The people side of the customer experience is top-notch. The teams are always willing to help with technical issues, as well as with new development requests. The system feels familiar, is user friendly, and is exceptionally efficient.

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

The platform is terrific and so are the support teams. I do experience some performance lags and tech issues at times that prove to be inconvenient, specifically within the Holding Fee module.

They are implementing newly established best practices for my client's partner agencies which will help ensure consistent workflow across the business.

Exceptional Customer Service. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable and always proactive.

I would not say there are any downsides but I have had some issues with the Billing department.

Knowing that I can communicate with a human, not a chat bot or AI, when troubleshooting. The XR platform is user friendly and helps streamline my work

Delayed response time when something isn't working properly. Session & Completion Reports on the platform could use improvement, and need to be formatted better

Biggest benefit is getting payments out in a timely manner, saving time and money by reducing late fees.

I like using Extreme Reach as our main ad server for video and audio placements. The support they offer is really fast and helpful, always assisting us in troubleshooting any technical issues that arise within our campaigns in a super-fast and friendly manner. Their setup process was super easy and smooth. They offer a better rate compared to other ad servers.

Extreme Reach sometimes has ingestion issues, so there are problems processing campaigns in the back end.

We use Extreme Reach as our main ad server for video and audio placements. They offer fast and helpful support, troubleshooting technical issues quickly and efficiently.

Recently, I’ve had a lot of issues with their billing department.

I use extreme reach to upload video files to send to clients. I get notifications when assets are ready to be posted. Easy to use for the commercial and advertising industry

it could use a more friendly user interface

Asset management, which is a great deal for big advertisers with many campaigns running at once

Customer Service is great - I've reached out to folks and gotten things turned around same day when needed
Overall platform is very easy to use and you can download assets or view in the platform as needed

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

Nothing to dislike yet - I've been satisfied with my user experience

**Recommendations to others considering Extreme Reach:**

We have had an agency relationship for quite a while - they're a great platform for us to use. I recommend!

**What problems is Extreme Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset distribution to vendors - benefits are that they can do rush shipping as needed if we are on tight timelines, I can access the platform and confirm assets are available whenever I need to, and I also can download assets which is super important for my internal records

Extreme Reach is able to do the job quickly, efficiently and does exactly what you need it to do. Their support staff is also very reliable and responsive if anything comes up if any issues arise when trying to do a task. 

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

The Extreme Reach platform may not necessarily be the easiest and most intuitive to use, but once you try it  several times, it became pretty clear what had to be done.

**What do you like best about Extreme Reach?**

I love that it is so easy to maneuver and locate files, even if they are years old.  Files don't just disappear without warning.  They stay there for years and if they do get removed, you will always receive a notification prior.

**What do you dislike about Extreme Reach?**

Nothing!  Extreme Reach is the best file sharing platform I have ever used.

**Recommendations to others considering Extreme Reach:**

This will be the only file sharing site you will want to use.  The ease of use and file retention is the best out there.

**What problems is Extreme Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the transmission of commercials from station to station.  We can easily transfer commercial spots from one location to another with little to no problems.
