I really like how simple Employment Hero makes onboarding. Setting up new staff is quick and straightforward, which saves me a lot of time. The recruitment side is also great—it’s easy to create job ads, track applicants, and keep everything organised in one place.
I also love that, once everything is set up, the system syncs smoothly with payroll, so there’s no double-handling of information. The app is another big positive: staff can do about 90% of what they need directly through it without having to log into the website, which makes things much easier for them.
It’s also really easy to create and upload policies, induction content, and other documents. There are still features I haven’t had the chance to use yet, like performance reviews, but that’s only because it’s just me in this role, not because the system is difficult.
I appreciate that Employment Hero is always updating and improving the platform. Support has been great too. At first, I wasn’t a fan of having to submit a ticket for everything, but now that chat support is available, getting help is much quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Processing the pay run isn’t as quick as I expected. It works, but it’s slower than I was led to believe. Our award also wasn’t available in the system initially, so it had to be built, which added extra time during the transition.
EH does offer some reporting capabilities, but the available fields are limited and don’t really meet our needs. The ability to create fully customised reports would make a big difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
