Simply Merit provided absolutely exceptional support that was instrumental in helping our team meet a very tight deadline. Their customer service is truly the best I have ever experienced—they acted as a genuine partner, patiently guiding me through every step and resolving all my concerns.

What do you dislike about SimplyMerit?

It took me sometime to understand how the system functioned. It was not a easy Plug and Play! My ultimate 'blue sky' wish would be to have certain features automatically synced with the system—for example, performance ratings, automatically feeding updates like salary changes, new hires and terminations straight from the HRIS! While these are 'dream big' improvements, I don't want it to take away in anyway from all the positives Simply Merit has to offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimplyMerit?

I use SimplyMerit for Merit Increase exercises and promotions and find the tool very user-friendly. I appreciate its self-explanatory and customer-centric approach, which reduces manager training time and allows our team to navigate the merit cycle independently. The guidance and support provided are unlimited, giving me confidence to handle complex scenarios without the risk of data errors. What do you dislike about SimplyMerit?

1. There should be a filter option available at headings to easily track specific employee details instead of scrolling down. 2. The absence of a row and column freeze option makes it difficult for managers to scroll to the end. 3. What do you like best about SimplyMerit?

I really like SimplyMerit for its dynamic importing, which is great because it allows us to have more context and ensures information is accurate when it gets into the system. The support team is also very helpful. They don't just offer standard answers; they really listen to our feedback and help us in whatever way they can. It's refreshing, and we truly appreciate that. Additionally, the platform helps us with enhanced communication and management of our merit processes, and the insights report created each year is interesting and useful. The letters they provide for employee communication are largely customizable, allowing us to share information the way we want. I am impressed by their frequency of updates they make based on feedback and their curiosity to make a better product. I think some of the customizability can be enhanced a little more. Being able to globally manage a few more things rather than individually or at a team level would be beneficial. The ease of reviewing data and allowing managers the autonomy to make proposals. The process made it easy for executives to view their entire team and make approvals and/or suggestions. I do not have any dislikes, the system worked well for our organization and met our needs. One area we would like to enhance is on the bonus calculation to avoid having to uploads and download multiple times for final calculations. The name says it all. Although it's simple to use, the functionality is impressive -- giving us everything that we need. It is also flexible enough to make edits as needed. The ability to produce confirmation statements for each employee is great. Implementation was a breeze. Customer Support is very responsive and very knowledgeable of the product. SimplyMerit is a low cost, highly customizable solution for merit and bonus planning and payment. The system allows us to customize merit and bonus allocations, as well as helping with meeting budget and providing an audit trail of approvals. The individualized letters that managers can access directly to provide to their team members saves our HR team time. Simply Merit also provide incredible customer support!
