The merit letter templates didn't pull in correct data - calculations were off. Navigation bar at the bottom would navigate back to previous page if you scrolled over to far. It would be nice to have all data that see in the pages downloaded into the excel file. Managers didn't find this feature helpful if they were working on their budget allocations before entering it into the system. **What problems is SimplyMerit solving and how is that benefiting you?** easy tool for managers for use when allocating their merit budget, ease of use in creating letters, being able to see if you were over budget, flags that came up when someone was over budget in merit, bonus, or equity. I also like that it can generate comp memos. **What do you dislike about SimplyMerit?** I dislike that you can't store more than 5 comp changes for history. Also that you can't filter by job or sort columns (lowest to highest, etc.). I don't like that once the changes are approved it isn't automatically reflected in the system. You have to do another import. I also wish that you could rearrange the columns or lock the first name when you need to scroll over. This makes things very tedious. Overall it is simple to use but there are many improvements that can be made (and should be). **What problems is SimplyMerit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting out of Excel. ### 12. I did make a request regarding something that wasn't mapped correctly, and they said they would be looking into having it updated for the next year's merit increase. **What problems is SimplyMerit solving and how is that benefiting you?** It integrates with our HRIS and makes it easy to download and upload information. It also makes it easy to send out to managers to review merit increases and then later provides merit increase and/or promotional increase letters to employees. ### 13. With SimplyMerit, getting used to adding or removing information from the system can take some time getting used to it. If you have ever managed the merit process and had to generate merit letters and send out lots of emails to share those letters, then this is the perfect tool to help with that administrative burden. Huge Win. **What do you dislike about SimplyMerit?** I don't really dislike anything but if I had to pick I'd say I wish there was a way to include effective dates with promotion requests. This would help when it comes to importing the data into your HRIS system when the promotion can be retroactive or sometimes future dated. **What problems is SimplyMerit solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool really solves the administrative burden of managing the spreadsheet system.
