I don't dislike anything on kinsta. Maybe what I don't like too much is the impossibility to use a domain and mail service from their panel (I'm forced to go with zoho mail). I run a few SaaS products from Linode's infrastructure as well as several dozen Wordpress sites. Linode does an excellent job of provisioning shared instances on their servers, I've been using Linode for more than 5 years and I've only had to ask to move to another hardware instance once. The few times Linode has experienced outages their status page always has a thorough description of the problem and what they're doing to fix it, in many cases they even have a complete breakdown after the outage to go over what failed and what they're doing to make sure it doesn't happen again. Additionally, every few years Linode has bumped the resources provided to each VPS *for free* to keep their pricing in line with current hardware costs. The price you pay for hosting is more than made up by savings for developers needed to resolve hosting issues -- because you do not have any hosting issues! Whether my site needs are a single site or I am working with 25+ sites, WP Engine is flawless for running fast and secure WordPress sites. Navigation and layout isn't always intuitive and the site is not as user-friendly as WordPress.
