“The flexibility is still what keeps me building with WordPress”
What do you like best about WordPress.org?

After working with WordPress for so many years, there's one thing I still appreciate more than anything else: it's very rare that I have to tell a client their idea isn't possible. Most conversations are about finding the best way to build it, not whether WordPress can handle it. That's probably the biggest reason I keep using it for projects that have nothing in common. The biggest change I've experienced over the last few years is the evolution of the Block Editor and the Site Editor. I'll admit I wasn't convinced at first. I had spent years building sites with classic themes and visual builders, so changing the way I worked didn't sound very appealing. After using it on real projects, my opinion completely changed. Reusable blocks, patterns, and templates have cut down the amount of repetitive work that goes into custom websites, and clients are much more confident updating their own content without worrying about breaking the layout. I also like where WordPress is heading. Every release keeps improving the block experience, collaboration features, and the foundation for AI-powered tools, so it feels like the platform is still moving in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.org?

The Block Editor still isn't the perfect fit for every project. On more complex builds, I sometimes prefer creating custom components instead of forcing everything into advanced block layouts. The good part is that WordPress never locks me into a single way of working. I can choose the approach that makes the most sense for each project, and that's something I've always appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress.org solving and how is that benefiting you?

A project from a few months ago sums it up pretty well. A client comes to us with a website that has been growing for years without much planning behind it. Every new feature meant installing another plugin, and even publishing a simple article had become more complicated than it should've been. Before adding anything new, we took a step back and cleaned everything up. We built custom blocks for the sections they actually used, removed a bunch of plugins they no longer needed, simplified the editing experience, and used the Site Editor so their team could manage most of the content themselves. A few weeks later, something interesting happened. The constant requests for small text changes, image swaps, and layout updates almost disappeared because they could handle those changes on their own. That was probably the most satisfying part of the project. We didn't just make the website faster; we made it easier for everyone to work with long after the development was finished. “Exceptional deep-dive technical support and a highly robust visual architecture platform”
What do you like best about Webflow?

I initially encountered what I thought was a severe server-state syncing issue that had stalled my development operations. I was highly frustrated, but Dave from Webflow's support team stepped in and provided a masterclass level of technical assistance. He didn't just offer generic troubleshooting; he took a deep dive into my project's specific architecture and recorded a custom video breakdown. He accurately diagnosed that it wasn't a platform bug at all, but rather a complex CSS breakpoint and viewport configuration discrepancy on my end that was masking my styles on the default 1024px canvas.

The platform itself is incredibly powerful for high-fidelity web design, but knowing that there are dedicated support specialists willing to go the extra mile to visually debug your specific architecture is what makes Webflow truly enterprise-grade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

The learning curve can be quite steep, especially when engineering complex cascading styles across multiple custom breakpoints (e.g., managing styles from 1920px down to 1440px and the default 1024px viewport). A minor oversight in viewport styling can easily look like a major structural bug if you aren't paying close attention. It would be great to see even more prominent visual cues within the Designer when styling properties are completely hidden by higher breakpoints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an agency, we rely heavily on Webflow to architect, build, and deploy high-performance, pixel-perfect websites. It allows us to translate complex designs into clean, production-ready code efficiently. Having a reliable staging environment (.webflow.io) and seamless custom domain management is critical for our delivery timelines. When the platform is fully leveraged and properly configured, it provides an unmatched visual engineering experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HubSpot Content Hub?

I like the HubSpot Content Hub, particularly the website pages feature, which makes it very easy to create and duplicate pages. I use it a lot for website pages, landing pages, blogs, videos, and embeds. The design manager and file management features are also handy. Overall, I think HubSpot Content Hub is pretty awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Content Hub?

The case study section is in the beta version. We would like to move all our company slides, which we are creating on Google Slides, to the case study section. HubSpot should move this from beta to a live version and create a functionality where we can create our own templates in the case studies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use HubSpot Content Hub to manage website pages, SEO, emails, forms, and files. It's easy to create and duplicate pages, improving our content management compared to WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Straightforward Updates, Clean Interface, and Reliable Performance with Duda”
What do you like best about Duda?

We've used Duda on several website projects where design updates continued well after the initial launch. What I like most is that making layout and content adjustments feels straightforward, which helps keep projects moving without turning small revisions into lengthy tasks.

A large part of my work involves reviewing page layouts, content placement, and overall user experience before changes go live. Duda makes that process easier because the interface is clean and easy to understand. Checking responsive layouts across different screen sizes is quick, and making updates doesn't require jumping between multiple tools. We've also connected analytics and marketing platforms without much setup work. Performance has been reliable, even on pages with heavier visual content. New team members generally get comfortable with the platform quickly, and support has been helpful whenever we've needed clarification on specific features. For the amount of time it saves during revisions and routine updates, it has delivered solid value for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Duda?

There are times when I would like more flexibility for highly customized design interactions. The platform covers most day-to-day needs well, but achieving very specific visual behaviors can occasionally require extra work. I would also welcome more advanced design organization options for larger projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Duda, implementing design feedback often required more back-and-forth between team members, especially when updates needed to be reviewed across multiple devices. Duda simplified that process by making edits easier to preview, review, and publish. As a result, revision cycles are shorter, design consistency is easier to maintain, and projects spend less time waiting on minor updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Flexible CMS That Scales with Business Needs”
What do you like best about Umbraco?

I've been using Umbraco for several years, and what I like most is the balance between flexibility for developers and ease of use for content editors. Editors can update content without needing much help, and as a developer, I have the freedom to build custom solutions without feeling limited by the CMS.

Umbraco Cloud has made deployments much smoother and saves us a lot of time when managing different environments. We also use Umbraco Engage, which helps us better understand user behavior and create more personalized experiences for our clients.

The newer AI features and MCP support are a nice addition and have started making some everyday tasks faster. I also like how easy it is to integrate Umbraco with other systems and APIs, which is something we do on almost every project.

Performance has been solid, even on larger websites, and the platform has been reliable. Whenever I've had questions, the documentation and the Umbraco community have been really helpful. There's almost always someone willing to help or share a solution.

Overall, Umbraco has become my preferred CMS because it's reliable, modern, and gives us everything we need to build and maintain websites efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Umbraco?

One area that could be improved is the pricing model for Umbraco Engage. Some clients only need specific features, but they currently have to pay for the full product. It would be great if Engage offered more flexible pricing, allowing customers to choose only the features they need and pay accordingly.

I've also noticed that more clients are asking for personalization and audience segmentation. Making these capabilities more accessible through flexible plans would help more businesses adopt Engage without the higher upfront cost.

Other than that, I haven't encountered any major issues. Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Umbraco. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Umbraco solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the biggest problems Umbraco has solved for us is managing content from multiple systems. In one of our recent projects, the client was using three different content platforms. Managing content across all of them was time-consuming, inconsistent, and difficult for the content team.

We migrated everything into a single Umbraco solution. Now the client manages all their content from one place, which has simplified their workflow, reduced maintenance, and made training much easier for their editors.

From a development perspective, Umbraco's flexibility has also helped us build custom features and integrate with other business systems without being limited by the CMS. Combined with Umbraco Cloud, deployments and content synchronization are much smoother, allowing us to deliver updates faster and with fewer issues.

Overall, Umbraco has helped us reduce complexity, improve the editor experience, and deliver projects more efficiently while lowering the ongoing maintenance effort for our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Simplifies Blogging with Ease, Despite Some Hiccups”
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

I love WordPress.com for how it makes my work super easy, especially with its templates and plugins. It's great because I don't need any coding knowledge to start working on it, making it accessible even to people from different sectors. The platform also gives me full control over my website, preserving ownership while being easy to manage. I find the exporting feature in .wpress format incredibly useful for migration, as it saves both time and human effort. This feature allows me to create easy backups and seamlessly migrate my site using wp-admin without needing complex knowledge of cPanel or Plesk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

Some plugins need to be free, like the WordPress All In 1 plugin, which only allows very small file sizes to import. It's possible to increase the size limit, but for someone without a technical background, it's a worry since paid plugins are costly. This was a problem I personally faced and wasted a lot of time figuring out how to increase it locally and then online. Once you know, it's easy, but for new users, it's complex. Also, as we add more features, the site becomes slow, which should be improved. The initial setup was hard for me because I was unsure whether to use XAMPP or WP Local official software. My XAMPP kept running SQL and Apache, and Local blocked ports, making it complex to decide. A step-by-step tutorial according to user experience would be helpful. The initial setup seems a little hard initially, and increasing the size limit to import the .wpress file can be troublesome, especially for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use WordPress.com for its ease of use with templates and plugins, allowing even non-tech people to create sites without coding knowledge. It saves time with features like .wpress export for easy backups and migrations, and maintains full website control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Morphic?

What problems is Morphic solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Adobe Experience Manager Makes Content and Digital Asset Management Easy”
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I started using Adobe Experience Manager a few months ago while exploring different Adobe tools, and my experience has been positive so far. One thing I found useful is how it helps manage website content and digital assets in a more organized and professional way. In the beginning it took some time to understand the workflow, but after learning the basics, updating content and managing pages became much easier. I also liked that it supports better collaboration for teams working on content and digital projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

Since I started using Adobe Experience Manager a few months ago as a learner, one thing I found difficult was that the platform can feel complex for beginners at first. Some features, workflows, and setup steps take time to understand properly, especially for users who are new to content management systems. Because of this learning curve, I was not able to continue using it regularly for some time. I think Adobe could improve the beginner experience by adding simpler tutorials, guided walkthroughs, and more beginner-friendly documentation. This would make it easier for new users and buyers to adopt the platform faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Experience Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

I started using Adobe Experience Manager again a few months ago after trying it a few years back, and I noticed that adobe has improved many things compared to before. The platform now feels more advanced and useful for managing website content, digital assets, and workflows in one place. Earlier, handling and organizing content across different platforms could feel confusing and time consuming, but AEm helps make the process more structured and efficient. As a beginner, the main challenge for me was understanding the workflows and features in the beginning because the platform has many tools and options. But after spending time learning it, I understood why many businesses use it for content management and digital experiences. I think buyers can benefit from it because it helps teams manage content more professionally, saves time, and improves collaboration. compared to many basic CMS platforms, Adobe experience manager feels more enterprise-focused and scalable, especially for companies handling large amounts of digital content. With AI, personalization, and digital experiences becoming more important, I feel AEM can become even more valuable in the future. Beginners who want to learn enterprise-level content management can also start with it because it gives practical exposure to realworld workflows used by larger companies. What do you dislike about Framer?

Framer's pricing seems to scale quite quickly and is somewhat unclear. I also wish Framer had a faster Windows app because now it doesn't matter whether I use browser or Windows. “Did Wix reach the peak of the mountain?”
What do you like best about Wix?

Wix values design above all, it seems Wix was built so that everyone can make their dreams of having the best website come true, integrating features that make the website complete, store, booking, hotels, restaurants, etc. Although performance remains the Achilles' heel due to its infrastructure and how Google measures it, but that's another story that maybe Wix will look at in the future, the price keeps rising even though almost nothing has changed in the last two years, the price has really punished users because before everything was included, now everything is charged separately, even the smallest features are charged separately and now Wix is indeed the most expensive on the market and it's not even the most complete in solving things that others have as standard, it has integrations with external apps that simply make everything even more expensive, customer support has declined significantly, incorporating AI has been the failure of support, there are no longer logical responses to simple problems, developers think that the customer or anyone is an expert in writing what they think or want and that is a fatal mistake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wix?

It is moving away from its all-inclusive promise and getting closer to an all-paid model, now nothing can be done without having to pay more, there are no competitive advantages compared to others, only the disadvantages that Wix over the years has not wanted to resolve, because it is clear that their programmers are not clients and only attend to interests and not to real solutions needed by real clients. Before, they listened to us through Facebook and it was great, they gathered us for hours of talks where you learned everything in a simple way, they asked us real questions with a real interest in solving problems. Now they only ask you to throw out a question that no one answers and that no one cares about in an app that no one is motivated to use. Before, they supported you in everything, now it's "ask the AI" and that doesn't work. The cost and lack of humanization are the things that are killing Wix. What problems is Wix solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wix used to solve the problem of not knowing how to program for me, but now every time I create a site I have to program. I've actually been with Wix for over 14 years, and these last two years I've been considering switching because Wix is just more expensive and no longer easy. I also had to learn to program. “All my business tools in one place”
What do you like best about Melis Platform?

I absolutely love the fact that the platform seems integrated for all my apps. I can manage the newsletters there, create blogs, and manage both my clients list, our services offerings and content as well as our custom CRM all in one place. I also think it's a really good platform for our fast-growing business, because some features that we deactivated for now could very much be useful in a few months or years when our team grow. I'm particularly interested in the feature they call "multisite" because we handle a few different brands (or rather service lines) under the hood... If I can manage all this in one place, how cool is that?!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Melis Platform?

I want to have a bit more freedom in designing the blogs, and find out more about solutions and apps I can add on my platform. But I don't have anything I really dislike overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Melis Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to manage all parts of my work in one place. I can jump from my marketing plans and blogs to handling my list of clients in the crm they created for us. And then also add my newsletters to communicate with them, or edit pages when we have a new ad! Their team is also super helpful and responsive when I have any issue, as they allocate a developer for us on demand to do some special requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The CMS that finally made a government website feel modern”
What do you like best about Sanity?

The Studio is genuinely a pleasure to use, even for non-technical staff. Everything is editable in the way you’d expect from a WordPress-era CMS, but without the baggage. What really won me over is the webhook integration: I’ve got it wired up to Vercel so content changes trigger revalidation instantly. No manual deploys and no cache headaches.

I also run separate dev and production datasets, which keeps my development workflow clean and lets me test schema changes without touching live content. The Vercel integration, in particular, has matured a lot and now feels completely native. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sanity?

The learning curve at the beginning was steeper than I expected - not because Sanity is poorly designed, but because the documentation for more advanced use cases was pretty thin when I first got started. I ended up spending a fair amount of time piecing things together from community posts and examples. That said, the situation has improved noticeably since then: AI-ready resources, more complete skills documentation, and tighter Vercel integration have all arrived, and I think onboarding a project today would be meaningfully faster. What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting you?

I manage the official website for a municipal government built on Next.js, with Sanity serving as the content layer across the entire site. Previously, updating content required a developer to touch the code. Now, every page, announcement, and news item is fully manageable through Studio, so non-technical staff can publish and update content in real time without ever touching the codebase. The structured content model has also given us clear, consistent control over SEO metadata site-wide, which would have been painful to manage any other way. Overall, it’s turned what could have been a rigid, hard-to-maintain institutional site into something that actually stays current. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Create High-End, Client-Ready Websites in Hours”
What do you like best about solidpixels.?

What I value most is how quickly I can create a functional, high-end website. Often, even before presenting a formal proposal, I can already show the client what their new site could look like, how their brand can be applied, or how their current underperforming website can be turned into a functional, modern design – within a matter of hours.

I also appreciate the transparent pricing and excellent support. It is immediately clear how much everything costs, and if something is not clear, I can quickly sort it out with support — just like various issues or bugs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about solidpixels.?

Sometimes I run into the limits of what can and cannot be styled. I understand that this is meant to optimize the platform and reduce the number of ways users can break a website. But in those cases, I have to bend the predefined elements in the code editor quite a lot and hope it will work. With each new version, however, the environment and features are becoming more and more refined and optimized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is solidpixels. solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a designer, it allows me to work independently of developers and programmers and immediately build a functional presentation across devices. At the same time, even clients with only basic computer skills can later edit and manage it themselves in a simple click-and-edit way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
