“Procore Keeps Everything in One Place with Real-Time Updates”
What do you like best about Procore?

What I like most about Procore is how it keeps everything in one place. It makes it easy to track RFIs, submittals, drawings, and communication without jumping between systems.

The most helpful part is the real-time updates, which keep the field and office aligned and reduce miscommunication. It also helps standardize workflows, making it easier to stay organized and manage multiple projects at once.

Overall, it improves efficiency, communication, and visibility across projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Procore?

One downside of Procore is that it can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when navigating between tools or loading large sets of drawings. There can also be inconsistencies if teams don’t follow the same naming conventions or workflows, which can make things harder to track.

Additionally, some features aren’t as flexible as needed, so teams may still rely on external logs or spreadsheets. Overall, while it’s a powerful platform, it works best when everyone is aligned on how to use it consistently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?

Procore solves the problem of scattered project information and miscommunication by centralizing everything in one platform. Instead of tracking RFIs, submittals, drawings, and emails in different places, it keeps everything organized and accessible.

This benefits me by saving time, improving accuracy, and making it easier to stay on top of multiple projects. It also helps ensure the team is aligned with real-time updates, which reduces errors and keeps workflows moving efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“GCPay Streamlines Construction Payments With Clear, Organized Workflow”
What do you like best about GCPay?

What I like best about GCPay is how simple and organized it makes the payment process for construction projects. Keeping track of invoices, subcontractor payments, and compliance documents used to take a lot of time, but GCPay brings everything into one place. The platform is easy to use, even for team members who aren’t very tech-savvy, and it really helps reduce payment delays and confusion. I also appreciate the visibility it gives throughout the payment workflow, so everyone knows the status of payments and approvals. Overall, it has made our payment management much more efficient and less stressful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GCPay?

One thing I dislike about GCPay is that the system can feel a bit slow at times, especially when uploading documents or navigating between different sections. There’s also a learning curve for new users, particularly for subcontractors who are not familiar with construction payment software. Some features could be more intuitive, and I think the reporting options could be improved to allow more customization. That said, once you get used to the platform, it does make the payment process much more organized overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GCPay solving and how is that benefiting you?

GCPay is solving a lot of the manual and time-consuming issues involved in construction payment management. Before using it, tracking invoices, lien waivers, compliance documents, and payment approvals across multiple subcontractors was difficult and often led to delays or miscommunication. With GCPay, everything is centralized and automated, which has helped streamline the entire payment application process.

The biggest benefit for me has been improved efficiency and visibility. It’s much easier to track payment statuses, ensure compliance documents are submitted correctly, and reduce back-and-forth emails between teams. This has helped speed up payment cycles, minimize errors, and create a more transparent process for everyone In the team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“ACC Forma removes the delay from the GC's world of "requests" via AU's phenomenal platform !!”
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

As a daily user of ACC, I really appreciate being able to connect with my general contractors at any time about RFIs, submittals, issues, and drawings uploaded to the cloud.

It’s also a huge time-saver to add members to a project, assign them a role with the right permissions, and have them immediately gain access to drawings and request statuses without much waiting.

Overall, ACC has reinvented the AE platform by enabling real-time sharing with a professional experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

As we extend our use of ACC Build in the areas of specifications and submittals, I’d appreciate the option of a chatbot, a text-based help line, or a direct connection to a help desk person who can provide immediate answers to questions related to specs, rather than having to send an email and wait for a reply.

I’m also looking forward to more information on when the submittal module will have more flexible permission settings within the module, so that only the members you want to have access to the activity log and uploads are the ones who truly have access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?

The challenge of giving clients a modifiable way for general contractors to enter their own RFIs within the module has been streamlined with excellent options that are managed by the administrator. This approach adds flexibility for mediation and modification, improves speed, and provides access for many stakeholders at the same time. It has been a real game-changer, and I’m looking forward to seeing these same opportunities implemented in the submittals module. The added ability for members of different disciplines to include other members of their team at the same step in a submittal is a move in the right direction, and it’s also a great enhancement to the reviewer role within the ACC Build RFI & Submittal platform. “Accurate Construction Estimates with Real-World Pricing”
What do you like best about Handoff?

The system is built around estimates, SOWs, and general chat related to the construction industry. I like how it looks for real-world pricing through Home Depot and allows users to put in their own variables like markups or taxes. The estimates themselves are only as good as your description of the job, so if you're on-point with your description, SOW, and plans it's within the 90th percentile on being correct normally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handoff?

The only downside is on more complicated jobs the system tends to be all over the place. Breaking down complex projects with multiple SOWs resolves a lot of this, but you have to be very watchful of it's pricing as sometimes it can come in very high or very low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Handoff solving and how is that benefiting you?

“A Disciplined, Data-Driven Platform That Brings Structure to Complex Project Environments”
What do you like best about Methvin?

From a leadership perspective, Methvin stands out for its ability to introduce structure and accountability into what is often a fragmented project environment. The platform’s strength lies in its end-to-end approach to estimating, tendering, and scheduling, which aligns well with how high-performing organizations manage risk and execution.

The collaborative estimating functionality is particularly valuable. It enables teams to work from a single source of truth, reducing inconsistencies that typically arise when multiple stakeholders are involved in bid preparation. This is critical in maintaining both accuracy and credibility during tender submissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Methvin?

Methvin’s depth and structured approach can present a learning curve, particularly for teams accustomed to simpler or less integrated tools. Adopting the platform effectively requires a shift toward more disciplined processes, which may take time.

Additionally, while the interface is functional, it may not feel as modern or intuitive as some newer SaaS platforms. This can affect early user adoption, especially among less technical team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Methvin solving and how is that benefiting you?

Methvin is a platform designed for organizations that take project delivery seriously. It emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and process discipline, all of which are essential for consistent performance in complex environments.

From an executive viewpoint, it is less about quick wins and more about building a reliable operational framework. While there is an upfront investment in time and adaptation, the long-term value lies in improved bid quality, better project visibility, and stronger execution outcomes. “The IT Tech's Experience: Great Support, Easy Integrations”
What do you like best about HCSS?

Your support is amazing. I work in IT, so support is what I interact with most, aside from Credentials. Your team is always ready to help, quick to respond, and extremely knowledgeable about the system. If there’s one thing I hope never changes, it’s your outstanding support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCSS?

Your development feels noticeably disjointed, and the level of polish seems to vary a lot from one module to another. Some parts come across as older or more legacy, while others feel much newer and more refined. I really wish the experience were more consistent and cohesive across all of your offerings, so it doesn’t feel like I’m switching between different generations of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HCSS solving and how is that benefiting you?

The business issues I’m usually tasked with solving involve automation or pulling data into other services. HCSS’s API is genuinely great. It's easy to work with and straightforward to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“JobTread Helped Me Rebuild and Run My Business with Intention”
What do you like best about JobTread?

What I value most about JobTread is the clarity and structure it brings to my business. It didn’t just give me better software — it forced me to think and operate more intentionally. Having everything centralized (estimates, change orders, job costing, schedules, communication) gave me a clearer picture of where projects actually stood and what decisions I needed to be making.

Another huge upside has been how usable it is with subcontractors. Being able to share scopes, budgets, and expectations in a clean, professional way has helped me lean into a subcontractor-based model and step away from employees. That shift alone helped my business survive some very difficult personal and health-related seasons while still moving forward.

The support and onboarding also stand out. The team didn’t just answer questions — they made sure I actually implemented the system and used it correctly. That accountability was pivotal early on and made the difference between owning software and truly running my business through it.

I cannot put enough emphasis on the customer support and the desire to see their clients succeed. I was overwhelmed by the transition into implementing JobTread into our business. They followed up with me and made sure that we had a smooth integration and the support has always been there to ensure we can utilize this everyday in our business. We are even getting positive feedback from our subcontractors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JobTread?

JobTread is constantly evolving, which is largely a positive, but it can occasionally be challenging to keep up with changes as new features and updates are rolled out. That said, this isn’t due to a lack of training, communication, or access to customer support — those resources are strong — it’s simply the nature of a platform that continues to improve and expand.

One minor functional issue I’ve run into is within invoicing. The total invoice amount is auto-filled in the payment field, and if the actual payment amount isn’t adjusted before submitting, it will apply the invoice as paid in full. At the moment, there isn’t a way to correct that directly, which requires creating a new invoice to fix the mistake. It’s a small thing, but a confirmation step or edit option would help prevent accidental full payments.

Overall, these are minor points in the context of the value the platform provides, but they are areas where continued refinement could make an already strong system even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?

JobTread has helped solve the problem of lack of visibility and control across projects. Before using it, it was difficult to quickly see where jobs stood financially, what had been approved, and what still needed action. Now I can track estimates, change orders, invoices, and job costs in one place, which has significantly reduced uncertainty and reactive decision-making.

It’s also helped solve communication breakdowns — both internally and with subcontractors. Having clear scopes, documented changes, and shared expectations has reduced confusion, protected margins, and improved accountability. This has been especially important as I transitioned away from employees and leaned more heavily on a subcontractor-based model.

Another major problem it helped solve was scalability during personal and operational stress. During seasons where my attention had to be divided due to family health issues and business restructuring, JobTread provided enough structure to keep projects moving without everything relying on me being involved in every detail.

Finally, it’s helped solve the issue of inconsistent sales and processes. By running estimates, pricing, and workflows through one system, I’ve been able to sell more consistently, make better decisions, and operate with greater confidence. The result has been meaningful revenue growth and clearer direction for where I want to take the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Briq’s Smart Automation Links Project Info and Speeds Decisions”
What do you like best about briq?

What I like best about Briq is how intelligently it connects and understands project information. Compare to Procore and others that we use in the past, it feels far more proactive ad operationally focused rather than just a place to store documents. Otto automatically links drawings, specs, RFIs, revisions, and workflows together, which has reduced a huge amount of manual coordination for our teams. The visibility and automation have helped us make faster decisions, improve project accuracy, an stay ahead of potential issues before they impact the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about briq?

The main downside initially was the learning curve. Briq is much more advanced than traditional platforms like Procore, so it took some time for our teams to fully adapt to the workflow and automation capabilities. However, once the onboarding phase was complete, the long-term efficiency and visibility benefits made the transition well worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is briq solving and how is that benefiting you?

Otto is solving the problem of disconnected project information and manual coordination. Before switching from Procore, our teams spent too much time tracking revisions, searching through specs, and manually connecting RFIs, Drawings and workflows. With Briq, everything is connected intelligently in one system. The platform automatically surfaces changes, identifies impacted scope, and gives our teams faster access to critical project information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Intuitive, Efficient, and Supportive AI for Construction Estimating”
What do you like best about Togal.AI?

I use Togal.AI for estimating and takeoffs in the construction industry, specifically for Joint Sealants & Firestopping. It speeds up doing takeoffs on projects with its automation tools and built-in customizable formulas to generate costs. I love the simplicity and user-friendly UI, making it very easy to understand. The customer support is great, and the cloud-based storage is so helpful in keeping my computer from getting overloaded with files. With Togal.AI, it's simple and reliable to upload and do takeoffs on drawings, and it generates project costs simultaneously. The cloud platform lets me return to a project months or years later. The AI Togal button is quite handy, automatically identifying and counting numerous items. The initial setup was extremely easy, and once access was granted in less than an hour, I could upload drawings instantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Togal.AI?

Improvements would be identifying more items that pertain to our field ie. mechanical, electrical, sprinkler penetrations. Also identifying the difference between a rated wall and a non-rated wall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Adaptive Makes Draw Packages and Invoicing Fast and Effortless”
What do you like best about Adaptive?

Adaptive simplifies draws - I have NEVER been able to compose draw packages so quickly and it makes my life so much easier not having to dedicate an entire day - or two - to composing draw packages!!

I also love that Adaptive eliminates a lot of the tedious invoicing process (having to manually enter a vendor, invoice number, amount, etc.). It automatically pulls the information from the invoice and enters it, which saves SO much time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive?

While it's extremely convenient because it automatically pulls the info over from the invoices, it's not 100% accurate (obviously not something I would expect, but I think some people may so I do want to point this out). You DO have to review all invoice fields to ensure the information that was pulled over was correct and that draws contain everything included; I have, at times, had Adaptive completely remove invoices from draws after a revision was made, even though the invoice wasn't removed by me, so as long as you are in a habit of double checking everything, it's not a huge issue (the likes definitely outweigh the dislikes). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive solving and how is that benefiting you?

Draw packages!! Draws used to take me an entire day (or two, depending on how many I had to compose, how many projects I was completing them for, how many invoices were in each, etc) but they now take almost no time at all. This increases my productivity and ultimately saves money because I can now focus that time on other areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Acumatica Delivers Flexibility and Scalability for Global Growth”
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I love that Acumatica is truly cloud-based, making accessibility seamless for our global teams. The generic inquiry (GI) feature is a game changer, allowing even non-technical users like me to build custom reports and dashboards easily. Its intuitive web interface makes onboarding new employees quick, and the scalability means we can grow without being handcuffed by the ERP system. The consumption-based pricing structure is also a huge plus, and the reliability has been outstanding compared to previous systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike, but the process of migrating from our old system was complex, especially consolidating customers from multiple databases. Integrating new acquisitions and handling multi-currency, multi-tenant setups required extra effort and some creative workarounds, but Acumatica’s flexibility helped us address these challenges. I’d also say that while AI features are promising, we’re still exploring their full potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scalability and flexibility are the biggest strengths for us. Because of features like attributes, we’ve been able to design the underlying data structure so it can live in both big and small buckets, depending on what we need. “Online Project Management That Streamlines Customer Communication”
What do you like best about CoConstruct?

I like that CoConstruct is online. It's helpful at it allows project management to program efficiently. Communication with customers without being on-site, selections is product, choices in paint color, when a sub contractor is going to be on site. So fine without needing to be physically with the customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoConstruct?

There a bit of a learning curve to it. There is training which is seeding. But there is multiple ways to do the same things, not not always shown in a report if not done the particular way it needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoConstruct solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's solving particularly the need to be on site with a customer to deal with any issues that might arise any questions that might arise. Or anything else that might come along. Save the person from having to go to a physical job site which is efficient when you need to deal with five or six at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
