“Procore Makes Collaboration and Project Documentation Seamless”
What do you like best about Procore?

What I like most about Procore is how user-friendly it is. It makes collaboration and information sharing with our field teams seamless, while significantly improving communication and project documentation across all assigned projects. One of its greatest strengths is providing a centralized location for project history and records. This ensures that any new team member joining the organization can quickly access project documentation, understand past decisions, and stay informed, helping maintain continuity and efficiency throughout the life of a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Procore?

While Procore is generally very user-friendly, some of our more seasoned employees still find the interface challenging to navigate. It would be beneficial if users had the ability to customize their home page and choose how information is displayed. For example, providing an option to view project areas as folders and files—similar to the layout of a computer's file explorer—could make navigation more intuitive for users who are more comfortable with traditional file management systems. Offering customizable views would help accommodate different user preferences and improve adoption across all experience levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?

At present, Procore is not solving any significant challenges for me personally, as I am not the Procore Administrator for our company. However, if I were in that role, one enhancement I would recommend is increased flexibility within the Schedule tool.

Currently, the Schedule tool primarily supports Microsoft Project file formats, which limits the ability to incorporate other valuable project-planning resources. I would like to see support for additional file types such as PDF, Word, and Excel documents. Many aspects of schedule planning and project coordination rely on visual aids, reference documents, and supplemental tracking tools that cannot always be captured within a Microsoft Project file.

Allowing multiple file types and folder structures within the Schedule tool would provide greater flexibility, improve accessibility for team members, and create a more comprehensive project planning environment. This enhancement would help teams centralize all schedule-related information in one location while accommodating different planning and communication styles. “user friendly and great customer support. Don't seem to listen to feedback to improve though.”
What do you like best about GCPay?

I still wish they'd make the monthly cost bundle report print by Division, and not by Alphabetical order. For any client, when we present the monthly billing, we have to present by going down the line, division by division. The monthly bundle is alphabetical, so each month, we have to manually reorganize. It seems so simple to make this change, yet seems to never be acknowledged. With that, GCPya is great, but they don't seem to care to get better, whereas everyone else has caught up or passed them, as they try to improve year over year. GCPay is more or less the same as it was 10 years ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GCPay?

Same as previous response. Also it is annoying that they greyed out the ability for us to check or uncheck if we should be responsible for sub SOVs or they are. We can call support, but this was a useful feature (as a lot of subs we work with are a little less sophisticated) that they took away. Sort of goes with the theme of the review that they aren't trying to improve, but instead maybe even working backwards a little. If some GCs want that greyed out, then have it be a setting in project/company settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GCPay solving and how is that benefiting you?

Integration with Vista has saved our main office time and headaches. Tracking of insurance compliance is extremely helpful. Tracking on lien waivers is extremely helpful. Adding these to a pay app software truly benefits us and saves us time tracking these elsewhere, especially as we can set up to not let a sub submit their pay app without them. Its a great way to force the subs to keep up on their paperwork or they won't be paid timely, without making us look like jerks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Connected Platform That Improves Construction Project Collaboration and Control”
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What I like best about Autodesk Forma is that it supports many important aspects of the project lifecycle in one connected platform, from early planning and design coordination to document control, field collaboration, and project tracking. It helps teams stay organized by keeping key project information, drawings, models, updates, and communication in a central place, which reduces the need to search through multiple systems or email threads. I also value how it improves visibility across the team, making it easier to understand project status, review changes, coordinate with different stakeholders, and make better decisions. The platform supports collaboration between office and field teams, improves accountability, and helps reduce confusion caused by outdated or scattered information. Overall, it adds value by making construction workflows more efficient, transparent, and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What I dislike about Autodesk Forma is that it can feel overwhelming at times because the platform has many tools, features, and workflows built into one system. For new users, there can be a learning curve, especially when trying to understand where certain information is stored or how different modules connect with each other. Some processes may also take extra clicks compared to a simpler tool, and performance can sometimes depend on internet connectivity or how large the project files are. That said, these challenges are manageable once the team becomes familiar with the platform and sets up clear project standards. Overall, the benefits are strong, but the user experience could be improved with simpler navigation, faster loading, and more intuitive workflows for everyday tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Autodesk Forma is solving several common problems in construction project management, especially around disconnected information, communication gaps, document control, coordination, and visibility. It helps bring drawings, models, RFIs, submittals, issues, photos, schedules, and project communication into one connected platform, which reduces the need to search through emails, shared folders, or multiple separate systems. This benefits me by making it easier to access the latest information, track project status, coordinate with different stakeholders, and make decisions with more confidence. It also helps reduce the risk of working from outdated drawings, improves accountability by clearly assigning and tracking action items, and supports better collaboration between office and field teams. Overall, it saves time, keeps the project more organized, improves transparency, and helps the team manage day-to-day work more efficiently from planning through execution. “Accurate Construction Estimates with Real-World Pricing”
What do you like best about Handoff?

The system is built around estimates, SOWs, and general chat related to the construction industry. I like how it looks for real-world pricing through Home Depot and allows users to put in their own variables like markups or taxes. The estimates themselves are only as good as your description of the job, so if you're on-point with your description, SOW, and plans it's within the 90th percentile on being correct normally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Handoff?

The only downside is on more complicated jobs the system tends to be all over the place. Breaking down complex projects with multiple SOWs resolves a lot of this, but you have to be very watchful of it's pricing as sometimes it can come in very high or very low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Precision Estimating Meets Practical Project Control”
What do you like best about Methvin?

I appreciate solutions that help organizations operate with greater confidence and consistency, and Methvin delivers strongly in that area. What impressed me most is its first-principles estimating approach. Instead of relying on outdated benchmarks or assumptions, the platform builds estimates from actual labor, plant, and material costs, helping teams create bids that are both competitive and realistic.

The collaboration capabilities are another major advantage. Teams can work from a shared source of information in real time, which reduces communication gaps and helps maintain alignment across estimating, planning, and project delivery functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Methvin?

Methvin offers substantial functionality, but new users may need time to become comfortable with the platform. Organizations moving from spreadsheet-based estimating or basic project management systems should expect an onboarding period before realizing the full benefits.

The depth of the platform can also feel excessive for smaller teams handling relatively simple projects. Some features may remain underutilized unless the organization is managing multiple stakeholders and complex project workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Methvin solving and how is that benefiting you?

Methvin stands out as a construction-focused platform that combines accurate estimating, project visibility, and operational control within a single ecosystem. Its first-principles methodology encourages more disciplined bidding, while its project management and documentation capabilities help organizations maintain control throughout the project lifecycle. I have worked with many software programs and there is always a promise for support during migration (which is the hardest part of switching) but it's often a bait and switch. Not with Spencer who helped us every step of the way! The simplicity of the software is also great . “Effortless Takeoffs with Impressive Built-In Tools”
What do you like best about STACK Takeoff & Estimate?

I really like the variety of built-in tools and how easy it is to complete material count takeoffs, whether it’s for small homes or 360-unit buildings. These tools help speed up takeoffs while keeping them accurate, and they also make it easier to find and flag crucial information needed for quotes and for after the project is won. I’ve loved how straightforward STACK Takeoff & Estimate has been since our trial, and we now have 15 memberships. The initial setup was simple and went smoothly. What do you dislike about STACK Takeoff & Estimate?

What problems is STACK Takeoff & Estimate solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use STACK Takeoff & Estimate for material counts and takeoffs, which allows us to expedite quotes and production paperwork while storing all related information in one easy-to-use, cloud-based space. The automation features saves a lot of time on repetitive financial tasks, and the dashboards provides clear visibility into project performance. What do you dislike about Togal.AI?

Library functionality. I wish I could easily import my assembly library, and I also wish the selector were more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Togal.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?

I currently use Togal for takeoff, but it would be a game changer if Togal let me import my own library of about 4,000 assemblies and made it easy to navigate while I’m doing a takeoff. Also, when I enter new takeoff items that aren’t already in the library, being able to save them for the next estimate would be another big upside.

I’m developing an AI estimating software based on my own database, so if I could export my Togal takeoff (which is mostly made up of my own assemblies), the estimate output could be automatic instead of requiring the manual entry I currently do in Accubid/Mccormick or Conest. “UDA Construction Online Keeps the Entire Construction Workflow in One Place”
What do you like best about UDA ConstructionOnline?

What stands out the most about UDA Construction Online is how much it tries to keep the entire construction workflow in one system instead of making contractor's bounce between separate apps for estimating, scheduling, budgeting, communication, and field reporting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UDA ConstructionOnline?

While UDA ConstructionOnline has useful project management features, I find the interface can be cumbersome and not always intuitive. Certain tasks require multiple steps to complete, which can slow down workflow. Reporting and document management could be more streamlined, and the mobile experience is not always as efficient as the desktop version. Better integration with accounting software and more customizable dashboards would also improve the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UDA ConstructionOnline solving and how is that benefiting you?

UDA ConstructionOnline helps us keep project information organized in one place, including schedules, budgets, documents, change orders, and client communications. “Acumatica Delivers Flexibility and Scalability for Global Growth”
What do you like best about Acumatica?

I love that Acumatica is truly cloud-based, making accessibility seamless for our global teams. The generic inquiry (GI) feature is a game changer, allowing even non-technical users like me to build custom reports and dashboards easily. Its intuitive web interface makes onboarding new employees quick, and the scalability means we can grow without being handcuffed by the ERP system. The consumption-based pricing structure is also a huge plus, and the reliability has been outstanding compared to previous systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike, but the process of migrating from our old system was complex, especially consolidating customers from multiple databases. Integrating new acquisitions and handling multi-currency, multi-tenant setups required extra effort and some creative workarounds, but Acumatica’s flexibility helped us address these challenges. I’d also say that while AI features are promising, we’re still exploring their full potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scalability and flexibility are the biggest strengths for us. Because of features like attributes, we’ve been able to design the underlying data structure so it can live in both big and small buckets, depending on what we need. That makes it easy to add something like a brand attribute for a new product, and then have the data automatically flow throughout the data ecosystem we’ve created. What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

All of the modules work with each other, as long as everything is entered correctly by the employee using the system in the office. That said, the system is more complex for some employees, especially when they do not try to understand how the modules connect in order to generate the specific reports you’re looking for or need for your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

A quick couple come to mind.

The need to contact Deltek on errors or missing information prior to the cloud migration. We struggle with getting issues resolved for what we had prior with our in-house server.

We also should not have to pay an additional cost for the Custom Reports of submitting Certified Payrolls on jobs that are required by the state or federal governments. With as many as need these Custom Reports, you have made a profit no doubt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently we have an issue with the ability to see reports that are open (which could be 6-10) and not know what the report is without getting the entire screen open. That is not solving anything.

This is because of migrating to the cloud. It is not solved and sounds like more testing, so more frustration on our end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Adaptive Makes Draw Packages and Invoicing Fast and Effortless”
What do you like best about Adaptive?

Adaptive simplifies draws - I have NEVER been able to compose draw packages so quickly and it makes my life so much easier not having to dedicate an entire day - or two - to composing draw packages!!

I also love that Adaptive eliminates a lot of the tedious invoicing process (having to manually enter a vendor, invoice number, amount, etc.). It automatically pulls the information from the invoice and enters it, which saves SO much time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive?

While it's extremely convenient because it automatically pulls the info over from the invoices, it's not 100% accurate (obviously not something I would expect, but I think some people may so I do want to point this out). You DO have to review all invoice fields to ensure the information that was pulled over was correct and that draws contain everything included; I have, at times, had Adaptive completely remove invoices from draws after a revision was made, even though the invoice wasn't removed by me, so as long as you are in a habit of double checking everything, it's not a huge issue (the likes definitely outweigh the dislikes). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive solving and how is that benefiting you?

Draw packages!! Draws used to take me an entire day (or two, depending on how many I had to compose, how many projects I was completing them for, how many invoices were in each, etc) but they now take almost no time at all. This increases my productivity and ultimately saves money because I can now focus that time on other areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Online Project Management That Streamlines Customer Communication”
What do you like best about CoConstruct?

I like that CoConstruct is online. It's helpful at it allows project management to program efficiently. Communication with customers without being on-site, selections is product, choices in paint color, when a sub contractor is going to be on site. So fine without needing to be physically with the customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoConstruct?

There a bit of a learning curve to it. There is training which is seeding. But there is multiple ways to do the same things, not not always shown in a report if not done the particular way it needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoConstruct solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's solving particularly the need to be on site with a customer to deal with any issues that might arise any questions that might arise. Or anything else that might come along. Save the person from having to go to a physical job site which is efficient when you need to deal with five or six at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
