We use A|B Mobile and the time entered in the field imports directly into A|B. The interaction with Aatrix for fling quarterly and annual payroll reports is very accurate and saves time filing electronically. We use the document routing for accounts payable invoices and the document module for filing documents electronically per job or vendor. When analyzing data in A|B, the MAR reports exported to Excel are helpful. The AccuBuild Analytics module helps me in exporting jobs in progress reports for adjusting estimates or by project manager or salesman. This is the module I use for preparing schedules for our annual audit of financial statements. **What do you dislike about AccuBuild?** The Project Management module is very robust but rather complicated. I have began setting up this module and I am hopeful it will be advantageous to us and our PMs can learn it. The report writer in A|B is very complicated and the normal user will not be able to setup reports. I have found when I need custom reports written, they are finished in a reasonable amount of time. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** Imputing non-cash fringe benefits in payroll. Creating jobs in progress reports for commissions by Superintendent, Project Manager & Salesman. Better documentation - this is a work-in-progress. Our goal is to have all data related to a project in the A|B System. Daily Reports - this is in the beginning stages. ### 3. It is very efficient and save a lot of time compared to Quickbooks. **What do you dislike about AccuBuild?** Sometimes there is some back and forth between sections. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company was doing job costing by hand. With this integrated system, it saves us time. ### 4. I like that I can "drill down" on numbers in certain reports and that I can also resort information, again depending on the module I'm in and what I am doing. Also, my trainer has been amazing. Lisa is a great asset to the company and was a huge help in getting me up and running, especially after I transitioned from a software that had used for over 20 years. That can be a bit nerve-wracking, but Lisa made the process much less painful. **What do you dislike about AccuBuild?** There were a few aspects from my old software that were not available in my AccuBuild software that we had to develop work arounds for (401k match, GL insurance accrual to jobs, etc...). We did it, but there is a functionality/reporting issue with one of the workarounds (GL insurance burden) that I pointed out several months ago. I was told it would be looked at by the programming department, but it has still not been fixed, forcing me to manually adjust the report each time I use it. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are only using the accounting aspect currently (not any of the project management). Doing monthly financials is much easier on the whole. ### 5. Our payroll and job costing needs are handled easily and efficiently through their integrated software system and we are able to stay on top of our projects quickly to make adjustments. During the pandemic, AccuBuild on the cloud has allowed us to continue to stay on top of our business without any disconnect from the field and office. In addition, customer service is easy to contact when there are accounting or software issues. **What do you dislike about AccuBuild?** I wish there was a customer loyalty program to receive discounts on annual software cost. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our payroll hours are submitted weekly with only a day lag and payroll is easily handled internally without utilizing a third party. We like the control that allows. In addition, all required payroll reports are generated so that the 941's and State reports are easily submitted. W2's aren't an issue since AccuBuild ties into Aatrix for little cost. AccuBuild stays on top of IRS changes and uploads them to our client software automatically. AccuBuild reduces the stress of staying on top of tax changes. ### 6. I may have to take more time entering PR each week, however, the reports and information I'm able to drill down by employee, state, etc. is beyond useful. **Recommendations to others considering AccuBuild:** Definitely purchase the Cloud option. You can literally work from anywhere. Also, your subscription includes automatic software updates by their support team so you never have to worry about not being on the latest update. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have no problems using the software, and the reports can be as simple or as detailed as you want them. ### 7. Other companies put your software special requests on a list, which typically ends up in the trash. Accubuild will listen to your request, give you a price for the solution, and build it. It's awesome. We can more accurately see where we are on our projects - Our way. They have a real special team that meet our needs. Love the Cloud. **What do you dislike about AccuBuild?** They are in Texas. I would like them back in California. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently working on a Time Clock made especially for our needs and working on an efficiency report for our Superintendents. They have built production reporting, altered many standard reports, changed many payroll items and payroll reporting, integrated with several other of our outside software companies, and built inter-company automated billings and payables. ### 8. The job costing is very effective and allows our company a seamless process from project set up to project finish. The system works well for us whether we are acting as a general contractor or a subcontractor on a job. The payroll system is very user-friendly as well as all other accounting functions. Accubuild integrates with Aatrix which assists in our tax filings for our quarterly and year taxes. They have phenomenal customer service. **What do you dislike about AccuBuild?** The project management processes are a little cumbersome (though functional), so we don't use the program for those purposes. But even without those functions, it was worked out for our company for years from payroll to job costing. **Recommendations to others considering AccuBuild:** Accubuild has been a complete solution for all of our construction accounting needs. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accubuild has allowed us to more seamlessly run all of our job costing from payroll, to vendors, to subcontractors and does a great job at keeping track of it all. Its reporting features have been instrumental in the preparation of quarterly financial statements. Certified Payroll is a breeze now with Accubuild. **What do you dislike about AccuBuild?** The time tracking function only operates on a Sunday-Saturday work week. Ours runs Wednesday through Tuesday, so it gets confusing when we are entering time. **Recommendations to others considering AccuBuild:** The support team is almost always available to answer a phone call or email when I'm having trouble. I started Accubuild with very little accounting knowledge, and they have been so patient and kind. Not to mention, extremely helpful. Also, certified payroll is a breeze now with Accubuild! **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** Workers' comp codes for insurance are super easy to calculate. We can break down a job by specific material and phase and see how much we overbid or underbid a job. It has helped us in bidding on future jobs. ### 10. We are impressed with the software and the support staff. **What problems is AccuBuild solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time Card Mobile Entry was a huge undertaking for us. It has saved us hours off of our Payroll processing time frames. Which not only equated to large monetary savings, but more importantly reduced entry errors while ensuring accuracy. ### 11.
