"Comprehensive, detailed, customizable software"

What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

We employ workers in a state that has multiple local taxes (municipalities, school districts) and Deltek makes it simple to ensure that the company and the employees are compliant with the multitude of taxes. This is especially essential since our employees work in multiple municipalities each payroll period.

As a union employer, we are required to comply with the rules, pay rates, fringes, and other details that are required of the unions with whom we are affiliated. Due to the nature of the construction industry, some employees work within multiple local unions in a given pay period, and Deltek has the essential ability to accommodate the varying pay rates, fringes, and misc. pay requirements.

When users are in need of technical assistance, Deltek has proven to be responsive and knowledgeable with our needs and requests, and have even consulted with our company regarding our specific, custom invoicing needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

I wish that Deltek-ComputerEase would expand their partner base to include integrations with a wider variety of other software providers in order to provide customers a greater selection. I would especially like to see more inventory management options. I also think that they could enhance their user experience for a more modern comprehensive look. We have Project Managers asking for a more easy to read dashboard that summaries a project or a group of projects in a more easy to understand manner without having to drill down and look thru lists of details. "Severely out of date compared to other softwares. Meaning UI/UX. Hard to manipulate."

What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

Reporting isn't too bad after a lot of setup. Unfortunately, it takes ODBCs and significant knowledge how to do so. I'd prefer to have better dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Three years ago, users requested visibility into who makes changes in the system. While this has been implemented in a few places, it has largely not been done. Users can enter invoices in the system without visibility into who entered it. Users can edit or delete a job without visibility. Budgets can be changed - no visibility. We take feedback from our customers very seriously and actively monitor our ideas portal, where we also discuss ideas with customers. Through our ideas portal, customer advisory council, and other customer groups managed by our product management team, we routinely review and prioritize top items, and this is one of them. With each release, we include customer requests, and as you mentioned, this feature is being gradually implemented across the system, which is why you have seen it roll out in some areas.
