"The Best Free Code Editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The most notable characteristic is that it supports a wide range of programming languages. It is also an excellent debugger. The interface is easy to use, and the layout is simple. I also love how I can run code from PowerShell or Command Prompt. I highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It takes too much time away from development. There aren't many problems with Visual Studio Code, however, one thing that should be better is the high memory and CPU use. Also, to work within code, packages must be installed using the command prompt and launched through node.js. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome IDE to code on."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The question here should be what not I liked. Everything in Visual studio code is Awesome and in its right place. The extension store is full of awesome stuff which makes the coding fun and fast to execute tasks. My favorite extensions are live share and Bracket Pair Colorizer. What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There is nothing to dislike about visual studio code. Yeah, but a signing into the visual studio should be made a little easier. Sometimes it becomes a tedious task to log in via GitHub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best code editor for all language"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The best thing about Visual Studio is that we can do programming in all languages in a single editor. The installation of extensions and plugins is effortless. It has debuggers for various languages and frameworks, making it a viable alternative to IDEs. It also integrates with git, Azure, and a slew of other services. Its color categorization feature also aids us in better managing and seeing our code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The one flaw with VS Code is that there isn't much of a community to help newbies who are just getting started with coding and trying to figure out the many levels. It does not provide a way to solve any error raised during our code execution. I would say there can be many more mind-boggling features hidden in it, which I might not have explored yet. But from my experience, nothing to dislike here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
