What do experts think about international payroll software?

Hi everyone, I’m gathering insights on international payroll software and looking for expert-level feedback on tools that work well across multiple countries.

There are a lot of platforms out there, but not all of them handle cross-border payroll, compliance, and team management equally well. I’ve reviewed some of the top-rated options on G2 and would love to hear from folks who have worked with these systems in depth.

Rippling

Rippling is widely praised for its unified HR, IT, and payroll platform. It supports international payroll and is often chosen for its automation and ability to scale with growing teams.

Deel

Deel is a favorite among global-first companies. It supports payroll in over 100 countries and manages contracts, compliance, and payments for both employees and contractors.

Remote

Remote is purpose-built for distributed teams. It handles payroll, benefits, and compliance across countries and is known for its clean interface and transparent onboarding.

Paycom

Paycom delivers robust HR and payroll functionality, especially for larger companies. It includes multi-country support, though some users mention it requires more setup for international rollouts.

Multiplier

Multiplier focuses on global employment and payroll in 150+ countries. It gets strong marks for compliance management, ease of use, and startup-friendly pricing.

If you’ve used any of these tools for international payroll, what was your experience like? Would you recommend them, and what should others know before choosing one?

Has anyone worked with Rippling or Remote for international payroll? I'm curious which one handles global compliance and employee experience more effectively.
