"Visual Studio Code is the weapon of all the Developers."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I like all the features it has we can code in many languages and can test as well. Here we can also integrate so many technologies. The best thing in Visual Studio Code is we can connect to Git as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes installing node modules take so much time in the case of Node.js. And set-up also takes so much time .So if these issues get resolved. More users will be happy to use Visual Studio Code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I love the VS Code , It's one of the best development tools and very user friendly"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

As of my development career, I have used many tools, but visual studio code is one of the best development tools. You can write the c# code Javascript code, and We can Create API and UI with VS code. It's speedy and user-friendly. You can install other extensions like ESLINT, Premier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Not as of now, but they can include more features as technology changes day by day. But as of current, I found enough features or extensions to do UI & API development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A perfect IDE to meet every developers needs"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The best feature of VSCode is that it allows you to do development in all sorts of languages. It is very lightweight unlike Visual Studio Professional, which required 5-10 GBs of space on your computer. In VSCode you just have to install relevant Extensions for your development needs and that's you, you can start development completely for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes searching for some setting in the pallet is difficult. Dont know if this feature of pallet is known to other developers around the world from using some other product. But I find it tricky to use the pallet to search for setting. Maybe it will require some getting used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong and stable editing software"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visually clear and crisp looking font though everything is customizable. Lots of packages are available for integration and language support. One thing I like about visual studio is the ability to connect to a remote server in a simple way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

One thing I noticed and I slightly have a different opinion about Visual Studio Code is the connection to the remote server loses now and then. I have to reconnect and wait for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Text Editor to Use for Web Development"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I love the blend of simplicity and customization. Being able to have a plain text editor when it's nice to focus purely on the code, but then some easy keystrokes away from access to recent files, other projects, command prompt, and any added extensions make the coding experience more manageable. Speaking of extensions there is so much support for the editor with extensions for nearly anything you could need for your project workflow. It's also fun to swap out themes every now and then to keep the editor environment fresh. The editor gets regular updates and some of them even incorporate 3rd party extensions into the base build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Honestly, there isn't anything that comes to mind as to what I dislike about the program. The main thing I think people may struggle with is how complex the editor can get, but there are many tutorials and classes out there to help and Visual Studio Code has detailed documentation as well. "VS Code: Review"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

When I settled on Visual Studio Code, I also considered other options such as IntelliJ Idea and others. Because of the wide plugin base supported by open source developers and its speed when compared to other programming editors, I picked visual studio code above the other options. Because developers are already accustomed to the coding environment, VS Code is incredibly straightforward to integrate with businesses and developers. It was largely a software modification rather than a technical change in terms of programming. It was only a new editor at the time. It's really simple to switch from one to the other. I propose trying out Visual Studio Code and setting up a local development environment for a programming project of your choice if you're considering it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It shows warnings and faults in the code. In such a case, we'll have to restart Visual Studio Code. Also, turning off telemetry is tricky, and some add-ons might cause the software to crash. When it comes to checking multi-language code, finding errors, and highlighting code that shouldn't be highlighted, compilers can run into serious problems. It's a little difficult to properly set up for a new user. Choosing the proper extension might be tough because there are so many that accomplish the same thing. "Visual studio code is one for all"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The best thing about visual studio code is that it is expendable... You can simply add extension and start workin, for example if you want to work on python project and you need python snippets then just install relevant extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Mostly it is a good choice for code editing but when it comes to large scale projects like Android project where you need emulator and complex debugging then you can not use VS code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
