"Visual Studio Code: The IDE for everything!"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I love the customization that is available when using Visual Studio Code, there are so many extensions for any language imaginable and, so many themes to customize the look! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Some of more advanced IDE features like line by line code execution are not featured in VS Code, so to get them you will most likely need to use its older brother, Visual Studio. To improve this, Microsoft should add additional IDE features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio Code - A beautiful tool for developers by Microsoft"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Microsoft Visual Studio Code provides a lightweight editor which opens up quickly and enables faster editing as compared to other heavy IDEs out there in the market. The most important thing is the editor provides extensions through which you can add as many languages as you want to develop apps through this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The app gets heavier when you try to use multiple integrated terminals for a single project. Especially when developing apps in frameworks like React or Angular, the editor slows down a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

While I am using I found one issue that it is slow when it's open and sometimes a new file is open and is not separate. At the time of commit over code is needed to stage changes but sometimes when the large file or more folders changes adding new or deleting some at that time loss some file it creating issues with commits. "Most preferred development tool by Front-end Developers"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The best part of VS Code is the huge community that has been built around it. So, there is very less chance you get stuck in an issue for long. Someone might have already faced the issue and either there would be a solution available for it or it has already been picked up Microsoft team to get it fixed. Also, due to the same reason, there are a lot of extensions available to ease the development work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Visual studio code is not as powerful as IntelliJ's WebStorm. The reason is IntelliSense. WebStorm's IntelliSense is way too powerful compared to Visual Studio Code. So, it infers types properly and provides better autocomplete suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VSCode - Finest Code Editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

If you are new to coding then VSCode is the tool that you can use. It helps you to start coding quickly.

VSCode provides you to code in any programming language for example Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and more.

VSCode is available for different Operating Systems like macOS, Linux, Windows etc.

You can edit, build and debug with full ease with VSCode. As we all know when coding gets tough, debugging gets also difficult but VSCode provides an interactive debugger.

VSCode provides features like syntax highlighting, bracket-matching, auto-indentation, box selection etc.

In all, it is a powerful tool for writing and debugging code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Everything is good about this tool.

Just one thing to dislike is that sometimes I am not able to find useful features of the VSCode. Need to spend some time for finding them and putting them in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
