"Best code editor with numerous feature for developers"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is one of the best code editors for developers. It has incredible integration of most developer tools, extensions that increase the productivity of writing code, hundreds of programming language support, great debugging tools, and so on. There's an integration of git so developers don't need to open a separate terminal to push everything. It can all be done from the editor with just one click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It is sometimes buggy and it crashes. This heavily filled feature tool sometimes crashes but it is a rare case. You have to sometimes reload the window if there is an update in one of the extensions. Not many complains but it would be better if those crashing bugs are fixed. It also sometimes laggs while writing a code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A polished clean IDE"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Before using VS Code I was using mostly Eclipse or Netbeans etc IDE which is not easy to set up and mostly each IDE was good for each language, but the main plus point of VS code is that it has massive plugin support which is truly amazing if you want to write something just download the respective plugin and start working smartly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Since Visual studio code is written in Electron JS and for that reason it takes a huge resource and not that fast though the features it offers are unmatchable but sometimes it feels heavy on the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect platform to write and execute programs"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The best and perfect part of visual studio code is its simplicity. I can change its look according to my wish easily. Most platforms that provide the same feature are a bit complicated and make it difficult for me to work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

There isn't much to dislike about Visual Studio Code but only one. I wouldn't say I like the way the files are displayed as they seem a bit messy and irritate me while programming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review of VS code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The visual studio code supports multiple languages and has good integration. What I like the most is that I do not need to install multiple applications for different languages. I just have VS Code and it supports many platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Some external add-ons or extensions are faulty, and there are multiple coders contributing to the extension tool, it is hard to find legit extensions. One time my python extension had crashed and even though I tried to uninstall and install it again, it was not working properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
