"Best Development Tool For Frontend"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I am using this tool to develop my angular frontend for my application, it is easy to use and it supports multiple extensions which makes the code easy to write and it formats the code automatically by knowing the type of file. It is useful for any frontend framework like angular or react Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I my opinion it is not good for java development that is a backend language, I tried to run java applications in this and it runs but that is not as good as Eclipse or IntelliJ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review for vs code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

It has good support for extensions. It has the best intuitive user interface, powerful code completion, and syntax highlighting features. I also like the customization feature, which allows me to customize the look and feel of your development environment. Last thing is it is free to use and open source software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It does not offer integrated development environment (IDE) features such as project management and unit testing. I find debugging a bit difficult in vs code compared to other code editors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Studio: A powerful IDE that enhances software development efficiency"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft that offers a wide range of features and tools for creating high-quality software applications. One of the main advantages of Visual Studio is its ease of use and intuitive user interface, which allows developers to work more efficiently and productively.

With Visual Studio, developers can work in several programming languages, including C#, C++, Visual Basic, F#, and more, making it a useful tool for a variety of software projects. The IDE also offers a large number of integrated tools, such as debuggers, performance analyzers, code editors, and project templates, which facilitate the development of software applications.

Another advantage of Visual Studio is its ability to integrate with other Microsoft tools, such as Azure, Visual Studio Team Services, and GitHub, allowing developers to collaborate on software projects in real-time and more efficiently.

Additionally, Visual Studio has a large community of developers and extensive documentation available online, which makes learning and problem-solving easier for both novice and experienced developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Despite its numerous advantages, Visual Studio also has some limitations and disadvantages that can affect software developers. One of the main disadvantages of Visual Studio is its cost, as the full version is quite expensive compared to other development tools available in the market. This can make access to Visual Studio difficult for independent developers or small businesses with limited budgets.

Additionally, Visual Studio can be somewhat heavy and slow on some machines, especially those with lower specifications, which can affect developers' productivity and performance.

Another disadvantage of Visual Studio is its learning curve, as it has a large number of features and tools that can be overwhelming for novice developers. Sometimes, the user interface can also be confusing and difficult to understand, which can delay the development process and frustrate developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VS Code - My Favourite and most efficient text editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

1. I can use various extensions while writing the code. It helps me make my life easier by providing many options like highlighting syntex, lint error etc.

2. I can directly access my remote development machine.

3. It also comes with a lot of customisation and support.

4. With In-built terminal window, you can perform operations of your choice like building, deployments and testing the code.

5. You can work simultaneously with multiple tabs, windows, etc. It is lightweight and highly productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I am satisfied with VS code. But I would like to suggest some improvements-

1. It is difficult for the beginner to adapt to the VS code because it provides lots of functionality but lacks simplicity. Sublime is doing better in terms of keeping things simple.

2. It provides lots of Extensions for a single task. They should hide them by default and suggest them only if the user has enabled that feature.

3. Few extensions are unstable and can bring you in trouble. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is an amazing software with many features which makes coding fun and easy for me. It has many great plugins available which can help people to code simultaneously on different computers, which makes it easier for us to code any program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The software is too big, and it sometimes crashes when opening very big text files. Other than that I have not found any issues with this software, and it is working great for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A necessary software for any programmer at any level"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio, besides being a super easy software to use, is also very powerful, capable of creating programs ranging from the most basic to the most complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Although it is a powerful software, Visual Studio has limitations, for example, when we talk about data analysis, where other software have more tools and functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
