"Versatile Code Editor for Smooth Progress"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

That it runs on every platform which it is easy for our team members to run on different platforms, and it is a very lightweight and fast platform and carries many various extensions, we mostly commit all the codes to Git so it's easy to integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

It consumes a lot of memory once the progress has begun and sometimes it's hard to manage large projects plus various mandatory features need to be added through extension instead of inbuilt features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reviewing Visual Studio Code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

VS Code is very adaptable, enabling developers to customise the editor to meet their own requirements and tastes. Users can set up keyboard shortcuts and other settings, add functionality, and alter the editor's appearance and feel by installing extensions.

Features of an Integrated Development Environment (IDE): VS Code provides a wealth of IDE tools, including syntax highlighting, code completion, debugging, and Git integration. These tools aid in the more effective and error-free writing of code by programmers.

Cross-Platform Support: VS Code is a flexible option for developers that work across many operating systems since it is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Complexity: VS Code is extremely versatile and adaptable, but some users may find the sheer quantity of features and settings to be overwhelming. For new developers in particular, learning how to utilise VS Code efficiently can take some time.

Resource Consumption: VS Code uses a lot of resources to function properly, even if it is lighter than some other IDEs in comparison. This is especially true while working on large projects or running several extensions.

Even though VS Code is intended to be user-friendly, there is a learning curve involved in becoming acquainted with the editor's features and capabilities. This could be time-consuming or frustrating for certain users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
