"Popular programming language editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

For its simplicity and versatility, I love Visual Studio Code. The customizable interface allows for easy customization, while the live mode is great for quickly building websites or debugging in real time. The Extension Store has a wide range of useful extensions that can be used to enhance projects as needed. GitHub integration makes pulling, pushing, and committing requests much easier than before - even allowing multiple tasks at once if desired! In addition, debugging tools like ES Lint help catch syntax errors easily, making coding faster and more efficient overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I find Visual Studio Code inefficient when it comes to long programs. It can be difficult for the program and the output terminal interface to stay connected as more lines of code are added, resulting in delays or errors during execution. In addition, while many languages are supported by VSCode, customization with visual content is often limited, which is a problem when visuals such as images need to be part of the coding process. What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

-Its source code is open for contribution and free download and use. This makes it a fantastic choice for companies seeking a flexible and affordable development environment.

-A quick and responsive lightweight editor is available even on massive projects with several files.

-It has a large plugin ecosystem with over 20,000 plugins available to further its functionality. Because of this, it's a fantastic choice for companies that require a development environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

-For new users, it could seem overwhelming

-lacks some functionality found in more robust IDEs, like full-fledged refactoring tools.

-Large projects with multiple files might be slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best IDE in the market after IntelliJ"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

A very good IDE for writing code related to Java web application development specially for writing code using frameworks like Angular and ReactJS. The autocomplete features in VS Code are far better than other IDEs. The color format also helps in distinguishing blocks of code and makes the code look more clean and attractive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Sometimes the application gets stuck while loading large files like the node modules. But its not a big issue and can be resolved in one or two updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
