"Great, quick and customizable"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I really like the search and replace funtcion. To be honest just with the Visul Studio Code can I properly search and replace things. Often I need to make small web adjustments in that code which not I wrote and so far this is the best tool to import the whole project and search and replace with the competitior softwares for some reason if I load 600 - 800 php files than everything is going to be slow.

You can customize the full user interface and I have got a really nice color scheme or just download from many preparaid theme.

There are pleanty extension which can help fasten your workflow very well.

Super intuitive and easy to use. I love the user interface. You can split your screen if you need more files to be open.

Visual Studio is an all-in-one package for software developers. So propably you will not need another software because you get everything all in one.

MS Visual Studio Code is fully free and regularly updated I think it is a great deal.

I am statisfied at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

You need to install extensions to get basic functions like highlight the opening and closing tags, okey fine you can get for an extension but still.

If you want code professionally than I would suggest to you MS Visual Studio but that will cost you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A cool code management and code collaboration software for all."
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

1. The first thing I like about Visual studio code is the suggestions given while typing for Keywords, variables, and headers.

2. When we give starting tags in the code, the ending tag is provided automatically.

3. We have keyboard shortcut references which help in saving our time.

4. Collaboration: When we install the GitLens, We can know the person's name who edited a particular line in our code.

5. Colour coding pattern: The colors are given for similar code lines; for example, static code has one color, and dynamic code has one color. For data visualization, it is beneficial.

6. For the components, If we forget the component name, We can find the component name by searching with method names.

7. Also, VS code supports major coding languages such as Python, JAVA, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.,

8. I feel debugging in the VS code is easy. I can find where the errors are present in our code.

9. Visual Studio code is Flexible and Stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Source code editor"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

I find Visual Studio Code to be an invaluable asset for any project that requires the use of multiple languages. Its comprehensive set of features and debugging capabilities make it a versatile tool, capable of not only coding quickly, but also running tests specifically tailored to the platform or device specified by some projects. I particularly appreciate its real-time syntax error detection, which allows me to quickly identify scripts with potential problems, and its adaptive editing performance optimisation through its library of parameter suggestion commands as we code our creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

I find that Visual Studio Code has some problems when it comes to handling larger and more complex tasks. The editor tends to become unreliable or even crash when you're working on large files in document mode, which is inconvenient for developers running code from the available cmd/terminal shell tools; they can be somewhat incompatible and cause problems when trying to run your programs.
